Multimedia Developer

Leads the design and development of electronic delivery mediums, including web, A/V, and video. Creates new electronic delivery mediums and maintains existing ones to help deliver key communications to internal and external customers and enable greater productivity. : Develops and assists in the production and design of web, video, and A/V content. Assists in the identification and implementation of new technologies that will enhance the effectiveness and impact of electronic delivery mediums. Designs, creates, updates, and posts new content to internal and external web pages and A/V screens. Changes the media format of source content into multiple formats. Enhances the look, feel, and functionality of existing electronic mediums.

Software Developer Lead

Serves as a technical expert in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or complex enhancements to existing software. Leads and coordinates a team of Software Developers on a particular project.: Works with technical staff to understand and develop resolution of software problems. Resolves customer complaints with software, and responds to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements. Assists in the training of less experienced software development staff. Instructs, directs, assigns tasks to, and monitors the performance of assigned Software Developers working on the project. Assists in the scheduling and coordinating of projects and participates in the design phase of the project. May participate in the development of software user manuals.

Data Warehouse Developer

Designs, develops, and implements business driven information system solutions in a timely and efficient manner using data warehouse dimensional modeling techniques, corporate intranet technologies, SQL coding, and end-user reporting tools. : Takes business requirements for new and enhanced data marts and implements the code changes into the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process. Supports and enhances the existing dimensional model ensuring integrity of data in the model and data marts. Troubleshoots and corrects issues with existing applications in the data warehouse environment. Supports scheduled ETL processes and ensures efficiency and accuracy of outcome. Identifies new technologies or technological improvements to include in the application to improve usability, stability, and maintainability. Assists with design changes and enhancements of the data warehouse and end-user reporting environment. Develops SQL queries and/or procedures and functions for complex data requests.

Website Developer

Controls website design and creation. Plans, designs, develops, tests, edits, maintains, and documents look and flow of websites. Interviews clients to help them clarify their goals for establishing a website. Designs or supervises design of digitized images, banners, bullets, charts, image maps and other graphics to enhance appearance of site. Applies knowledge of programming techniques and computer internet systems. Typically requires a four-year college degree in field of specialty; however, some companies may accept equivalent education and experience combined.: Educates clients about the similarities and differences between Internet communication and other forms of marketing and public relations efforts. Provides marketing and promotion services. Updates and expands information on website to attract repeat users. Meets on a regular basis to evaluate and modify site as it seems appropriate. Typical background requirements include knowledge in the field of computer science along with advanced knowledge of various web-enabling computer languages. Converts project specifications into sequence of detailed instructions and logical steps for coding into language that can be processed by computer, applying knowledge of computer programming techniques and computer languages. Applies knowledge of database design standards and database management. Enters program codes into computer system. Enters commands into computer to run and test programs. Determines if project requires creating a series of new programs or modifying existing programs that access data stored in databases. Observes display screen to detect syntax or logic errors during program test, or uses diagnostic software to detect errors. Replaces, deletes, or modifies codes to correct errors. Analyzes, reviews, and alters program to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Writes documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Writes manual to describe installation and operating procedures. Assists in solving operating problems with site. Reads manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn ways to develop programs that meet client's site requirements.

IT Web Developer

Csharp Developer

Utilizes knowledge of the Csharp (C#) programming language to build and maintain new and existing applications. Participates in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including scope identification, requirements gathering, solution design, custom development, testing, implementation, training, and support as required.: Ensures that proper technical specifications are documented to accomplish the requirements. Oversees the design of system components to achieve project requirements. Validates software architecture continuously during design and development and makes changes as required. Performs code reviews with developers to ensure coding standards are being met. Collaborates with developers from other disciplines to implement cross-platform solutions as required. Designs and develops Web-based applications utilizing leading tools, technologies, and methodologies. Interacts with client and internal teams on all phases of software development lifecycle. Coldfusion Developer

Designs, implements, and maintains web applications using ColdFusion. Reviews, analyzes, modifies, develops, tests, and provides maintenance and support to Web-based applications.: Develops web projects and applications per design, budget, and timelines. Identifies and reports potential development issues impacting timeline and/or budget. Develops custom applications while following the organization's programming standards. Codes, maintains, debugs, and enhances existing ColdFusion code base. Develops existing websites, applications, and systems by updating legacy items and creating new deliverables. Assists in defining project scope and timeliness for project plans. Tests, troubleshoots, and debugs code. Creates and automates reports. Designs and prototypes Internet applications. Maintains current knowledge of technical and industry sector developments. Mentors junior level developers. May provide post-implementation support and develop future, iterative system releases.

Film Developer

Operates machine to develop still or motion-picture film. : Pulls reel of motion-picture film or rack of film strips through trapdoor into darkroom. Examines film to determine type processing required, utilizing knowledge of film developing techniques. Feels edges of film to detect tears and repairs film, using hand stapler. Mounts film in guide slot of developing machine according to length of time required for processing and pulls lever to lower film into processing position. Flips switch to start machine that transports film through series of solutions and into drying cabinet to develop and dry film. Observes film passing through machine to determine density of image and adjusts machine controls to shorten or lengthen path of film through solutions according to observation.

Color Developer

Develops formulas for paper-coloring dye and prepares directions for mixing dye with pulp to produce colored paper to specifications or customer's sample: determines composition of color sample, using spectrophotometer. Mixes pulp with water, size, filler, and other ingredients to make sample furnish of type and quality of paper specified. Weighs and mixes pigments to prepare dye, and mixes dye with furnish. Pours furnish on screen to make handsheet sample. Compares color of handsheet with color sample, visually or with spectrophotometer. Calculates weights and proportions of pigments and other materials required to make production batch of dye and prepares formulas and mixing directions for coating-mixer tender. Prepares directions for beater engineer for mixing dye with furnish. Prepares spectrophotometer charts on dye materials. Observes procedures of production staff in mixing dye with furnish and reviews laboratory reports to investigate causes of substandard colored paper. Consults with and advises production staff regarding technical problems in mixing colors and making colored paper to improve formulas and improve production methods.
