Directs activities, either directly or through subordinates, concerned with sales of products or services of a highly complex nature. Plans, develops, establishes, and implements policies, procedures, and objectives of technical sales function in accordance with objectives of organization. Confers with organization officials to plan technical sales objectives, to develop sales policies, and to coordinate functions. Develops and maintains accounts and responds to bids and proposals. Targets and develops clients through existing database and contacts, advertising resources, and the Internet. Meets with clients to evaluate their technical needs and to recommend and provide consulting solutions.: Analyzes and interprets records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred for management. Examines estimates of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy. Evaluates the market position of competing technical products, services, and organizations and their marketing and sales techniques. Devises sales strategies and promotions to obtain maximum sales volume. Forecasts semi-annual and annual sales projections. Directs preparation of required reports. Interprets and enforces company policy and practices. Ensures the adequacy of sales training programs. Sales Associate For Wireless Sales

Sells new wireless products and services. Assists new and existing customers with the purchase of wireless equipment and services. Presents products and services to prospective customers through demonstrations and development of wireless communications solutions.: Prospects and generates new sales opportunities. Conducts all required processes and procedures to implement new service upon completion of sale. Initiates follow-up contact with customers to ensure complete satisfaction with all products and services purchased. Participates in the development and execution of promotional activities. Responds to customer inquiries, needs, and/or problems, which may include account research, explanation of equipment operation, and execution of warranty claims. Sales Representative (Semi-Technical Products)

Sells company products or services in assigned area or territory. This level of Sales Representative is distinguished by products or services of greater complexity that require more specialized knowledge, along with sales ability to be successful as compared to a lower-level Sales Representative. To carry out responsibilities at this level typically requires a college degree or equivalent. The knowledge level is such that in hiring a replacement, candidates would require either previous experience as a Sales Representative or extended knowledge and training related to the product or service prior to being able to call upon customers.: Communicates directly with new and existing customers or clients to explain features and merits of products or services offered. Develops new accounts. Demonstrates products or services and provides assistance in the best application of products or services. Answers all questions concerning a product or service, with appropriate referrals where required. Closes transactions and takes orders. Submits time and expense reports to management. Investigates product or service warranty claims to ensure resolution within organization policies. Analyzes and interprets records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred for management. Calculates and quotes prices. May coordinate company technical engineering support and services to ascertain customers' needs.

Sales Order Manager

Manages writing or preparation of orders, pricing orders and furnishing price quotations to customers, obtaining credit approvals, maintaining records and files of orders received and filled, and receipt of orders for material, merchandise, and/or services. Manages the preparation of customer statements, bills and invoices, obtaining information from purchase orders, sales, and charge slips. Typically reports to a director and may have sales order supervisors reporting to this position.: Interprets company policy to employees and enforces company policy and practices. Manages planning of departmental operations, developing methods, authorizing overtime and controlling costs. Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring work activities, such as preparation of records of expenditures and progress reports, in order to inform management of current status or work activities. Sales Order Supervisor

Supervises and coordinates activities of personnel receiving customer purchasing orders for products, merchandise, and services by telephone, mail, or in person. Supervises preparation of orders, pricing, and quotations to customers. Supervises preparation of customers' bills and invoices and reconciliation with accounts receivable ledgers. Typically reports to a Sales Order Manager level position.: Monitors order-taking personnel to evaluate order-taking performance and to assist in responding to customer inquiries and complaints. Consults with sales, technical, shipping, or administrative staff and telephones or writes letters to answer or advise customer. Reviews completed orders for errors or omissions. Directs and coordinates activities of sales training for an organization. Typically reports to a top officer and the Manager Sales Training reports to this position.: Develops materials. Conducts training sessions to present and discuss sales techniques, ethics, and methods of maintaining sales quotas. Accompanies sales agents and clients to observe sales methods utilized, and counsels regarding matters, such as professionalism, financing, and sales closings.

May compile data for preparing estimates. May coordinate work of sales department with production and shipping department to implement fulfillment of contracts. May act as liaison between company and subcontractors.
