Banking Head of Retail Banking

Directs and coordinates, through subordinate managerial personnel, activities of retail consumer products and services division. Scope of responsibilities typically include new accounts, branch operations, customer service, marketing, personal banking, private banking, and tellers. Retail Area Manager

Manages operations of retail stores in assigned geographic area. Supervises Store Managers. Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring store activities, such as sales, expenditures, progress reports, etc., in order to inform management of current status of store activities. The next organization level above the Area Manager is typically a District or Zone Manager. NOTE--ERI's findings based on sales volume.: Interprets company policy to employees and enforces safety regulations. Recruits, hires, and trains store managers to operate store according to corporate policies. Analyzes store budgets to identify needs and/or reductions, and may allocate operating budgets funds. Monitors cash flow, sales performance, inventory control, cash with sales receipts, and operating records. Ensures compliance with established security, sales, and record keeping procedures and practices. May recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action. May formulate pricing policies to ensure profitability. May coordinate sales promotion activities and prepare, or supervise preparation of, merchandise displays and advertising copy. May answer customers' complaints or inquiries.

Retail Store Manager (Revenue)

Manages daily operations of a retail store engaged in selling specific lines of merchandise, such as groceries, meat, liquor, apparel, jewelry, or furniture; related lines of merchandise, such as radios, televisions, and household appliances; or general lines of merchandise. Formulates pricing policies to ensure profitability of store operations. Coordinates sales promotion activities and prepares or supervises preparation of merchandise displays and advertising copy. Performs and/or supervises employees engaged in taking of and controlling inventories, reconciling cash with sales receipts, keeping operating records, or preparing daily records of transactions. Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties. Typically the next organization level is an Area Manager and supervisors report to this position. Ensures compliance of employees with established security, sales, and record keeping procedures and practices. Typically accountable for controllable expenses, cash management, merchandising, and loss prevention. May hire and train store personnel and maintain employee relations.

Zone/District Retail Manager

Manages operations of retail stores in assigned district or zone. Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring area and store activities, such as sales, expenditures, progress reports, etc., in order to inform management of current status of store activities. Typically this job oversees Area Managers; the next level in the organization above this job is a Regional Manager. NOTE--ERI's findings based on sales volume.: Interprets company policy to Area Managers and Store Managers. Analyzes area budgets to identify needs and/or reductions, and may allocate operating budgets funds. Formulates pricing policies on merchandise according to requirements for profitability of store operations. May recruit, hire, and train Area and Store Managers, evaluate performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action. May coordinate sales promotion activities. May answer customers' complaints or inquiries.

Regional Sales Manager Retail

Oversees operations of retail stores in assigned region. Manages the strategic direction of stores within the assigned region, within broad company objectives. Develops and implements short- and long-term marketing plans for sales growth. Typically this job oversees Zone or District Managers; the next level in the organization above this job is typically a Division Vice President or General Manager. NOTE--ERI's findings based on sales volume.: Monitors profit and loss and maximizes return on investment. Stimulates, motivates, and develops employees for future growth. May recruit, hire, train, evaluate Zone/District Managers' performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.

Retail Store Assistant Manager (Revenue)

Assists in managing daily operations of a retail store. Performs a variety of duties personally and/or supervises employees performing duties. Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties. Prepares or directs workers preparing merchandise displays and advertising copy. Performs sales work, takes inventories, reconciles cash with sales receipts, keeps operating records, and/or prepares daily record of transactions. Sales Executive Technical Sales

Directs activities, either directly or through subordinates, concerned with sales of products or services of a highly complex nature. Plans, develops, establishes, and implements policies, procedures, and objectives of technical sales function in accordance with objectives of organization. Confers with organization officials to plan technical sales objectives, to develop sales policies, and to coordinate functions. Develops and maintains accounts and responds to bids and proposals. Targets and develops clients through existing database and contacts, advertising resources, and the Internet. Meets with clients to evaluate their technical needs and to recommend and provide consulting solutions.: Analyzes and interprets records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred for management. Examines estimates of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy. Evaluates the market position of competing technical products, services, and organizations and their marketing and sales techniques. Devises sales strategies and promotions to obtain maximum sales volume. Forecasts semi-annual and annual sales projections. Directs preparation of required reports. Interprets and enforces company policy and practices. Ensures the adequacy of sales training programs. May recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.

Sales Associate For Wireless Sales

Sells new wireless products and services. Assists new and existing customers with the purchase of wireless equipment and services. Presents products and services to prospective customers through demonstrations and development of wireless communications solutions.: Prospects and generates new sales opportunities. Conducts all required processes and procedures to implement new service upon completion of sale. Initiates follow-up contact with customers to ensure complete satisfaction with all products and services purchased. Participates in the development and execution of promotional activities. Responds to customer inquiries, needs, and/or problems, which may include account research, explanation of equipment operation, and execution of warranty claims. Stays current with changes and developments in the wireless industry.

Buyer Assistant (Retail)

Performs following duties in connection with purchase and sale of merchandise to aid buyer: verifies quantity and quality of stock received from manufacturer. Authorizes payment of invoices or return of shipment. Approves advertising copy for newspaper. Gives markers information, such as price mark-ups or mark-downs, manufacturer number, season code, and style number to print on price tickets. Inspects exchanged or refunded merchandise. May sell merchandise to become familiar with customers' attitudes, preferences, and purchasing problems.

Stock Clerk Retail

Inventories, stores, prices, and restocks merchandise displays in retail store. Stocks storage areas and displays with new or transferred merchandise. Sets up advertising signs and displays merchandise on shelves, counters, or tables to attract customers and promote sales. Cleans display cases, shelves, and aisles.: Takes inventory or examines merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished. Requisitions merchandise from supplier based on available space, merchandise on hand, customer demand, or advertised specials. Receives, opens, and unpacks cartons or crates of merchandise, checking invoice against items received. May pack customer purchases in bags or cartons. May transport packages to specified vehicle for customer. May itemize and total customer merchandise selection at check out counter, using cash register, and accept cash or charge card for purchases.
