Provides product management and marketing support in accordance with the strategy developed by the Product Manager. Assists in managing the research and development staff and programs with improvement and cost reduction ideas and the introduction of products, processes, and services. Assists in the development of the marketing plan of the product, processes, and services. Recommends potential of new, or ways to improve existing, products, processes, and services.: Researches products, processes, and/or services of comparable competitors. Reviews and evaluates research results and makes appropriate recommendations to management. Tracks and evaluates product performance. Manages individual product-focused projects (prioritization of engineering work, product definitions, etc.) and inventory management and control in conjunction with operations. Develops and recommends specific marketing objectives and forecast for products or processes. Manages the execution of authorized marketing programs to achieve or exceed sales volume and profit margin requirements. Keeps up-to-date in new developments in the field. Analyzes and reports data patterns which affect the marketing of the products, processes, or services. Makes recommendations to enhance the functionality and profitability of the products, processes, or services. Keeps management informed of product updates and on progress of projects. Develops and monitors project budgets and schedules. Controls research expenditures within approved budget limitations. Reviews and evaluates research results. Prepares reports on progress and recommends the addition, expansion, or discontinuance of projects or programs. Develops and maintains relationships with management and sales representatives. May manage activities that are directly related to the product, including sales and customer support. May recruit, hire, and train department staff, evaluate staff performance, and develop goals and objectives for staff.7

Meets with clients to evaluate their technical needs and to recommend and provide consulting solutions.: Analyzes and interprets records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred for management. Examines estimates of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy. Evaluates the market position of competing technical products, services, and organizations and their marketing and sales techniques. Devises sales strategies and promotions to obtain maximum sales volume. Forecasts semi-annual and annual sales projections. Directs preparation of required reports. Interprets and enforces company policy and practices. Ensures the adequacy of sales training programs. May recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.
Sells new wireless products and services. Assists new and existing customers with the purchase of wireless equipment and services. Presents products and services to prospective customers through demonstrations and development of wireless communications solutions.: Prospects and generates new sales opportunities. Conducts all required processes and procedures to implement new service upon completion of sale. Initiates follow-up contact with customers to ensure complete satisfaction with all products and services purchased. Participates in the development and execution of promotional activities. Responds to customer inquiries, needs, and/or problems, which may include account research, explanation of equipment operation, and execution of warranty claims. Stays current with changes and developments in the wireless industry.
Administers the installation of assigned accounts under general direction including, but not limited to, structure and billing setup, eligibility collection, database loading, and preparation of plan materials, such as administrative documents and customer education materials.: Provides support to assigned accounts by responding to inquiries and resolving issues of concern. May provide guidance or expertise to less experienced representatives.
Provides technical and clerical assistance to facilitate effective and efficient operation of the provider credentialing function.: Coordinates and performs enrollment of assigned providers and physicians in appropriate health plans to ensure satisfaction of the health plan requirement for acceptance. Reviews and processes provider applications and determines eligibility by applying NCQA, JCAHO and URAC standards as related to the network. Performs primary source verification for initial and re-credentialing of assigned providers utilizing NCQA and other federal and state regulatory requirements. Analyzes and resolves basic provider issues relative to credentialing, enrollment, billing and payers. Communicates with providers regarding credentialing status and information. Creates and maintains participating provider or practitioner credentialing files. Reviews and analyzes provider file changes. Creates practitioner profiles for re-credentialed practitioners. Prepares and sends application packets to participating providers and facility applicants, requesting the return of basic credentialing information. Reviews applications for completeness and assists the applicant in completing the application. Prepares routine credentialing reports. This position typically requires a experience sufficient to provide a working knowledge of NCQA and JCAHO.
Assists in compiling, analyzing and interpreting financial information for management decision-making. Assists organization with financial functions, such as assessing, auditing, planning, budgeting, taxes, consolidation, cost control, and project control. Analyzes past and present financial data of organization and estimates future revenues and expenditures, applying principles of finance. Assists in the compilation of the annual plan capital budget, monthly forecast capital expenditures updates, and the long-range plan capital expenditure projections. Analyzes capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit plans, operating records, financial statements, etc. Analyzes the financial projections for monthly income estimate forecasts, annual and long-range plans, and special studies using integrated financial software.: Generates the monthly income estimate and operating reports including written commentary and analysis of variances. Performs other ad-hoc financial studies such as lease versus purchase, internal rate of return, etc. Assists in accounting for all assigned financial transactions in an effective and efficient manner by gathering, analyzing, classifying, and recording financial data. Summarizes financial data through the preparation of reports, schedules, statements, invoices, and filings, including rate filings. Analyzes accounts and financial results by developing an understanding of assigned financial and related business transaction flows, including supporting electronic data processing systems. Maintains accurate financial and accounting records which are in compliance with applicable company policies.
Performs assigned duties, under direction of experienced personnel, to gain knowledge and experience required for promotion to management positions. Receives training and performs duties in several departments, such as credit, customer relations, accounting, or sales, to become familiar with line and staff functions, operations, management viewpoints, and company policies and practices that affect each phase of business. : Observes experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental duties. Workers are usually trained in functions and operations of related departments to facilitate subsequent transferability between departments and to provide greater promotional opportunities. Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in commercial or industrial establishments, following specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings, using hand tools, power tools, hoist, crane, and measuring and testing instruments. : Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment, using electrical and electronic test equipment. Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction, and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine. Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints, using precision measuring instruments and hand tools. Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery, using rags, brushes, and grease gun. Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment. May operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. May fabricate and repair counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
Controls and extinguishes fires, protects life and property, and maintains equipment as volunteer or employee of city, township, or industrial plant: responds to fire alarms and other emergency calls. Selects hose nozzle, depending on type of fire, and directs stream of water or chemicals onto fire. Positions and climbs ladders to gain access to upper levels of buildings or to assist individuals from burning structures. Creates openings in buildings for ventilation or entrance, using ax, chisel, crowbar, electric saw, core cutter, and other power equipment. Protects property from water and smoke by use of waterproof salvage covers, smoke ejectors, and deodorants. Administers first aid and artificial respiration to injured persons and those overcome by fire and smoke. Communicates with superior during fire, using portable two-way radio. Inspects buildings for fire hazards and compliance with fire prevention ordinances. Performs assigned duties in maintaining apparatus, quarters, buildings, equipment, grounds, and hydrants. Participates in drills, demonstrations, and courses in hydraulics, pump operation and maintenance, and firefighting techniques. May fill fire extinguishers in institutions or industrial plants. May issue forms to building owners, listing fire regulation violations to be corrected. May drive and operate firefighting vehicles and equipment. May be assigned duty in marine division of fire department and be designated firefighter, marine.
