Shift Manager

Manages an assigned shift and oversees the effective utilization of employees, skills development, employee relations, production, quality, work environment, safety, policy administration, discipline, cost control, staffing, and problem solving. Assures production within established product specifications, monitors quality, and assures production of sufficient quantities to meet production schedules.: Organizes and coordinates daily work activities of personnel. Ensures operation within agreed budgets. Investigates ways to reduce waste, down time, and the manpower and effort needed to produce products without sacrificing quality. Controls labor costs by monitoring hours, overtime, schedules, breaks, wages, and attendance records of personnel. Performs operational audits. Recommends and implements equipment changes. Disseminates organization's policies and communications. Ensures a safe and efficient work environment. Reports any incidents or accidents. Supervises, evaluates, trains, disciplines, and develops subordinates.

Casino Shift Manager Assistant

Assists the Casino Shift Manager in managing an assigned shift and overseeing the effective utilization of employees, skills development, employee relations, quality, work environment, safety, policy administration, discipline, cost control, staffing, and problem solving. Coordinates casino gaming operations activities with departments to ensure total customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.: Supervises and manages attendance and time records of assigned personnel and the work processes and procedures. Organizes and coordinates daily work activities of personnel. Monitors hours, overtime, schedules, breaks, wages, and attendance records of personnel. Supervises staff to ensure accuracy of all games, appropriate game pace, and game protection. Promotes positive customer relations by answering questions, resolving disputes, calling beverage servers, and tracking players' length of play and average bets. Ensures compliance with Federal and State gaming regulations. Maintains visual presence on casino floor. Enforces corrective action against individuals caught cheating. Disseminates organization's policies and communications. Ensures a safe and efficient work environment. Checks bank roll from previous shift to ensure accuracy. Assists Casino Shift Manager in physical count of bankroll and shift change. Performs accounting and administrative tasks including fills, credits, and assigning dealers to appropriate tables. consistent and regular attendance record. Informs Casino Shift Manager of all noteworthy, suspicious, or unusual activity. Reports any incidents or accidents. Interviews and selects new employees. Supervises, evaluates, trains, disciplines, and develops subordinates.

Shift Supervisor

Supervises production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures. Ensures smooth production operation during shift.: Trains and coaches production line employees. Assumes responsibility for shift schedule, including work station assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations. Coordinates production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers. Coordinates with Human Resources for appropriate staffing levels. Schedules and conducts shift meetings. Ensures that shift production goals are met. Oversees quality control during shift. Makes adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications. Rejects product outside of specifications. Operates within standard operating procedures (SOP's) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA's). Communicates with other Shift Supervisors and Plant Manager. Ensures a clean and safe work area. Completes shift paper work. Assists in production as necessary. Conducts employee performance reviews.

Nursing Shift Supervisor

Plans, organizes, and directs activities for the duration of one shift of hospital nursing unit. Observes techniques of, and services rendered by, nursing staff or provides nursing care for patients in unit. Demonstrates techniques for nursing students and/or new personnel to provide training and direction. Requires RN license.: Identifies problem areas in nursing unit, such as understaffing, absenteeism, and wastefulness, and takes corrective action. Monitors use of supplies and equipment to avoid abuses and requisitions supplies. Responds to various departments requesting emergency assistance and assigns staff accordingly during emergencies. Prepares work schedule and assigns duties to nursing staff in unit for efficient use of personnel.

Medical Nurse Shift Supervisor
