Promotes and sells company products or services face to face in assigned area or territory. Represents the company and performs presentations of the company's products or services. Communicates directly with new and existing customers or clients to demonstrate and/or explain features and merits of products or services offered and provides assistance in the best application of products or services. Provides individualized customer service to banking patrons, including financial planning, loan processing, and other services. This position has more responsibilities than the customer service representative and is less specialized than a financial sales representative. This position typically requires two years of directly related training and/or experience.: Sets up various types of new accounts and provides customer services on existing accounts. Selects and purchases merchandise for department store customers, according to mail or telephone requests. Visits wholesale establishments or other department stores to purchase merchandise which is out-of-stock or which store does not carry. Records and processes mail orders and merchandise returned for exchange. May escort customer through store.
