Mental Health Specialist

Plans and conducts group, individual, group, and family psychotherapy sessions in an inpatient mental health unit.: Provides psychotherapeutic services to individuals, groups, couples or families and may specialize in a certain area. Determines frequency, duration, and intensity of treatment. Diagnoses and evaluates mental health status of patients. Skin Specialist

Diagnoses and treats diseases of human skin. Examines skin to determine nature of disease, taking blood samples and smears from affected areas, and performing other laboratory procedures. Examines specimens under microscope, makes various chemical biological analyses, and performs other tests to identify disease-causing organisms or pathological conditions.: Prescribes and administers medications, and applies superficial radiotherapy and other localized treatments. Teats abscesses, skin injuries, and other skin infections, and surgically excises cutaneous malignancies, cysts, birthmarks, and other growths. Treats scars, using dermabrasion.

High Risk Pregnancy Specialist

Specializes in diagnoses and manages complications of pregnancy. Handles complicated or unusual high risk pregnancies or pregnancies that require care by a team of trained individuals. Performs advanced ultrasound, with an explanation of the findings. Provides consultation, answering questions and suggesting management plans to patient's regular care provider. Requires two-year subspecialty training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine following medical school and a four-year residency in obstetrics and gynecology.: Manages some aspects of patient's care while regular care provider manages prenatal care and the delivery of the baby. Provides the obstetric health care team an awareness of the most recent approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of obstetrical problems, along with the diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for optimal management of complicated pregnancies. May manage complete pregnancy care if regular provider requests it.

Computer Support Specialist

Installs, modifies, and makes minor repairs to personal computer hardware and software systems, and provides technical assistance and training to system users. Answers client's inquiries concerning systems operation; diagnoses system hardware, software, and operator problems; and recommends or performs remedial actions to correct problems based on knowledge of system operation. There are no specific educational requirements, but excellent working knowledge of personal computers and peripherals is required.: Inspects personal computer equipment and reads order sheet listing user requirements to prepare computer for delivery. Installs or assists service personnel in installation of hardware and peripheral components, such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives on user's premises, following design or installation specifications. Attends technical conferences and seminars to keep abreast of new software and hardware product developments.

Disability Work Compensation Claims Specialist

Reviews, analyzes, investigates, makes liability decisions and approves the release of benefit payments up to authorized levels on initial, continued and reopened claims.: Independently reviews simple to complex claims for adjudication purposes. Evaluates new and ongoing claims to determine liability according to contract provisions, medical evidence, and vocational evidence and duration contract guidelines. Performs periodic follow-up to determine continuing existence of a disabling condition. Analyzes documentation and summarizes data gathered from a variety of sources. Responds to telephone and written inquiries from claimants, attorneys, physicians and policy holders. Updates and maintains accurate records. This position typically requires knowledge of case law and state worker’s compensation laws. A minimum of three years of claims adjudication experience is typically required.

Account Installation Specialist Associate

Administers the installation of assigned accounts under general direction including, but not limited to, structure and billing setup, eligibility collection, database loading, and preparation of plan materials, such as administrative documents and customer education materials.: Provides support to assigned accounts by responding to inquiries and resolving issues of concern. May provide guidance or expertise to less experienced representatives.

Development Disability Specialist

Instructs parents of mentally- and physically-disabled children in therapy techniques and behavior modification. Evaluates child's responses to determine levels of child's physical development and mental development. Requires a four-year college degree in a related field.: Observes and plays with child and confers with child's parents and other professionals periodically to obtain information relating to child's mental and physical development. Determines parent's ability to comprehend and apply therapeutic and behavior modification techniques and parent's social and emotional needs to formulate teaching plan. Develops individual teaching plan covering self-help, motor, social, cognitive, and language skills development for parents to implement in home. Instructs parents individually or in groups in behavior modification, physical development, language development, and conceptual learning exercises and activities. Revises teaching plan to correspond with child's rate of development. Counsels parents and organizes groups of parents in similar situations to provide social and emotional support for parents. Refers parents and child to social service agencies and facilities for additional services and financial assistance. Consults and coordinates plans with other professionals. Teaches preschool subjects, such as limited vocabulary sign language and color recognition, to children capable of learning such subjects.

Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist

Monitors company contracts to determine Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action requirements and to facilitate compliance with government agencies. Identifies potential areas of equal employment or diversity problems, studies equal opportunity complaints to clarify issues, and meets with personnel involved to counsel, arbitrate, and settle disputes. : Confers with supervisory personnel to verify or document alleged violations of law, such as failure to post notices, process grievances, or correct ethnic or other imbalances. Performs any combination of following tasks in post exchange: arranges for gift wrapping, monogramming, printing, and fabrication of such items as desk nameplates and rubber stamps, and repair or replacement of defective items covered by warranty. Takes orders for such items as decorated cakes, cut flowers, personalized greeting cards and stationery, and merchandise rentals and repairs. Prepares special order worksheet. Keeps record of services in progress. Notifies customer when service is completed and accepts payment. Acts as wedding consultant. Assists customers to select and purchase specified merchandise personal shopper. Keeps records of items in layaway, receives and posts customer payments, and prepares and forwards delinquent notices layaway clerk. Issues temporary identification cards from information on military records. Approves customer's checks and provides check cashing service according to exchange policy. Answers customer's telephone, mail, and in-person inquiries and directs customers to appropriate sales area information clerk. Resolves customer complaints and requests for refunds, exchanges, and adjustments. Provides customers with catalogs and information concerning prices, shipping time, and costs.

Security Specialist

Leads, plans, coordinates, trains, and participates in the work assignments of the security staff to ensure the safety and security of the organization's facilities and staff. Coordinates and supervises the maintenance and repair of installed alarm systems. Participates in Emergency Disaster Planning and Incident Command. Coordinates and supervises various contractors such as locksmiths, door repair, and sign companies as needed. Trains staff on security policies and procedures. Coordinates with organization management to develop, implement, and supervise a security plan for the organization in accordance with Federal and State regulations. Interprets and applies Federal, State, and local policies, procedures, laws, and regulations. Administers procedures related to safety and security. Responds to emergency situations quickly and efficiently. Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
