Manages all SEC external reporting requirements including preparation and filing of Form 10-K, 10-Q, Form 8-K, Proxy Statement, and other periodic governmental reports. Prepares and reviews SEC financial reporting and research, and handles accounting issues related to debt and equity accounting. User Support Analyst Supervisor

Supervises and coordinates activities of employees engaged in interpreting problems, providing assistance, problem-solving support, and advising computer user related to hardware, software, and systems. Assists User Support Analyst in solving non-routine software, hardware, and procedure problems. Typically requires a four-year college degree in field of specialty. Typically reports to manager level in the organization.: Talks with staff, computer users, supervisors, and managers to determine requirements for new or modified software and hardware. Database Design Analyst

Analyzes business procedures and problems to refine data for database management. Analyzes, designs and implements accurate, secure, efficient, logical and physical data bases and coordinates database development applying knowledge of database design standards and database management system. Identifies and resolves production and/or applications development problems related to the use of the database management system software or utilities. Reviews project request describing database user needs. Studies existing data handling systems to evaluate effectiveness, and develops new systems to improve production or workflow as required. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in field of specialty. Excludes paraprofessional positions.: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to ascertain specific output requirements, such as types of breakouts, degree of data summarization, and format for management reports. Specifies in detail logical and/or mathematical operations to be performed by various equipment units and/or comprehensive computer programs and operations to be performed by personnel in system. Estimates time and cost required to accomplish project. Determines if project requires creating series of new programs or modifying existing programs that access data stored in databases. Attends specification meeting with project team workers to determine scope and limitations of project. Reviews workflow chart developed by programmer analyst to understand tasks computer will perform, such as updating records. Reviews procedures in database management system manuals for making changes to database, such as defining, creating, revising, and controlling database. Revises company definition of data as defined in data dictionary (information about data, including name, description, source of data item, and key words for categorizing and searching for data item descriptions). Determines and enters changes to data dictionary descriptions, including type, structure, and intended use of data within system, or assigns data entry work to programmer. Develops data model describing data elements and how they are used, following procedures and using pen and template or computer software. Creates description to enable programmer analysts to understand how programs should access data. Writes description of how user accesses data, referred to as logical database. Writes physical database description, such as location, space requirements, and access method, to protect company data resources against unauthorized access and accidental destruction, according to computer industry standards and knowledge of database management system. Conducts special studies and investigations pertaining to development of new information systems to meet current and projected needs. Plans and prepares technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals relative to the establishment and functioning of complete operational systems. Workers typically specialize in one or more types of database management systems. May specialize in adding, deleting, and modifying data items in data dictionary.

Programmer Analyst

Analyzes systems and writes programs. Evaluates users requests for new or modified computer programs to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current system, and computer capabilities. Formulates plan outlining steps required to develop program, using structured analysis and design. Plans, develops, tests, and documents computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems. Usual requirement is a four-year college degree in field of specialty; some companies may accept equivalent education and experience combined.: Submits plans to user for approval. Prepares flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate sequence of steps program must follow and to describe logical operations involved. Consults with user to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives. Reads manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn ways to develop programs that meet user requirements. Designs computer terminal screen displays to accomplish goals of user request. Converts project specifications, using flowcharts and diagrams, into sequence of detailed instructions and logical steps for coding into language that can be processed by computer, applying knowledge of computer programming techniques and computer languages. Enters program codes into computer system. Enters commands into computer to run and test program. Reads computer printouts, or observes display screen to detect syntax or logic errors during program test, or uses diagnostic software to detect errors. Replaces, deletes, or modifies codes to correct errors. Analyzes, reviews, and alters program to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Writes documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Writes manual for users to describe installation and operating procedures. Assists users to solve operating problems. Recreates steps taken by user to locate source problem and rewrites program to correct errors. May use computer-aided software tools, such as flowchart design and code generation, in each stage of system development. May train users to use program. May oversee installation of hardware and software. May provide technical assistance to program users. May install and test program at user site. May monitor performance of program after implementation. May specialize in developing programs for business or technical applications.

Website Traffic Analyst

Tracks and analyzes number and quality of visitors to gauge effectiveness of the website. Monitors, compiles, analyzes, and evaluates incoming website traffic. Typically requires a four-year degree or related experience.: Generates reports on web traffic and trends and patterns including revenue, conversion, and marketing campaign performance. Coordinates marketing objectives with web developers based on system capabilities. Tracks time spent at site. Researches, evaluates, and makes recommendations for purchase of web analysis software. Analyzes and controls the technical architecture of Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks. Researches, tests, evaluates, and recommends telecommunications and data network systems. Analyzes workload, including traffic and utilization trends. Interfaces with users, consultants, technical teams, and vendors for maximum guidance in determining the most appropriate type of hardware installation. Supports complex PCs and LAN/WAN networks throughout the organization. Requires advanced knowledge and experience in the area of local and wide area networking, communications, and related hardware and software. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or equivalent, and certification in networks.: Identifies areas of operation that need upgraded equipment, such as modems, fiber optic cables, and telephone wires. Conducts survey to determine user needs. Reads technical manuals and brochures to determine equipment that meets establishment requirements. Visits vendors to learn about available products or services. Tests and evaluates hardware and software to determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing system, using equipment such as computer terminal and modem. Analyzes test data and recommends hardware or software for purchase. Develops and writes procedures for installation, use, and solving problems of communications hardware and software. Monitors system performance. Instructs users in use of equipment, and assists users to identify and solve data communication problems. May design and develop complex software interface programs. May write technical specifications to send to vendors for bid. May oversee or assist in installation of communications hardware. May perform minor equipment repairs.

User Support Analyst

Provides technical assistance, support, and advice to end users for hardware, software, and systems. Investigates and resolves computer software and hardware problems of users. Serves as a contact for users having problems using computer software, hardware, and operating systems. Determines whether problem is caused by hardware, software, or system. Answers questions, applying knowledge of computer software, hardware, systems, and procedures. May work as in-house consultant and research alternate approaches to existing software and hardware when standardized approaches cannot be applied. Typically requires a four-year college degree in field of specialty; however, some organizations may accept equivalent education and experience combined.: Talks with co-workers to research problem and find solution. Asks user with problem to use telephone and participate in diagnostic procedures, using diagnostic software or by listening to and following instructions. May install microcomputers, software, and peripheral equipment, following procedures and using hand tools. Database Analyst

Inventory Analyst

Collects, evaluates, and reports data in order to manage inventory. Analyzes inventory records. Interprets results of overall inventory. Collects sales records and trends and evaluates performance measured against inventory budgets. Conducts statistical and financial analysis, and recommends levels of inventory required by production schedules and/or customer orders while minimizing inventory and carrying costs. Excludes paraprofessional positions.: May evaluate current economic conditions and prepares forecasts.

Banking Investment Analyst
