Develops and implements a cohesive online marketing strategy for the organization's websites that maximizes the growth of online sales and meets the organization's overall business goals. Performs and/or supervises all business administration roles in an e-commerce implementation, such as store configuration, store management, marketing, merchandising, etc.: Manages the execution of marketing and promotion events on the website and ensures events are executed in an accurate and effective manner. Leads and directs merchandising and product positioning. Develops and implements marketing strategies to increase website conversion rates, revenue, profitability, site traffic, and reduce cart abandonment rates. Defines, plans, and executes social media strategies such as blogs, podcasts, and other community and social networking tools. Develops keyword and search engine optimization (SEO) strategies and affiliate marketing. Evaluates new web technologies for brand building and increased sales. Collaborates with Database Marketing team to track and analyze all online advertising activities (SEO, pay-per-click, e-mail marketing, and affiliate marketing) and provide proactive insights and recommendations. Collaborates with design and marketing teams to create a successful user experience. Manages the development and generation of fresh online content. Stays abreast of competitive sites and new technologies, sites, and media that will influence user behavior.

e-Commerce Marketing Director

Manages and maintains websites and develops and implements online marketing strategies to drive online sales growth. Develops and coordinates all online marketing activities to increase online traffic, customer loyalty, and retention. Identifies opportunities for online sales traffic optimization and provides recommendations to improve program performance.: Develops search engine marketing strategies to increase online traffic, including SEO (natural search optimization), SEM (paid search marketing), and affiliate programs. Defines and helps implement effective online marketing strategies, tactics, programs, and incentives to drive customer acquisition, retention, and sales. Coordinates e-mail campaigns to achieve targeted ROI for retention and up-sell marketing opportunities. Increases e-commerce performance indicators such as conversion rate and average order value through cart analysis and sell and up-sell merchandising strategy. Shapes web analytics key performance indicators (KPI's), and implements or oversees implementation and ongoing use of web analytics tools.

e-Commerce Strategy Director

Develops e-commerce strategies to drive online sales growth and meet the organization's overall business goals. Develops Internet/extranet strategies, coordinates effort across all IT functions, and provides ongoing management of e-commerce activities. Creates and maintains alignment with e-commerce business and technology planning and architecture processes. Ensures integration of strategic planning processes across e-commerce, business units, and technology.: Drives business decisions around e-commerce website designs and implementations. Recommends and participates in the implementation of improvements to e-commerce websites. Ensures project documentation is developed and maintained, including function point analysis/project estimations, project plans, issues lists, risk registers, and impact analysis. Develops business requirements and functional specifications with the assistance of business analysts and/or project leaders, or guides others to ensure these specifications are developed. Report status formally to project sponsors and stakeholders on a regular basis. Updates business/IS roadmaps as needed. Serves as subject matter expert for business processes facilitated by the e-commerce applications. Manages, develops, and evaluates direct reports as assigned. May manage the analysis and selection of vended software products that support the e-commerce strategy.

Directs activities of chamber of commerce to promote business, industrial and job development, and civic improvements in community: administers programs of departments and committees which perform such functions as providing members economic and marketing information, promoting economic growth and stability in community, and counseling business organizations and industry on problems affecting local economy. Writes and gives speeches to government, and business organizations to create greater understanding between community, government, and business organizations.
