Chief Advertising Officer

Counsels and coordinates all organization divisions as to means of obtaining maximum advertising effectiveness in creating consumer demand. Aids marketing personnel in all divisions in developing marketing plans, and in the creation of advertising themes, development of programs, and selection of media. Typically reports to the Marketing and Sales Top Officer and has Advertising Director reporting to this position.: Counsels and coordinates packaging and graphics for all products in all divisions. Advertising Agency President

Oversees, directs, and coordinates the overall administration and all activities of an advertising agency. Formulates plans to extend business with established accounts. Promotes solicitation of new accounts. Plans and executes advertising policies of the organization. Directs subordinate managerial personnel who are engaged in developing and producing advertisements for clients. Creates or directs the creation of media to further the goals of the organization or clients. Confers with department heads to discuss possible new accounts and to outline new policies or sales promotion campaigns. Directs research activities concerned with gathering information or with compilation of statistics pertinent to planning and execution of advertising sales promotion campaign. Conducts meetings with agency personnel to outline and initiate new advertising policies or procedures. May authorize information for publication, such as interviews with reporters or articles describing phases of establishment activity. May serve as establishment representative for geographical district or department. May transact business as agent for advertising accounts. May direct preparation of special promotional features. May monitor and analyze sales promotion results to determine cost effectiveness of promotion campaign.

Advertising & Public Relations Manager

Plans and executes all aspects of a wide variety of an organization's special events, promotions, and activities as well as media and community relations projects. Works with media personnel, illustrators, photographers, advertising agencies, and Sales Promotion and Marketing Departments to promote products and concepts of the organization through various advertising media and publications. Assumes an active role in community relations. Plans and implements advertising and public relations programs designed to increase business and to create and maintain favorable public image for the organization. Collaborates with organization's management team on strategies and plans to develop and execute organization events.: Reviews and approves media presentations. Tracks and manages research activities concerned with gathering information or statistics pertinent to planning and execution of sales promotion campaigns. Manages and administers the presentation and representation of the organization to employees, the general public, customers, and shareholders. Develops and produces publications, brochures, and press releases and articles to define the corporate identity to employees, customers, and the broader community. Directs or participates in the writing, editing, and publishing of organization advertisements and publications. Organizes and carries out events to promote employee morale and community goodwill, such as speeches, tours, exhibits, etc. Manages the flow of information to and from the press and other communications agencies. Cultivates and maintains relationships with editors, reporters, partners, customers, and investors.

Data Entry Supervisor

Supervises data entry operators engaged in inputting data into various storage media, manipulating existing data, editing data, and proofing new entries into database for accuracy. Interprets company policy to employees and enforces company policies and practices. Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists employees in solving work problems. Ensures work is performed within established policies, procedures, and standards.: Consults with data processing personnel on ways to expedite workflow and improve productivity. Confers with user departments to implement controls and schedules and resolve delivery problems. Advises management on problems relating to data entry. Responsible for data entry improvements in quality and efficiency. Compiles, sorts, and verifies accuracy of data to be entered. May recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.

Data Entry Operator Lead

Guides data entry operators in the data entry process and in solving work problems. Operates computer or other data entry device to enter data in computer-readable format. Inputs accounting or statistical data from source documents into computer, using data entry device, such as keyboard or optical scanner, and following format displayed on screen.: Compares data entered with source documents, or re-enters data in verification format on screen to detect errors. Deletes incorrectly entered data, and re-enters correct data. Keeps record of work completed. Compiles, sorts, and verifies accuracy of data to be entered. May assist in role of group leader as required.

Leasing Agent Outdoor Advertising

Obtains leases to sites for outdoor advertising: persuades property owners to lease sites for erection of billboard signs used in outdoor advertising. Arranges price and draws up lease. May locate potential billboard sites, using automobile to travel through assigned district. May search legal records for land ownership.

Level Glass Forming Machine Operator

Tends battery of automatic machines that flame-cut and form vials for level from glass tubing: inserts tubing in holder to feed machine. Replenishes tubing and replaces fill catch boxes. Examines formed glasses for defects, such as unclosed bottoms, elongated tops or misshapen vials, and notifies machine adjuster of machine malfunctioning. Removes formed glasses to workbench and files points from glasses to leave opening for filling, using half-round file.

Level Glass Vial Filler

Tends equipment that fills glass vials with alcohol or ether solution and leaves air bubble to form vials used in tools and instruments to determine levelness: fills rack with vial-filled cups and lowers rack into tank of solution. Lowers weighted glass cover and moves lever to turn on air pressure. Sets timer for designated time cycle. Shuts off air and raises cover when bell rings. Compares bubbles in random sampling of filled vials with master vial for conformance to size. Refills vials or lets vials stand to evaporate excess fluid to regulate size of bubble. Pours solution from jug into tank to replace used fluid.

Clerk Advertising

Performs a variety of clerical and administrative support activities in an advertising organization. Reviews orders received from advertising agency or client to determine specifications. Compiles advertising orders, determines cost of advertisement based on size, date, position, number of insertions, and other requirements. Operates computer to enter and retrieve cost and order data. Types and mails order and specifications to designated publishers. Maintains records.: Compiles advertising orders for submission to publishers and verifies conformance of published advertisements to specifications, for billing purposes. Computes cost of advertisement, based on size, date, position, number of insertions, and other requirements. Posts cost data into computer system or worksheet. Types and mails order and specifications to designated publishers. Files order data pending receipt of publication. Scans publication to locate published advertisement. Measures advertisement, using ruler or transparent calibrated overlay, to verify conformance to size specifications. Compares advertisement with order to verify conformance to other specifications. Computes difference in cost when published advertisement varies from specifications and posts corrected costs on order controls.

Dividend Deposit Entry Clerk

Keeps record of accruing dividends on insurance policies and calculates and records interest due on them, using adding machine, calculator, statistical manuals, and rate tables.
