Engineering Director Test

Lead Carpenter

Oversees and leads the on-site implementation of a construction project and/or projects. Understands and implements the client's objectives, all contract responsibilities, all plans, specifications, and product requirements. Serves as liaison between the client and managers. : Performs all types of carpentry work on the job in a timely manner, requesting help as needed. Executes all the finish carpentry work including trim, interior doors, cabinetry, and hardware. Assumes responsibility for layout, setting elevations, and concrete footings. Coordinates and supervises all trades (sub-contractors). Manages material takeoff, ordering, and delivery. Maintains a clean job site and safety standards and procedures. Protects the client's property. Tracks progress of project including any extra work needed and documents changes. May perform any tasks required on a remodeling project, including excavation, demolition, flooring, tile, windows, doors, insulation, painting, roofing, etc., with the exception of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.

Data Entry Operator Lead

Guides data entry operators in the data entry process and in solving work problems. Operates computer or other data entry device to enter data in computer-readable format. Inputs accounting or statistical data from source documents into computer, using data entry device, such as keyboard or optical scanner, and following format displayed on screen.: Compares data entered with source documents, or re-enters data in verification format on screen to detect errors. Deletes incorrectly entered data, and re-enters correct data. Keeps record of work completed. Compiles, sorts, and verifies accuracy of data to be entered. May assist in role of group leader as required.

Engineering Supervisor Test

Supervises employees engaged in test engineering activities. Supervises activities related to test engineering including staffing, scheduling, coordinating, and planning. Supervises various sections of engineering. Assists in planning and establishing engineering schedules and following up performance against estimates. Supervises professional and paraprofessional test engineering personnel. Typically reports to engineering manager level in the organization and is a first level supervisor.: Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists employees in solving work problems. Supervises assembly of cost control and statistical data. Approves process specification and design standards. Assists in preparation and control of departmental annual budget. Assists in administration of personnel functions, including recruiting, review and approval of job descriptions and salary classifications, and selection and placement of personnel. May supervise development of material selection standards. May recommend new policies or procedures as necessary. May train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions.

Lead Relay Tester

Supervises and coordinates activities of relay testers engaged in testing, adjusting, and repairing relays, meters, capacitors, and other parts of electric power-distributing equipment: schedules periodic tests of all operating equipment. Directs workers in installation of equipment. Prepares diagrams and drawings of new installations. Performs other duties as described under supervisor.

Leads in the adherence to planning, policies, practices, and personnel while overseeing a computer programming project or group of programmers. Assigns, coordinates, and reviews work of programming personnel. Usually reports to a supervisor of programming. Typically requires a four-year college degree in field of specialty; however, some companies may accept equivalent education and experience combined.: Plans, schedules, and directs preparation of programs to process data and solve problems by use of computers. Consults with managerial and systems analysis personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, suggest changes, and determine extent of programming and coding required. Develops programs from workflow charts or diagrams, considering factors, such as computer storage capacity and speed, extent of peripheral equipment, and intended use of output data. Converts workflow charts to language that can be processed by computer. Enters program codes into computer. Enters test data into computer. Analyzes test runs on computer to correct or direct correction of coded program and input data. Revises or directs revision of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Compiles documentation of program development and subsequent revisions. Trains subordinates in programming and program coding. Prescribes standards for terms and symbols used to simplify interpretation of programs. Collaborates with computer manufacturers and other users to develop new programming methods. Prepares records and reports.
