Organizes and oversees the daily activities of the Pharmacy Department, including staff work schedules and resource allocation. Ensures that proper documentation is completed for all medications, with particular attention on controlled substances. Maintains all equipment and systems used in the preparation, oversight and dispensing of medications. Ensures that appropriate medications are available, ordered, prepared, stored and maintained. This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and acceptance within an accredited internship program. May analyze medications to determine identity, purity, and strength.
