Prepares and explains charges at time of check out and processes payment.: Date-stamps, sorts, and racks incoming mail and messages. Transmits and receives messages. Makes and confirms reservations. May issue escort instructions to bellhop. May keep records of room availability and guests' accounts. May post charges, such as room, food, liquor, or telephone, to ledger. May make restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservation, and arrange for tours. May deposit guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe-deposit box. May order complimentary flowers or champagne for guests. May rent dock space at marina-hotel.

Operator Front End Loader

Operates straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor-type vehicle equipped with front-mounted, hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage or processing areas, to feed conveyors, hoppers, or chutes, and to load trucks or railcars: Starts engine, shifts gears, presses pedals, and turns steering wheel to operate loader. Moves levers to lower and tilt bucket and drives front-end loader forward to force bucket into bulk material. Moves levers to raise and tilt bucket when filled, drives vehicle to work site, and moves levers to dump material. Performs routine maintenance on loader, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.

Front End Mechanic

Aligns wheels, axles, frames, torsion bars, and steering mechanisms of automotive vehicles, such as automobiles, buses, and trucks: drives automotive vehicle onto wheel alignment rack and tests vehicle for faulty wheel alignment, bent axle, worn ball joints, and bent steering rods, using alignment-testing machine. Straightens axle and steering rods and adjusts shims, tie rods, and joining pins to align wheels, or installs new parts, using handtools. Places wheel on balancing machine to determine where counterweights must be added to balance wheel. Hammers counterweights onto rim of wheel. Installs shock absorbers. Straightens frame, using hydraulic jack, chassis aligner, and acetylene torch.

Front End Developer

Creates and manages the design of the application for websites, using a creative vision and strong understanding of web navigation and information architecture. Develops, tests, edits, maintains, and documents look and flow of websites. Ensures that the data coming from the back-end development team (creation and management of application logic) gets displayed on the browser, making sure it conforms with what the customer and back-end development team intended, and that the user can navigate through it, accessing the data.: Acquires data from back-end sources, compiles markup languages and scripting languages, and links different documents. Applies knowledge of programming techniques and computer Internet systems. Utilizes skills including fluency in development tools, such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, HTTP, networking (latency, routing, distributed storage and processing, security); basic understanding of specific templating languages, such as XML/XSLT/WSDL, REST, and SOAP; some server side languages; illustrations/cartoons; basic flash animation and design; and understanding of design concepts. Develops video and audio enhancements, if desired by client. Determines if project requires creating a series of new programs or modifying existing programs that access data stored in databases. Observes display screen to detect syntax or logic errors during program test, or uses diagnostic software to detect errors. Reads manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn ways to develop programs that meet client's site requirements.

Front Desk Supervisor

Supervises the operations and staff of the Front Desk Department of a hotel or similar establishment and ensures a high level of customer service.: Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests. Issues room keys and escort instructions to Bellhop. Sorts incoming mail and messages. Transmits and receives telephone messages. Answers inquiries pertaining to the organization's services, registration of guests, and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions. Makes restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservations and arranges for tours. Ensures staff, including all new hires, are trained to meet standards and consistently follow procedures. Encourages and rewards Front Desk staff for responsive guest assistance. Communicates with other departments to fulfill guest needs. Monitors reservations made, house count, and status of guest accounts. Updates information in the computer system. Keeps lobby and desk area clean and presentable. Responds to guest requests for wake up calls, safe deposit boxes, etc. Opens and closes shift and verifies all shift work and deposits. Assists in the training and development of new Front Desk Clerks. Maintains knowledge of emergency and security procedures. Communicates with maintenance about any work needed. May act as Manager on Duty when assigned.

Front Desk Coordinator

Manages the front office operations providing support to sales professionals and customer service to clients and candidates. Assists and typically reports to the Office Administrator.: Oversees the greeting and directing of all visitors, including vendors, clients, job candidates, and customers. Ensures completion of paperwork, sign-in, and security procedures. Manages incoming phone calls using multi-line phone systems. Resolves customer questions and concerns. Coordinates meetings. Completes special administrative projects and overflow work from department and executive assistants.

Typical background for this position is advance study/knowledge in the field of computer science or software engineering along with advanced knowledge of software development and methodologies. Excludes paraprofessional positions.: Performs software and system testing procedures, bug verification, release testing, and beta support. Performs product design and programming activities involving multiple modules or subsystems. Participates in design meetings and consults with other staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system. Performs complex release testing and beta support for assigned projects and resolves problems found in the software. Prepares documentation required of the product. Analyzes and researches software requirements to determine feasibility of design and marketing requirements within time and cost constraints. May consult with customer concerning application and maintenance of software. May coordinate installation of software system. May serve as a project architect.

Safety Clothing & Equipment Developer

Designs safety clothing and equipment to protect personnel against hazards, such as fire and toxic fumes: consults with employers and technical personnel to determine safety problem involved. Designs clothing and equipment, such as suits, helmets, and gloves, incorporating such devices as mechanical breathing apparatus and communication systems to meet specific hazards. Drafts pattern of garment parts on pattern paper in full scale, using ruler, drawing instruments, and pattern blocks, and cuts material to make first pattern. Gives instructions to workers engaged in cutting material and assembling sample garment. May estimate cost of production.
