Assistant Principal

Administers school student personnel program in primary or secondary school, and counsels and disciplines students, performing any combination of following tasks: formulates student personnel policies, such as code of ethics. Plans and supervises school student activity programs. Gives individual and group guidance for personal problems, educational and vocational objectives, and social and recreational activities. Talks with and disciplines students in cases of attendance and behavior problems. Supervises students in attendance at assemblies and athletic events. Principal Librarian

Coordinates activities of library branch or department, and assists patrons in selection and location of books, audiovisual materials, and other materials: trains and directs workers in performance of such tasks as receiving, shelving, and locating materials. Assists with foundation activities and coordinates special events for the solicitation of funds from special constituencies. Coordinates direct mail, personal solicitation, commemorative giving, and telethons. Typically requires a college degree and two years of special events or fundraising experience.: Coordinates preparation of support materials, program promotion, and report generation. Assists in the promotion of foundation giving programs by performing graphics and communications projects. Enlists volunteers to assist in fund solicitation activities. Coordinates the acknowledgement of gifts. Maintains records of solicitations and responses. Prepares reports and analyses.

Marketing Communications Specialist

Promotes, markets, and sells the organization's products and services through effective sales and marketing techniques and the overall coordination and management of customer lead generation, advertising, press releases, sales promotion, product literature, trade shows, seminars and special events activities, direct mail campaigns, web based communications, audio and video clips, and/or other materials used to promote products. : Implements and periodically revises the organization's public relations plan. Marketing Specialist

Supports a broad range of marketing activities and/or promotes sales and creates goodwill for firm's products or services among customers or prospects. Calls on existing or potential customers. This is a professional level non-supervisory position, and the level of responsibility typically requires a degree from a university in sales or marketing.: Attends sales meetings. Ensures that the organization is in effective compliance with the laws and regulations which govern its community development programs. Coordinates and submits compliance, regulatory, and government documents for all community development activities in the organization. Disseminates information regarding community development compliance matters and the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) to appropriate operating areas and contact persons. Monitors and evaluates community development, housing and/or housing development, finance, education, social work, children/youth work, criminal justice, or elections-related programs for compliance.: Monitors and reviews the procedures and practices of the organization and its activities for compliance with applicable laws and regulations and adherence to internal policies. Reviews documentation and procedures to assure compliance. Trains staff in all applicable compliance regulations. Coordinates the implementation of new regulations and requirements and conducts related staff training. Responds to complaints, including the analysis of historical patterns. Provides interpretation and clarification of regulations, and recommends appropriate procedural changes. Ensures that the organization is successful in passing examinations conducted by the appropriate governing authority. Works with internal auditors and serves as liaison with regulators. Responds to inquiries and requests for examination ratings, brochures, or public information. Interacts with all levels throughout the organization to ensure regulatory compliance. Identifies external vendors to obtain training materials. Attends seminars to maintain current knowledge of regulatory developments, as necessary. Provides technical assistance to program personnel. Writes reports and maintains administrative records. Prepares, reviews, and executes contracts and other necessary documents. May conduct on-site inspections to assess effectiveness of projects and ensure program compliance.

Child Development Specialist

Instructs parents of mentally- and physically-disabled children in therapy techniques and behavior modification. Evaluates child's responses to determine levels of child's physical development and mental development. Requires a four-year college degree in a related field.: Observes and plays with child and confers with child's parents and other professionals periodically to obtain information relating to child's mental and physical development. Determines parent's ability to comprehend and apply therapeutic and behavior modification techniques and parent's social and emotional needs to formulate teaching plan. Develops individual teaching plan covering self-help, motor, social, cognitive, and language skills development for parents to implement in home. Instructs parents individually or in groups in behavior modification, physical development, language development, and conceptual learning exercises and activities. Revises teaching plan to correspond with child's rate of development. Counsels parents and organizes groups of parents in similar situations to provide social and emotional support for parents. Refers parents and child to social service agencies and facilities for additional services and financial assistance. Consults and coordinates plans with other professionals. Teaches preschool subjects, such as limited vocabulary sign language and color recognition, to children capable of learning such subjects.
