Stores and Receiving Supervisor

Plans, organizes, and coordinates the receipt, processing, storage and distribution of supplies, material and equipment for the hospital and satellite units. Monitors departmental activities to ensure effective ordering, receipt, and handling of supplies and equipment.: Supervises and oversees receiving, storage and distribution activities, including all inspections and processing of merchandise. Investigates discrepancies in shipments received and purchase orders by interfacing between departments and outside vendors. Ensures all department personnel are trained in receiving, processing, and delivering incoming shipments to ensure prompt and accurate distribution of merchandise. Processes urgent orders to ensure expeditious delivery of ordered items. Checks bills of lading for corrections and checks merchandise for damage to resolve problems and to avoid liability for damaged merchandise. Ensures that all property is safely and securely stored. Ensures that safety rules and procedures are adhered to on the premises. Provides work direction and guidance to personnel within the department and leads projects and activities, as appropriate. Supervises the ordering, storage and issuance of supplies and equipment to maintain sufficient supply levels and equipment requirements. Monitors, develops, and implements procedures to ensure that supply and equipment inventories are maintained at sufficient levels. Monitors delivery and issuance of supplies and equipment, ensuring proper distribution of merchandise. This position typically requires at least three years of experience in stores and receiving.

Stores Laborer

Receives, stores, and issues equipment, material, supplies, merchandise, foodstuffs, or tools, and compiles stock records in stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices. Stores articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information, such as style, size, or type of material. Fills orders or issues supplies from stock. Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock. Requisitions articles to fill incoming orders or inventory.: Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications. Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments. May maintain inventory and other stock records. May mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles, using labeling equipment. May distribute stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued. May make adjustments or repairs to articles carried in stock. May determine methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space. May cut stock to size to fill orders. May move or transport materials or supplies to other departments, using hand or industrial truck.

Regional Retail Store Construction Manager

Manages and oversees the construction of retail stores in an assigned region. Studies specifications to plan procedures for construction on basis of starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction, based on knowledge of available tools and equipment and various building methods.: Visits construction sites. Inspects the work of contractors. Collaborates with contractors to resolve any issues and escalates any unresolved issues. Orders store fixtures and/or furnishings. Tracks and records expenses. Reviews status reports prepared by contractors and modifies schedules or plans as required. Prepares project reports for management. Provides technical advice as needed.

In Store Greeter

Greets and acknowledges all customers entering a store. Promotes in-store programs, monitors incoming store traffic flow, and responds to customer inquiries. Answers customer questions and directs them to appropriate section of store based on their needs.: Checks incoming customer bags or directs customers with bags to customer service counter. Checks all customer receipts as customers exit the store to ensure all items on receipt are accounted for on receipts. Provides excellent customer service to all customers who enter and exit the store. Promotes in-store programs and sales. Assists in monitoring store’s compliance with company policies and procedures on theft prevention, safety, and inventory control. Promotes awareness and training in certain areas of operation. Advises management of emergency/security-related concerns and communicates potential theft and shortage control issues to Supervisor and Store Manager. Acts as a theft deterrent through physical presence acknowledging customers as they enter/exit the store. May assist in the apprehension of individuals engaged in theft activities when prevention is not effective.
