Staffing Manager

Oversees and manages the organization's recruitment and staffing functions. Promotes and sells staffing services to prospective clients and develops and maintains client relationships. Markets to clients by phone, conducts client meetings, and participates in networking events. Oversees mentoring and training of staff, and manages daily operations. Leads the team responsible for staffing and recruitment operations, including maintaining personnel requests, job description maintenance, and advertisement creation.: Interacts with client's hiring or requesting managers to determine needs and to ensure needs have been met. Leads staffing team in reviewing applications and resumes, screening and interviewing applicants, matching qualified candidates to jobs, and providing permanent or temporary placement of qualified candidates for required job assignments. Conducts thorough and objective referencing, including responsibility for obtaining applicable background checks. Provides feedback to hiring or requesting managers based on candidate skills and experience as required by the position. Solicits detailed feedback from hiring or requesting managers in order to ensure selection of the most qualified candidates. Educates and guides staff, assists in recruiting best practices and strategies, legal requirements, and company interviewing guidelines. Ensures consistent corporate image throughout recruiting campaigns. Sources potential candidates through all applicable means, including cold calling, Internet posting and search, networking, employee referrals, community-based partnerships, etc. Creates and implements staffing and employment strategies to enable the business.

Staffing Coordinator

Coordinates staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and to meet demands of department. Monitors reporting of staff hours. This position does not include any supervisory responsibilities.: Completes daily staffing sheets. Interacts with employees to cover daily staffing requirements, including securing coverage for vacancy shifts, open positions, and vacations. Prepares and completes daily staff hours report, reporting problems with employee attendance as needed. Communicates with admissions on a daily basis for census and admission/discharge status of patients. Reviews daily punch detail report on each employee, verifies hours worked, corrects any errors, and identifies trends. Assists with orientation of new employees. Creates and distributes HR communications and helps to implement HR programs. Compiles, summarizes, and analyzes employee data, helping to coordinate HR training and workshops. May verify payroll accuracy for the Payroll Coordinator. May complete applicant flow log, agency usage, and accruals for department. May assist with employment advertising. May perform drug screening for the interview process. May assist with reporting and/or collecting employee information related to Workers' Compensation incidents.

Call Center Nurse RN

Provides telephone triage to member of the health plan. Advises and instructs callers on proper health care after assessing the urgency of symptoms or complaints.: Answers telephone inquiries, assesses symptoms and provides assistance to members of the health plan in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols. Provides clinical nursing evaluation and assessment and instructs callers to seek appropriate medical care. Notifies physician on call with pertinent medical information or if consultation is deemed necessary by nurse. Provides nursing referral to appropriate and available resources, including affiliated services, affiliated medical practice or community resource. Enters data into a computerized database and forwards facsimiles to appropriate health providers. Consults and facilitates after hours communication with physicians, nurses, hospital staff and outside agencies. Communicates with pharmacies and providers to refill medications or to clarify prescriptions. Typically requires graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse with two years of hospital or public health nursing experience. May provide health insurance eligibility, pharmacy benefits, provider information, and other information to callers.

Staffing Clerk

Compiles and records information about temporary job openings and refers qualified applicants from register of temporary help agency. Responds to hospital, business, or other type of organization requesting temporary workers and obtains and records job requirements. May give employment applications to applicants, schedule interviews with agency registration interviewers, or administer skill tests. Performs other clerical duties.: Reviews records to locate registered workers who match job requirements and are available for scheduled shift. Notifies selected workers of job availability and records referral information on agency records. Sorts mail, files records, and performs other clerical duties. May refer workers in specific occupations, such as nursing.
