Call Center Nurse RN

Provides telephone triage to member of the health plan. Advises and instructs callers on proper health care after assessing the urgency of symptoms or complaints.: Answers telephone inquiries, assesses symptoms and provides assistance to members of the health plan in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols. Provides clinical nursing evaluation and assessment and instructs callers to seek appropriate medical care. Notifies physician on call with pertinent medical information or if consultation is deemed necessary by nurse. Dialysis Unit Head

Directs and coordinates activities in a kidney dialysis unit. Assigns duties to dialysis technicians and coordinates outpatient and inpatient treatment involving setting up and operating equipment to provide dialysis treatment for patients with kidney failure. Evaluates activities to ensure patient care, staff relations, and efficiency of service. Observes treatment to ensure that treatment is carried out as directed, and treatment administered in accordance with physician's instructions. : Directs preparation and maintenance of patients' records. Infusion Therapist RN

Administers IV therapy and infusion treatments and educates patients and caregivers on IV procedures and care. Typically requires graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing with a bachelor's degree preferred. Two years of IV experience is usually required.: Supports the care team in the provision of patient and family care on an identified shift. Chooses and monitors venipuncture and/or catheter insertion sites. Has shift accountability for the assurance of appropriate staffing resources for the provision of quality patient care on an identified shift. Functions as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Resident Care Coordinator RN

Coordinates the work of all disciplines involved in completing Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments and resident care plans according to regulatory requirements and guidelines. Initiates dialysis via approved accesses, observes all safety measures, takes and monitors patient vital signs, administers fluid therapy or other appropriate treatments as directed, and documents activity appropriately. Ensures compliance with State and Federal regulations for patient care and services. : Reviews dialysis orders, notes general physical and mental condition of patient through observations and interview; documents observations. Observes dialysis machines and RO water system for correct functioning, responds to visual and audible alarms, and makes appropriate adjustments before, during, and after the dialysis treatment. Monitors patient for adverse reactions. Dismantles, cleans, and disinfects dialysis machines and equipment.

Dialysis Services Executive

Provides executive leadership for dialysis services operations.: Develops and implements approved standards and guidelines for renal dialysis programs and ensures they are within budget. Plans, organizes, implements and evaluates outcomes of renal dialysis services. Directs patient care services and ensures adequate staffing for dialysis services units. Develops strategic dialysis services initiatives and transforms initiatives into action plans. Performs regular data analysis of dialysis census, quality data and operations cost reports to identify variances and their causes so that areas of focus may be identified and resources may be appropriately deployed. Works closely with the Medical Director to ensure that renal dialysis services are provided in an efficient and effective manner. Provides oversight and direction in establishing and maintaining a system for developing, reviewing, approving and disseminating standards of clinical practice. Assists in reviewing and making recommendations on policy issues regarding clinical practice with appropriate discipline within the organization. Prepares and manages the departmental budget. Hires, develops and motivates a qualified dialysis services management staff. An advanced degree in a field of health or nursing is typically required for this position. The position typically requires strong clinical and quality improvement knowledge. May oversee the study and treatment of professional and technical hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, drug overdoses, and plasmaphoresis.

Regional Extension Service Specialist

Directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in agricultural or home economics services of agricultural extension program within group of counties: determines methods and procedures or services and assigns tasks to workers according to extension program policies. Examines county methods and procedures to evaluate content and effectiveness of services within district. Delivers lectures to groups, such as commercial and community organizations, and directs county extension workers to deliver lectures to publicize and promote extension services activities.
