Executive Director Not for Profit Organization

Plans, develops, and establishes policies and objectives of organization in accordance with board directives and corporation charter. This is the top executive and principal organization leader in the organization. Title practices among companies vary; depending on the organization, the position may have the title of Chairman of the Board & Chief Executive Officer, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Executive Officer & President, President, General Manager, or other combinations. This position is distinguished from others in that it is the top ranking executive and, in most cases, is the highest paid executive in the organization. Reports to Board of Directors and often is a member of the board.: Responsible for the profitability of the entire organization. Confers with organization officials to plan business objectives, to develop organizational policies to coordinate functions and operations between divisions and departments, and to establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives. Reviews activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revises objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions. Directs and coordinates formulation of financial programs to provide funding for new or continuing operations to maximize returns on investments, and to increase productivity. Plans and develops industrial, labor, and public relations policies designed to improve company's image and relations with customers, employees, stockholders, and public. Evaluates performance of executives for compliance with established policies and objectives of firm and contributions in attaining objectives. May preside over Board of Directors. May serve as chairman of committees, such as management, executive, engineering, and sales.

Clinic Director Satellite

Oversees all managerial and supervisory functions in a satellite clinic, including managing fiscal, human resources, and administrative activities.: Implements all clinic policies and procedures. Manages clinic marketing and outreach, including public affairs and community relations. Oversees and directs clinical staffing plan and participates in budget process. Reviews operational costs with manager(s) and assures cost-effective and quality operations. Ensures compliance with all State and Federal regulations. Ensures security of medications, patient records, and employee records. Advises senior medical group and system leaders on administrative and operational matters. Leads special projects, committees, or task forces as requested. Participates in and coordinates resources required to carry out clinical studies. Ensures that clinical studies enroll quality subjects, are completed on time, report accurate information, and adhere with protocol. Leads teambuilding strategies, training, staff development, and staff supervision.

Manager Research & Development (Non-Technical)

Manages research and development staff and programs with improvement and cost reduction ideas and the introduction of products, processes, and services. Recommends potential of new, or ways to improve existing products, processes, and services. Research is not highly technical in nature and does not require advanced studies in engineering, science, or math. Typically reports to the Research & Development Director and has the Research & Development Supervisor reporting to this position.: Researches products, processes, and/or services of comparable competitors. Reviews and evaluates research results and makes appropriate recommendations to management. Keeps management informed on progress of projects. Develops and monitors project budgets and schedules. Controls research expenditures within approved budget limitations. Reviews and evaluates research results. Prepares reports on progress and recommends the addition, expansion, or discontinuance of projects or programs. May recruit, hire, and train department staff, evaluate staff performance, and develop goals and objectives for staff.

Staff Pharmacist Retail-Satellite

Dispenses and compounds prescribed medications, drugs, and other pharmaceuticals for patient care, according to professional standards and state and federal legal requirements in a retail or satellite pharmacy.: Reviews and monitors medication therapy and orders written by appropriate caregivers for safety and effectiveness considering specific patient conditions and health status. Prepares labels and dispenses medications for patients in accordance with physicians' prescriptions and in compliance with Federal, State and local laws and regulations pertaining to the dispensing of drugs and narcotics and the maintenance of required records. Compounds medications, using standard formulas and processes, such as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients. Maintains appropriate records of dispensing and oversees and maintains the systems that charge or credit for medications and medication treatments. Supervises pharmacy workers who assist in mixing, packaging, labeling and dispensing pharmaceuticals. Answers questions and provides information to pharmacy customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage and storage of pharmaceuticals. Maintains established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs. Provides drug information and educates caregivers and patients regarding medications and their proper use and monitoring. Monitors all aspects of the medication process, collects data and presents reports and recommendations regarding issues with medication systems. Ensures that proper documentation is completed for all medications, with particular attention on controlled substances. Maintains all equipment and systems used in the preparation, oversight and dispensing of medications. Ensures that appropriate medications are available, ordered, prepared, stored and maintained. This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and certification or completion of an accredited clinical residency program. A current license is also required. May analyze medications to determine identity, purity, and strength.

Respiratory Therapy Supervisor Non-RRT

Supervises, performs, evaluates and coordinates diagnostic and therapeutic clinical respiratory care procedures. Performs all duties and responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist by assuming responsibility for all respiratory care therapeutic treatments and diagnostic procedures, including the supervision of respiratory therapy technicians. Requires completion of a two-year, accredited, entry-level respiratory therapy program, certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care, and three years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist. This position is not a Registered Respiratory Therapist.: Coordinates all emergency responses and develops clinical care protocols. Evaluates patient care plans and performs assessment of endotracheal tube placement. Provides orientation, education, and training as needed to Respiratory Services staff. Reviews performance of all staff members and develops performance plans and professional goals. Instructs and supervises patient and therapeutic assessments to assure optimal medical decisions. Monitors adherence to policy, procedures, and practice guidelines. Assists with departmental clinical research projects. Maintains appropriate supply inventory. Provides input into applicant hiring and termination decisions. Inspects and tests respiratory therapy equipment to ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently. Demonstrates respiratory care procedures to trainees and other health care personnel.

Cardiologist (Non-Invasive)

Diagnoses and treats diseases of heart and its functions. Examines patient for symptoms indicative of heart disorders, using medical instruments and equipment. Studies diagnostic images and electrocardiograph recordings to aid in making diagnoses.: Prescribes medications and recommends dietary and activity program as indicated. Refers patient to Surgeon specializing in cardiac cases when need for corrective surgery is indicated. May engage in research to study anatomy of and diseases peculiar to heart.

Satellite Instruction Facilitator

Monitors training programs transmitted by communication satellite from institution of higher learning to remote educational institution or facility: registers students for satellite communication courses and sells and distributes textbooks and other classroom materials. Activates audiovisual receiver and monitors classroom viewing of live or recorded courses transmitted by communication satellite. Stimulates classroom discussion immediately after broadcast, following standardized format. Monitors live seminar transmittals from institute of higher learning, elicits responses from classroom students, and consolidates and transmits students' questions by teletype or telephone to seminar participants for direct response via satellite. Distributes homework assignments and test blanks to students. Collects completed assignments and tests and mails them to institute of higher learning. Maintains class attendance records.

Processes new and prospective agents' licensing, certification, or bonding applications and forms to ensure conformance with regulations of state insurance commissions and bonding companies: prepares or reviews licensing applications and other forms for completeness and accuracy, in accordance with insurance commission or bonding company requirements. Mails applications, documents, and fees to authorities and arranges appointments for examinations. Notifies company officials of applicants' acceptance or rejection. Maintains files of correspondence, records, and reports. May compile, type, and mail to field offices changes to approved lists of medical examiners.

Antenna Installer Satellite Communications

Installs, tests, and repairs antennas and related equipment that receive communication satellite signals, following specifications and using handtools and test instruments: reviews installation specifications, building permit, manufacturer's instructions, and government ordinances to determine installation site for antenna. Measures distance from landmarks to identify exact site location. Visually inspects installation site to identify obstructions, such as trees or buildings, that could distort or block microwave signals from satellite. Discusses site location and construction requirements with customer. Digs hole for footing to support antenna base, using gasoline-powered auger, posthole digger, or shovel. Assembles and installs prefabricated form in hole to cast concrete base, using handtools, plumb rule, and level, following specifications. Mixes, pours, and finishes concrete, using concrete mixer, trowel, and float. Inserts pedestal mounting bolts in wet concrete. Digs trench and lays underground cable to connect antenna base to source of power in customer's building. Attaches antenna base to footing after concrete dries, using handtools. Assembles and attaches electronic and structural components of antenna, with co-worker, applying knowledge of electronics and electricity, following installation guidelines, and using handtools. Attaches antenna to base, using nuts, bolts, and handtools. Climbs ladder to install antenna when area is inaccessible from ground. Orients antenna to direction and altitude of communication satellite, using surveying instruments and following.
