Production Superintendent

Directs and coordinates, through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with production of company product(s), utilizing knowledge of product technology, production methods and procedures, and capabilities of machines and equipment. Confers with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards, develop budget and cost controls, and to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered. Plans and directs production activities and establishes production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors. Typically the second level of management and has supervisors reporting to this position; however, in smaller companies, may be a first level supervisor over subordinate staff.: Coordinates production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment. Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications, and operating or production problems. Develops and implements operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality. Revises production schedules and priorities as result of equipment failure or operating problems. Consults with engineering personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products. Conducts hearings to resolve or effect settlement of grievances and refers unresolved grievances for management-union negotiations. May compile, store, and retrieve production data.

Production Supervisor

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in processing and/or the development of a product or a service. The Production Supervisor position is distinguished from the Production Foreman position, as the Production Supervisor is responsible for products and services of more complexity and that require more specialized knowledge among the workers as compared to the Production Foreman. This position typically reports to a manager.: Trains new workers in operation of equipment. Maintains inventory records and requisitions ingredients/supplies as necessary to meet delivery schedules. Inspects materials and products to maintain organization standards. Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities between departments. Responsible for the work effort and the appraisal of personnel.

Web Production Assistant

Assists Website Production Manager or Webmaster with daily web production, project prioritization, and scheduling to keep organization or client websites up-to-date. Assists with maintenance of major, high-traffic publication websites. : Provides documentation and archiving for projects including schedules, budgets, detailed specifications, and search engine optimization. Works with internal or external clients to resolve technical issues. Assists in entering and managing the website's content, primarily text and digital images. Selects, optimizes, and prepares digital images for the Web. Coordinates with necessary groups and departments to ensure that content workflow is efficient and productive. Provides input and recommendations on developing interactive projects. Manages small projects.

Seasonal Sales Associate

Sells and services seasonal company products through established accounts in assigned territory. Hosts specialized selling events at retail establishments or at potential customer locations. Provides support to the Lead Sales Associate in the efficient promotion of assigned products through merchandise presentations. Receives and processes orders. Ensures products are accurately displayed.: Provides excellent customer service to visiting customers as they look at and inquire about products, providing information concerning product, pricing, and availability. Assists with product knowledge training to other sales personnel in order to help drive sales. Provides feedback to management regarding consumer response, retailer response, and business objectives to assist with target goals and objective.

Seasonal Merchandiser

Services company seasonal products through retail accounts in assigned territory. Ensures product is accurately displayed and available for consumers. Maintains store presentation standards through day-to-day merchandising of all specific seasonal products, including resets, fixture installation, store sets, retrofits, inventory reconciliation, shelf maintenance, display maintenance, and point of purchase (POP) installation.: Stocks and arranges shelves and seasonal product displays in stores. Tracks store level inventory through product counts. Identifies opportunities for incremental display space to drive volume goals. Assists with product knowledge training to store personnel with the intention of allowing them to better drive sales to the end user. Provides excellent customer service on a daily basis to visiting consumers as they patrol the aisles and inquire about seasonal product(s). Provides daily feedback to the Market Sales Coordinator and District Manager regarding consumer response, retailer response, and business objectives to assist with target goals and objectives.

Radioisotope Production Operator

Controls laboratory compounding equipment enclosed in protective hot cell to prepare radioisotopes and other radioactive materials for use as tracers for biological, biomedical, physiological, and industrial purposes according to written procedures: places specified amounts of chemicals into container to be irradiated at nuclear reactor or with other irradiation equipment. Secures vacuum pump head to outlet valve on special container to replace air with inert gas, and routes container to irradiation facility. Receives irradiated chemicals delivered in shielded cell. Moves manipulator to open container and transfer irradiated contents into glass vessel. Opens pneumatic valves or uses manipulators to add specified types and quantities of chemical reagents into glass vessel to produce radioactive product. Controls manipulators to pour liquids required to perform standard chemical analyses involving titration and filtration. Withdraws radioactive sample for transport to chemical laboratory for analysis. Fills shipping container inside cell with prescribed quantity of radioisotope material for shipment pending sample approval.

Gear Cutting Machine Operator Production

Tends one or more previously set up gear-cutting machines, such as gear shapers, hobbers, finishers, and generators, to machine spline or gear teeth on metal blanks: positions and secures workpiece on arbor, or in chuck, fixture, or automatic feeding mechanism. Starts machine and flow of coolant and observes operation. Adjusts machine stops and changes worn cutter, using wrenches. Verifies conformance to specifications, using fixed gauges, micrometers, and preset dial indicators. May machine plastics or other nonmetallic materials. May be required to have experience with particular material, product, or size, type, or trade name of machine.
