Economic Analyst Senior

Plans, designs, and conducts research to aid in interpretation of economic relationships and in solution of problems arising from production and distribution of goods and services. Studies how society distributes scarce resources such as land, labor, raw materials, and machinery to produce goods and services. Conducts research, collects and analyzes data, monitors economic trends, and develops economic forecasts. Utilizes mathematical models to help forecast answers to economic questions. Studies economic and statistical data in area of specialization. Typically requires a master's degree in the field of economics; however, some organizations may accept equivalent education and experience combined.: Devises methods and procedures for collecting and processing data, utilizing knowledge of available sources of data and various econometric and sampling techniques. Compiles data relating to research area, such as employment, productivity, and wages and hours. Reviews and analyzes economic data in order to prepare reports detailing results of investigation, and to stay abreast of economic changes. Organizes data into report format and arranges for preparation of graphic illustrations of research findings. Formulates recommendations, policies, or plans to aid in market interpretation or solution of economic problems, such as recommending changes in methods of agricultural financing, domestic, and international monetary policies, or policies that regulate investment and transfer of capital. May supervise and assign work to staff. May testify at regulatory or legislative hearings to present recommendations.

Lobbyist Senior

Represents a major client, usually at the national level, and provides strategic policy direction, and lobbies for client's interests on issues of major importance. Contacts and confers with members of legislature and other holders of public office to persuade them to support legislation favorable to client's interest. Studies proposed legislation to determine possible effect on interest of client, who may be a person, specific group, or general public. May direct lower level lobbyists.: Confers with legislators and officials to emphasize supposed weaknesses or merits of specific bills to influence passage, defeat, or amendment of measure, or introduction of legislation more favorable to client's interests. Contacts individuals and groups having similar interests in order to encourage them also to contact legislators and present views. Prepares news releases and informational pamphlets and conducts news conferences in order to state client's views and to inform public of features of proposed legislation considered desirable or undesirable. Plans and coordinates meetings between members and elected officials to discuss legislative issues and proposals and allow officials to respond to membership concerns. May contact regulatory agencies and testify at public hearings to enlist support for client's interests. May be legally required to register with governmental authorities as lobbyist and to submit reports of regulated expenditures incurred during lobbying activities. May attend and represent local organization at state and national association meetings. May instruct individuals or organization members in lobbying techniques.

Account Executive Advertising

Promotes, plans, develops, coordinates, and directs advertising campaign for clients of advertising agency. Confers with client to determine advertising requirements and budgetary limitations, utilizing knowledge of product or service to be advertised, media capabilities, and audience characteristics. Confers with agency artists, copywriters, photographers, and other media-production specialists to select media to be used and to estimate costs. Requires a four-year college degree in a related field in addition to job related experience.: Submits proposed program and estimated budget to client for approval. Coordinates activities of workers engaged in marketing research, writing copy, laying out artwork, purchasing media time and space, developing special displays and promotional items, and performing other media-production activities, in order to carry out approved campaign.

Account Installation Specialist Associate

Administers the installation of assigned accounts under general direction including, but not limited to, structure and billing setup, eligibility collection, database loading, and preparation of plan materials, such as administrative documents and customer education materials.: Provides support to assigned accounts by responding to inquiries and resolving issues of concern. May provide guidance or expertise to less experienced representatives.

Account Installation Supervisor

Supervises a team of Account Installation Specialists/Associates responsible for administering the installation of assigned accounts including, but not limited to, structure and billing setup, eligibility collection, database loading, and preparation of plan materials, such as administrative documents and customer education materials.: Provides support to assigned accounts by responding to inquiries and resolving issues of concern, particularly those issues escalated from subordinates. Researches installation issues and develops customer-specific resolutions. Provides guidance or expertise to subordinates. Coordinates, supervises, and is accountable for the daily activities of the business support, technical, or production team or unit. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion. Coordinates work activities with other supervisors. Develops plans to meet short-term objectives. Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise, and judgment. May audit contract loads for adherence to quality measures and reporting standards.

Account Services Director

Oversees, leads, directs, and manages the account services group. Facilitates new business growth with existing clients to generate additional revenue. Manages relationships, generates revenue within client base, and provides client support at the organizational level. Partners with the account management staff in the development of strategic solutions and business development. Manages on-boarding of new business into account services team.: Coordinates with the account management staff on customer-specific items. Assumes responsibility for client retention and satisfaction. Leads in developing business from select prospects, in coordination with top management goals and objectives. Supports top management with client presentations, and collaborates with marketing on various conferences and/or presentations. Coordinates customer visits and other day-to-day activities with the account management staff. Schedules and participates in annual client reviews. Coordinates reporting needs from each group and works to deliver standard reporting instruments. Schedules and manages various in-market activities and events. Drives service and reporting standards within group for assigned accounts. Controls costs with focus on improving yield through collaboration with other internal operating teams. Assures smooth billing/invoicing process and account receivable collection. Conducts orientation sessions on-site, or via web technology for specific clients. Keeps abreast of emerging technology changes and innovations through formal or informal study, reading business and professional publications, networking, and participation in professional organizations. Utilizes superior communications skills to motivate staff and develop effective working relationships with peers, executives, and clients. Oversees and manages the professional development and productivity of staff members to ensure proper goals, training, professional development, and project requirements are met. Addresses employee performance problems in accordance with personnel policies of the organization. Coaches, trains, and mentors direct reports, and provides career development opportunities though active recruitment, training, and quality management activities. Conducts annual performance reviews for all staff within department.

Insurance & Senior Benefits Clerk

Specializes in a more complex aspect of the Benefit Clerk duties. Requires more in-depth knowledge of benefit programs, company policies, and administrative procedures than the Benefit Clerk. This is a paraprofessional job and excludes jobs whose responsibilities typically require a four-year college degree.: Researches, analyzes, and integrates data to provide information on benefits and group insurance programs and utilization. Duties may involve identifying needs for modification or changes in program design and administrative procedures. Records employee enrollment in benefits. Explains and interprets more complex aspects of company insurance programs to employees and dependents. Answers more complex questions regarding benefits, such as pension and retirement plan, and group insurance, such as life, hospitalization, and workers' compensation. Fills out application forms or verifies information on forms submitted by employees. Mails applications to insurance company. Files records of claims and fills out cancellation forms when employees leave company service. May make employee presentations on benefit programs. May correspond with or telephone physicians, hospitals, and employees regarding claims. May perform complex aspects of benefit accounting and reconciliation.

Account Information Clerk

Maintains customer accounting records. Prepares and enters charges and payments to customers' accounts for losses, additional deposits, and special and irregular charges. Investigates incorrect billings on customers' accounts and prepares instructions for correction. Prepares reports on results of investigations. Compiles information requested by customer and others pertaining to customer accounts. : Applies overpayments to charges on customers' accounts or prepares vouchers for refund. Reviews accounts not billed and prepares bill from available information. Enters information in books that was received too late for billing. Prepares lists of special billing instructions, incorporating charges shown on customers' account. Processes final bills that exceed amount of deposit to enter amount of net bill. Prepares and mails duplicate bills as requested. May interview customers and others in person or by telephone to answer inquiries and complaints pertaining to bills, customer deposits, and accounts. May specialize in handling inquiries received by mail, compiling information from customer accounting records.
