Devises sales strategies and promotions to obtain maximum sales volume. Forecasts semi-annual and annual sales projections. Directs preparation of required reports. Interprets and enforces company policy and practices. Ensures the adequacy of sales training programs. May recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.

Determines and evaluates the client's primary and secondary objectives to be attained. Views each client's situation in light of multiple ways objectives could be reached. Determines the best approach to take to move the client to the desired end result in a timely and cost-effective way. Provides only the service needed and only those services that fall under area(s) of expertise. Provides potential clients with proof of professional licenses, proof of liability insurance, and letters from satisfied clients, and perhaps even phone numbers of people willing to share information about the consultant.

Sales Consultant Wholesale

Advises and assists wholesale sales team to drive revenue by helping to qualify sales opportunities and establish business with new accounts, and to increase sales from the distribution center to new and existing accounts. Works with sales team on developing sales strategies and recommending products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests. Demonstrates ways to optimize and sustain sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.: Answers RFP's (Requests for Proposal), prepares and delivers solution based product presentations, and delivers proof of concepts which meet customer business requirements. Possesses an understanding of sales methodologies and applies them in a sales situation. Positions company products against the competition. Persuades or influences others to accept a point of view, to adopt a specific agenda, or to take a course of action. Keeps current on product technical knowledge and learns new products and feature sets.

Media Sales Consultant

Sells a range of business advertising solutions to clients within a designated territory. Generates and maintains new accounts. Reviews, manages, and grows existing account base.: Identifies and qualifies prospective accounts with the objective of selling the client a service that matches their needs. Contacts and encourages prospective clients to integrate advertising solutions into their business plans. Analyzes client needs and growth opportunities. Strategizes with team members to grow revenues from top accounts and secure new accounts to achieve and exceed sales targets.
