The Sales Representative (General) level is distinguished by products or services that do not require scientific training or knowledge and success is more dependent on sales ability.: Develops new accounts. May coordinate company technical engineering support and services to ascertain customers' needs.

Field Representatives Director

Administers educational and job training programs for veterans of armed services, as established by government regulations, and directs activities of field representatives: develops and presents reports concerning activities, expenses, budget, new or revised government statutes and rulings, and other items affecting program. Evaluates curriculums, and reviews and approves or rejects applications of schools, establishments, or individuals offering educational or training facilities. Determines eligibility of veterans to receive education or training. Confers with government agencies on problems and other matters relating to program. Interprets regulatory or administrative decisions to execute legal requirements, establishes guides for making decisions in field, and assigns work load to subordinates.

Top Government Sales Executive

Directs activities, either directly or through subordinates, concerned with contracts for government sales of equipment, materials, products, or services. This position is the highest government sales executive and, depending on organization, Governments Sales Managers may report to this position.: Negotiates contracts with government. Reviews and authorizes bids, process specifications, test and progress reports, and other exhibits that may be required. Requests or approves amendments to or extensions of contracts. Advises planning and production departments of contractual rights and obligations. Examines estimates of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy. Plans, develops, establishes, and implements policies and procedures in accordance with objectives of organization. May act as liaison between company and subcontractors. May recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.

Sales Associate For Wireless Sales

Sells new wireless products and services. Assists new and existing customers with the purchase of wireless equipment and services. Presents products and services to prospective customers through demonstrations and development of wireless communications solutions.: Prospects and generates new sales opportunities. Conducts all required processes and procedures to implement new service upon completion of sale. Initiates follow-up contact with customers to ensure complete satisfaction with all products and services purchased. Participates in the development and execution of promotional activities. Government Sales Manager

Develops and controls program for government sales of equipment, materials, products, or services. Establishes effective business contacts with government agencies to establish volume potential, price schedules, discount rates, and shipping schedules. Negotiates contracts with government, and requests amendments to or extensions of contracts within authorized limits. Assigns sales territory to sales personnel. Typically reports to a director and may have supervisors reporting to this position.: Prepares bids, process specifications, test and progress reports, and other exhibits that may be required. Examines estimates of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy. Coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals, and advises dealers and distributors concerning sales advertising techniques. Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and to assist dealers in promoting sales. Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and develops sales campaigns to accommodate goals of company. Directs product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line. Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume and potential sales. May analyze and control expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements. May advise planning and production departments of contractual rights and obligations. May act as liaison between company and subcontractors. May recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.

Government Sales Supervisor

Supervises and coordinates activities of employees engaged in activities concerned with contracts for government sales of equipment, materials, products, or services. Examines estimates of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy. This position typically reports to a manager and is the first line supervisory position with responsibilities for assigned areas.: Prepares bids, process specifications, test and progress reports, and other exhibits that may be required. Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists employees in solving work problems. Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring work activities, such as preparation of records of expenditures, sales goals, progress reports, etc., in order to inform management of current status of activities. Within authorized limits, negotiates contracts with government. Requests amendments to or extensions of contracts. Ensures the motivation, training, development, and evaluation of sales representatives. May advise planning and production departments of contractual rights and obligations. May compile data for preparing estimates. May coordinate work of sales department with production and shipping department to implement fulfillment of contracts. May act as liaison between company and subcontractors.

Radio & TV Sales Representative

Contacts prospective customers to sell radio and television time or captioning services for broadcasting station, network, or cable television franchise. : Calls on prospects and presents outlines of various programs or commercial announcements. Discusses current popularity of various types of programs, such as news, drama, and variety. Visits prospective customer's location. May arrange for and accompany prospect to commercial taping sessions. May prepare promotional plans, sales literature, and sales contracts.

Technical Sales Medical

Sells medical equipment and supplies, except drugs and medicines, to doctors, dentists, hospitals, medical schools, and retail establishments. : Studies data describing new products to develop sales approach. Compiles data on equipment and supplies preferred by customers. Advises customers of equipment for given need based on technical knowledge of products. Provides customers with advice in such areas as office layout, legal and insurance regulations, cost analysis, and collection methods to develop goodwill and promote sales.

Sales Representative Aircraft

Sells aircraft to individuals and to business and industrial establishments. Discusses suitability of different types of aircraft to meet customer's requirements. Demonstrates aircraft in flight, stressing maneuverability, safety factors, and ease of handling.: Verifies customer's credit rating. Prepares contracts for plane storage and maintenance service. May pilot aircraft during demonstrations and be required to have private pilot's license issued by Federal Aviation Administration. May appraise aircraft traded in on new plane. May rent aircraft to customers.
