Front Desk Supervisor

Supervises the operations and staff of the Front Desk Department of a hotel or similar establishment and ensures a high level of customer service.: Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests. Issues room keys and escort instructions to Bellhop. Sorts incoming mail and messages. Transmits and receives telephone messages. Answers inquiries pertaining to the organization's services, registration of guests, and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions. Makes restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservations and arranges for tours. Ensures staff, including all new hires, are trained to meet standards and consistently follow procedures. May act as Manager on Duty when assigned.

Hotel Front Office Manager

Coordinates front office activities of hotel or motel and resolves problems arising from guests' complaints, reservation and room assignment activities, and unusual requests and inquiries. Assigns duties and shifts to workers and observes performances to ensure adherence to hotel policies and established operating procedures. Receptionist Front Office Assistant

Greets and receives visitors at establishment, determines nature of business, and directs visitors to destination. Obtains visitor's name and announces visitor's arrival to appropriate person. Answers, screens, and routes incoming calls and takes messages as needed. Types memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents and assists with other administrative projects. : Maintains reception area in neat and orderly condition. Assists visitors and staff with questions and information. May issue visitor's pass when required. May operate telephone console to receive incoming messages. May make future appointments. Medical Receptionist

Receives patients and visitors and provides assistance in scheduling appointments, patient registration, medical chart maintenance and the coordination of patient referrals.: Greets patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner and verifies patient contact and insurance information on file. Schedules appointments and registers patients, ensuring that all demographic information is current. Prepares and maintains medical charts for patients, ensuring confidentiality of all patient information. Answers non-medical questions and gives routine non-medical instructions. Enters demographics of new patients, including insurance information, into computer. Ensures that referrals are available, if required. Answers and screens telephone calls and takes messages. Coordinates the exchange of patient data with referral sources. Collects, verifies and enters into the billing system all insurance and third party resources for payment. May coordinate insurance verification and perform pre-certification with insurance companies. May prepare charge tickets and receive co-payments for office visit.

Front End Loader Operator

Operates straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor-type vehicle equipped with front-mounted, hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage or processing areas, to feed conveyors, hoppers, or chutes, and to load trucks or railcars: Starts engine, shifts gears, presses pedals, and turns steering wheel to operate loader. Moves levers to lower and tilt bucket and drives front-end loader forward to force bucket into bulk material. Moves levers to raise and tilt bucket when filled, drives vehicle to work site, and moves levers to dump material. Performs routine maintenance on loader, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.

PBX Operator Receptionist

Operates switchboard equipment to relay incoming, outgoing, and/or interoffice calls. Directs caller to destination and records name, time of call, nature of business, and person called upon. Supplies information to callers/visitors, takes messages, and announces callers/visitors.: May issue visitor's pass when required. May perform clerical duties, such as word processing, proofreading, and sorting mail. May receive callers at establishment, determine nature of business, and arrange for appointment with person called upon. May type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents. Front End Mechanic

Aligns wheels, axles, frames, torsion bars, and steering mechanisms of automotive vehicles, such as automobiles, buses, and trucks: drives automotive vehicle onto wheel alignment rack and tests vehicle for faulty wheel alignment, bent axle, worn ball joints, and bent steering rods, using alignment-testing machine. Straightens axle and steering rods and adjusts shims, tie rods, and joining pins to align wheels, or installs new parts, using handtools. Places wheel on balancing machine to determine where counterweights must be added to balance wheel. Hammers counterweights onto rim of wheel. Installs shock absorbers. Straightens frame, using hydraulic jack, chassis aligner, and acetylene torch.

Hotel Reservation & Front Office Clerk

Performs variety of services for guests of hotel, motel, or other lodging establishments. Registers arriving guests, assigns rooms, and checks out guests at the end of their stay. Issues room key. Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions. Keeps records of room assignments and other registration information. Prepares and explains charges at time of check out and processes payment.: Date-stamps, sorts, and racks incoming mail and messages. Transmits and receives messages. Makes and confirms reservations. May make restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservation, and arrange for tours. May deposit guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe-deposit box. May order complimentary flowers or champagne for guests. May rent dock space at marina-hotel.
