MRI Administrator

Supervises and coordinates a medical center unit that provides MRI services to patients.: Hires, develops and motivates a qualified staff to ensure effective medical unit operation. Administrator Payroll

Processes organization's payroll and compiles payroll data to maintain accurate payroll records. Processes employee status changes, processes and analyzes payroll and employee expenses, reconciles general ledger accounts, creates on-going month-end, quarterly, and year-end organization reports, and performs other rated duties as assigned. Audits payroll information for accuracy. Reconciles payroll deposits, tax withholdings, wage garnishments, and voluntary deductions. Participates in problem solving and special projects within the Payroll Department. Assigns exempt and non-exempt worker status to employees.: Prepares responses to notices from government agencies regarding employee tax filings. Ensures that payroll-related transactions are processed in compliance with external and internal policies. Performs actions necessary to track and determine regular and overtime pay, and factors commission-based income or bonuses into an employee's salary. Calculates and processes Federal and State tax and social security withholdings, union dues, and other deductions, insurance, benefits, pension/retirement, 401(k) contributions and company match, and profit sharing. Screens time-worked inputs for calculating, coding, or other errors. Monitors computer reports alerting Payroll Clerks to problems or errors. Reconciles errors and maintains payroll records. Reviews and processes payroll adjustments, including vacation, sick, and other time off. Generates accrual entries, as required. Fields and responds to payroll inquiries and resolves discrepancies as required. Maintains knowledge of rules and laws which govern the payroll administration practices. Assists with training of Payroll Clerks. May prepare Accounts Payable check requests as necessary.

Systems Analysis Manager

Manages and coordinates subordinate staff engaged in preparation of systems analyses and solving computer problems. Assigns, coordinates, and reviews work of programming personnel. Responsible for studies to maximize benefits from equipment, personnel, and business processes. Typically reports to director level or above. The manager level is usually the second level of management and may have first level supervisors reporting to this position; however, in smaller companies the manager may be a first level supervisor over subordinate staff.: Consults with managerial and systems analysis personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, suggest changes, and determine extent of programming and coding required. Responsible for managing the development of programs from workflow charts or diagrams, considering factors such as computer storage capacity and speed, extent of peripheral equipment, and intended use of output data. Manages the process of converting workflow charts to language that can be processed by computer. Manages the process of entering program codes into computer and entering test data into computer. Manages the process of analyzing test runs on computer to correct or direct correction of coded program and input data. Revises or directs revision of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Compiles documentation of program development and subsequent revisions. Trains subordinates in programming and program coding. Prescribes standards for terms and symbols used to simplify interpretation of programs. Collaborates with computer manufacturers and other users to develop new programming methods. Prepares records and reports.

Claims Administrator

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in examining insurance claims for payment in claims division of insurance company. Ensures all claims eligible or ineligible for payment conform to quality, production standards and specifications. A bachelor's degree with four years of claims examining/auditing experience may be required to fulfill the requirements of this position.: Ensures evaluation of all claims through determination of types and amounts of benefit payable. Ensures/oversees documenting of provider claims/billing forms to support payment/decisions. Ensures claims processing is consistent with applicable policies, procedures, and department guidelines. Supervises maintenance of claims records. Reviews appeals and complaints that Examiners are unable to resolve. Analyzes and approves insurance claims. Conducts personal interviews with claimants to explain procedure for filing claims. Submits statement of claim liabilities to actuarial department for review. Informs departmental supervisors on claims status. Interprets company policy to employees and enforces company policy and practices. Reviews and analyzes processes, procedures, and workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency. Prepares regular periodic reports, and reviews/monitors system reports to ensure adherence to corporate and regulatory standards within established guidelines. May participate in the specialized training and handling of complex claim situations and projects requiring advanced claim knowledge and experience, as delegated by Claims Manager and/or Director. May recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.

Computer Network Administrator

Administers design, organization, and implementation of network, and oversees technical support staff who manage and maintain hubs, servers, and routers. Selects and enters codes of utility program to monitor database performance, such as distribution of records and amount of available memory. Directs programmers and analysts to make changes to data base management system. Reviews and corrects programs. Answers user questions. Confers with co-workers to determine impact of database changes on other systems and staff cost for making changes to database. Modifies database programs to increase processing performance, referred to as performance tuning. Workers typically specialize in one or more types of database management systems. May train users.
