Vice President Division

Directs and coordinates activities of major division of business organization and aids Executive Vice President or Chief Administrative Officer in formulating and administering organization policies. Typically reports to Executive Vice President or President.: Participates in formulating and administering division policies and developing long-range goals and objectives. Directs and coordinates activities of division for which responsibility is delegated to further attainment of goals and objectives. Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecasts data to determine division progress toward stated goals and objectives. Confers with other executives and administrative personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions. May serve as member of management committees on special studies.

Chief Fishery Division

Directs state fish conservation program for benefit of sport and commercial fishing interests, consistent with state policy and accepted principles of game management: directs activities of personnel engaged in conducting fish count, managing hatcheries, stocking streams, destroying superfluous or undesirable fish, and enforcing restrictions governing sport and commercial fishing. Modifies regulations on size, species, length of fishing season, acceptable fishing practices, and other considerations according to fluctuations in fish population. Organizes programs to correct unfavorable conditions, such as water pollution, silting of streams, excessive mortality of given species of fish, and diversion of waterways. Delivers speeches, writes articles, and prepares other informational material to explain conservation principles and acquaint public with fishing regulations. Recommends changes in legislation and administrative procedures as necessary to maintain conservation activities consistent with current needs. Prepares or directs preparation of budget requests covering staff and equipment requirements.

Manager Division

Manages the operational and fiscal activities of a division to include staffing levels, budgets, and financial goals. Directs and monitors daily operations to ensure that policies and procedures are being followed, goals and objectives are being met, and services and assignments are being accomplished efficiently and effectively. Plans and develops systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the division. Analyzes and documents business processes and problems. Develops solutions to enhance efficiencies. Coordinates and implements solutions from process analysis and general division projects.: Directs staff in the development, analysis, and preparation of reports. Supervises staff in accordance with company policies and procedures. Conducts interviews, hires new staff, and provides employee orientation. Coaches and provides career development advice to staff. Establishes employee goals and conducts employee performance reviews. Schedules staff activities, which include work assignments, employee training, employee vacations, overtime assignment, and back-up for absent employees. Assists staff to resolve complex or out of policy operation problems. Schedules and conducts department meetings. Develops strategic planning and monitoring of the division's budget. Oversees financial well-being of the division by analyzing cost effectiveness and directing cost control activities. Prepares, submits, and justifies budget and budget enhancement requests to the Director. Meets division productivity and quality goals.

Division Manager Chamber of Commerce

Directs and administers activities of department of chamber of commerce, such as domestic trade, construction industries, or aviation and space departments: analyzes market trends and economic conditions to forecast potential sales of products or services in area. Assists business and industrial organizations on such problems as expansions, cost reductions, and community development. Advises business organizations and industrial groups on tax problems and legislation. Studies agricultural economy for exploitation of rural resources, production and marketing of farm products, improving farm income, and effecting favorable agricultural legislation. Suggests civic improvements, such as community zoning, planning, public housing programs, and airport expansions, based on surveys of community needs. Plans and directs educational campaigns to promote public support of such community programs as housing, transportation, and hospital facilities. Stimulates civic and economic growth of community by writing and giving speeches to promote tourist travel, to solicit convention business, and to induce labor and industry to immigrate into area. May represent chamber at public, social and business receptions, or before governmental agencies. May be designated according to field of specialization or department managed as manager, aviation and space; manager, construction industries; manager, domestic trade.

Sales Executive Technical Sales

Directs activities, either directly or through subordinates, concerned with sales of products or services of a highly complex nature. Plans, develops, establishes, and implements policies, procedures, and objectives of technical sales function in accordance with objectives of organization. Confers with organization officials to plan technical sales objectives, to develop sales policies, and to coordinate functions. Develops and maintains accounts and responds to bids and proposals. Targets and develops clients through existing database and contacts, advertising resources, and the Internet. Meets with clients to evaluate their technical needs and to recommend and provide consulting solutions.: Analyzes and interprets records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred for management. Examines estimates of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy. Evaluates the market position of competing technical products, services, and organizations and their marketing and sales techniques. Devises sales strategies and promotions to obtain maximum sales volume. Forecasts semi-annual and annual sales projections. Directs preparation of required reports. Interprets and enforces company policy and practices. Ensures the adequacy of sales training programs. May recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.

Commanding Officer Investigation Division

Directs and coordinates activities of squad of law enforcement personnel engaged in investigating establishments and persons suspected of violating laws concerning gambling, liquor, narcotics, and prostitution: conducts raids upon suspect establishments and directs arrest of persons involved. Directs persons engaged in collection of evidence to be used in prosecuting arrested suspects. Evaluates work performance of immediate subordinates. May train subordinates newly assigned to investigation division in performance of duties. May prepare and maintain various activity and personnel reports and records. May maintain budget of money to be utilized in purchasing of narcotics from sellers to effect arrest. May be designated according to rank of officer in charge as district lieutenant; investigation division captain; investigation division lieutenant; investigation division sergeant.

Sales Associate For Wireless Sales

Sells new wireless products and services. Assists new and existing customers with the purchase of wireless equipment and services. Presents products and services to prospective customers through demonstrations and development of wireless communications solutions.: Prospects and generates new sales opportunities. Conducts all required processes and procedures to implement new service upon completion of sale. Initiates follow-up contact with customers to ensure complete satisfaction with all products and services purchased. Participates in the development and execution of promotional activities. Responds to customer inquiries, needs, and/or problems, which may include account research, explanation of equipment operation, and execution of warranty claims.
