Transaction Advisory Services Manager

Participates in engagement management, engagement execution and reporting, and client relationship building and management. Lends specific subject matter knowledge, and offers companies professional transaction experience, such as managing business valuations for management planning, mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax and regulatory compliance, restructuring and reorganization, and corporate strategy. Identifies issues and proposes strategies related to the procedures executed. Helps clients understand the value of their business, securities, intellectual property, capital equipment, real estate, intangibles, and other assets.: Leads, develops, and maintains strong working relationships with key business decision makers to communicate value and inform them of the scope of services offered. Provides guidance and expertise and leads project teams to coordinate valuation engagements. Develops new and creative analyses to prove key assertions across multiple work streams. Assumes a leadership role in report generation and detailed financial modeling. Presents findings to the client via reports and presentations. Maintains and develops positive, productive, and professional relationships with client personnel. Stays abreast of current business and economic developments relevant to the client's business. Uses current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of the valuation services provided. Identifies and communicates relevant trends, developments, and key performance drivers relevant to the client. Demonstrates a deep understanding of the client's industry and marketplace. Delegates to all levels of staff. Conducts performance reviews, serves as a positive leader and mentor, and contributes to performance feedback and training.

Chief Librarian Readers Advisory Services

Coordinates activities of library branch or department, and assists patrons in selection and location of books, audiovisual materials, and other materials: trains and directs workers in performance of such tasks as receiving, shelving, and locating materials. Examines book reviews, publishers' catalogs, and other information sources to recommend material acquisition. Searches catalog files, biographical dictionaries, and indexes, and examines content of reference materials to assist patrons in locating and selecting materials. May assemble and arrange materials for display. May prepare replies to mail requests for information. May be designated according to type of library as chief librarian, branch (library); or according to department as chief librarian, circulation department (library); chief librarian, extension department (library); chief librarian, general reference department (library); chief librarian, music department (library); chief librarian, periodical reading room (library); chief librarian, readers' advisory service (library); chief librarian, work with blind (library).

Participates in operation, testing, and development of all types of police, fire, or other municipal communication systems. Confers with municipal authorities for approval of major capital investments needed in establishing and maintaining system. Cooperates with fire, weather station, and civil defense authorities to originate or relay emergency messages. In communities where equipment is used primarily for police broadcasts, may be a police officer and be designated according to rank as radio-division captain; radio-division lieutenant.

Transportation Top Officer

Plans, directs, organizes, and controls traffic and transportation plans, policies, programs, and procedures for the organization. Coordinates activities of traffic, fleet, and distribution. Plans, directs, and implements transportation scheduling, allocation, dispatching, licensing, and communication functions in accordance with established policies and objectives to effect economical utilization of facilities and equipment. Reports to Chief Executive Officer or Chief Operating Officer.: Reviews and revises transportation schedules to ensure increased efficiency and to lower costs. Conducts field surveys to evaluate operations and recommends changes. Analyzes proposed schedules and rates, initiates preparation and distribution of proposed trip schedule changes, and submits analyses of data and rescheduling recommendations to administration. Directs compilation and preparation of statistical surveys to determine traffic trends. Reviews and analyzes reports, such as revenue and performance records, and seat occupancy patterns to secure information for recommended changes. Reviews cost statements to locate excessive expenses, and develops plans, policies, and budgets. Selects and recommends personnel for staff positions and trains and assigns personnel for supervisory positions. May supervise fleets of trucks or other vehicles.

Plant Top Industrial Officer

Directs and coordinates activities of industrial organization to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits. Typically reports to a top officer and has managers reporting to this position.: Plans and develops organization policies and goals, and implements goals through subordinate administrative personnel. Coordinates activities of divisions or departments, such as operating, manufacturing, engineering, planning, sales, maintenance, or research and development, to effect operational efficiency and economy. Directs and coordinates promotion of products manufactured or services performed to develop new markets, increase share of market, and obtain competitive position in industry. Analyzes division or department budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made, and allocates operating budget. Confers with administrative personnel, and reviews activity, operating, and sales reports to determine changes in programs or operations required. Directs preparation of directives to division or department administrator outlining policy, program, or operations changes to be implemented. Promotes organization in industry, manufacturing or trade associations.

Tax Top Corporate Officer

Directs and coordinates tax strategy and administers tax affairs in compliance with Federal, State, local and foreign tax laws. Typically reports to Financial Top Officer or Operations Top Officer and director-level employees report to this position.: Prepares estimate expected and submits to management. Analyzes records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred. Develops, installs, and maintains reporting systems that provide control of tax expenditures. Directs and coordinates department responsible for preparation of state, federal and local tax returns. Files Federal and State income, ad valorem, franchise and other taxes. Advises management regarding tax matters. Interprets accounts and records to management. Oversees tax staff.

Sales & Marketing Top Officer
