Administers educational and job training programs for veterans of armed services, as established by government regulations, and directs activities of field representatives: develops and presents reports concerning activities, expenses, budget, new or revised government statutes and rulings, and other items affecting program. Evaluates curriculums, and reviews and approves or rejects applications of schools, establishments, or individuals offering educational or training facilities. Determines eligibility of veterans to receive education or training. Confers with government agencies on problems and other matters relating to program. Interprets regulatory or administrative decisions to execute legal requirements, establishes guides for making decisions in field, and assigns work load to subordinates.
Manages all aspects of organization's loss prevention activities, such as asset protection, store safety, training, and oversight of security equipment. Implements and coordinates security and theft prevention programs designed to ensure the protection of company assets and increase profitability. : Reviews reported loss events such as shoplifting, robbery or burglary, destruction or sabotage of company property, employee theft or fraud, or any other internal or external event resulting in loss of company assets. Modifies loss prevention plan to protect against repeat occurrences of loss events. Selects and trains loss prevention personnel, with emphasis on professionalism and safety. Coordinates investigations of loss events, and works with local law enforcement and other prosecuting agencies. Maintains records and reports of loss events, and monitors loss prevention department's contribution to total store shortage reduction. Prepares training materials and may provide training during new employee orientation.
Sells new wireless products and services. Assists new and existing customers with the purchase of wireless equipment and services. Presents products and services to prospective customers through demonstrations and development of wireless communications solutions.: Prospects and generates new sales opportunities. Conducts all required processes and procedures to implement new service upon completion of sale. Initiates follow-up contact with customers to ensure complete satisfaction with all products and services purchased. Participates in the development and execution of promotional activities. Responds to customer inquiries, needs, and/or problems, which may include account research, explanation of equipment operation, and execution of warranty claims. Stays current with changes and developments in the wireless industry.

Examines estimates of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy. Evaluates the market position of competing technical products, services, and organizations and their marketing and sales techniques. Devises sales strategies and promotions to obtain maximum sales volume. Forecasts semi-annual and annual sales projections. Directs preparation of required reports. Interprets and enforces company policy and practices. Ensures the adequacy of sales training programs. May recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.
Performs following duties in connection with purchase and sale of merchandise to aid buyer: verifies quantity and quality of stock received from manufacturer. Authorizes payment of invoices or return of shipment. Approves advertising copy for newspaper. Gives markers information, such as price mark-ups or mark-downs, manufacturer number, season code, and style number to print on price tickets. Inspects exchanged or refunded merchandise. May sell merchandise to become familiar with customers' attitudes, preferences, and purchasing problems.
Inventories, stores, prices, and restocks merchandise displays in retail store. Stocks storage areas and displays with new or transferred merchandise. Sets up advertising signs and displays merchandise on shelves, counters, or tables to attract customers and promote sales. Cleans display cases, shelves, and aisles.: Takes inventory or examines merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished. Requisitions merchandise from supplier based on available space, merchandise on hand, customer demand, or advertised specials. Receives, opens, and unpacks cartons or crates of merchandise, checking invoice against items received. May pack customer purchases in bags or cartons. May transport packages to specified vehicle for customer. May itemize and total customer merchandise selection at check out counter, using cash register, and accept cash or charge card for purchases.
Services and sells to retail accounts within an assigned territory to ensure client standards are met and volume is increased. Interfaces with a number of different retail outlets that carry the manufacturer’s merchandise. Provides service and maintains a good working relationship with retailers. Builds rapport with clients and customers alike.: Sells and ensures quality in-class merchandising to include building displays, packing out product, and replenishing permanent secondary displays and maintaining salability of all authorized items. Achieves all merchandising objectives through the effective use of permanent secondary displays and other display vehicles established within the Retail Execution Plan. Maximizes sales and increases sales volume. Ensures proper level of stock is maintained and displayed appropriately with proper signage and favorable shelf placement. Resolves issues that may arise as a result of these inventory audits, and solves problems at the store level in order to maintain the standards established in the initial sales agreement. Fields questions and proactively develops plans of action in regards to resolving issues. Prepares for and responds to audits. Completes accurate and timely paperwork and reports, recaps, itineraries, timesheets, expense reports, etc. Reports weekly activity, expenses, competitive activity, account changes, promotions, and all administrative functions within assigned territory. Reports daily activities through the use of retail handheld units, synchronizing upon completion of each day.

Develops relationships with customers. Understands the business needs of customers and provides solutions to meet those needs. Develops and present sales presentation and proposal to customers or prospects, identifying positive features and advantages of products and services over those of the competition. Works with Sales Engineer and/or Sales Support Team to determine appropriate solutions. Ensures product pricing reflects pricing structures set at the corporate and local level. Works with Order Entry Specialist to complete sales orders. Organizes customer appreciation and marketing events to build customer loyalty and market products. Ensures customer satisfaction through sales cycle. Makes regular follow-up calls to customers. Remains current on customers’ needs and on products or services being sold.
