Operations Associate

Ensures the effective functioning of administrative and financial operations and systems in support of office management. Assists with the reporting and management of the organization's daily accounting activities.: Supports accounts payable management including data entry of invoices, check disbursements, monthly reporting, and vendor file maintenance. Assists with accounts payable archiving and reconciliation of bank statements and merchant credit accounts. Prepares cash receipts and deposits, batches, and data base reports. Supports accounts receivable reconciliation, monthly reporting, and monitoring overdue accounts. Coordinates the reporting and data entry of advertising sales revenue. Assists with annual IRS filing and maintains tax documentation. Assists with the preparation of annual audit schedules. Provides administrative and accounting support for annual conference. Interacts with the organization's membership community, if applicable, and supports members dues payments, preparing bank deposits and handling wire transfers. Assists in the development and preparation of the annual budgets. Prepares presentations, membership materials, financial reports, and other necessary documents. Assists in the recruitment and hiring of new personnel, including preparation of position descriptions, position description advertisement, collection of respondent resumes, and coordination of interviews, document and record interview results, and personnel actions. Assists in the orientation of new personnel to corporate policies, procedures, and benefits. Supports front desk operations.

Farmer General

Raises both crops and livestock: determines kinds and amounts of crops to be grown and livestock to be bred, according to market conditions, weather, and size and location of farm. Selects and purchases seed, fertilizer, farm machinery, livestock, and feed, and assumes responsibility for sale of crop and livestock products. Hires and directs workers engaged in planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops, such as corn, peas, potatoes, strawberries, apples, peanuts, and tobacco, and to raise livestock, such as cattle, sheep, swine, horses, and poultry. Performs various duties of farm workers, depending on size and nature of farm, including setting up and operating farm machinery.

Hotel Operations General Manager

Directs all aspects and daily operations of a hotel to ensure efficient and profitable operation. Establishes standards for personnel administration and performance, service to patrons, room rates, advertising, publicity, credit, food selection and service, and type of patronage to be solicited. Delegates authority and assigns responsibilities to department heads. The manager level is typically the second level of management and may have first level supervisors reporting to this position; however, in smaller establishments the manager may be a first level supervisor over subordinate staff.: Plans dining room, bar, and banquet operations. General Manager - HMO

Directs the overall operation and provides executive leadership in a health maintenance organization (HMO).: This is the top executive and principal organization leader in the (HMO) health plan. Reports to the board of directors and may be a member of the board. Responsible for the profitability of the organization. Establishes strategic plans and guides implementation. Confers with executive management to plan operational objectives, to develop policies and procedures, to coordinate functions and operations between divisions, departments and satellite locations, and to establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives. Reviews activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revises objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions. Directs and coordinates formulation of financial programs to provide funding for new or continuing operations and guides changes needed to reach financial goals. Represents the organization to major external authorities and constituencies. Plans and develops labor, and public relations policies designed to improve the organization's image and relations with patients, providers, employees, and the general public. Selects and evaluates performance of executive staff for compliance with established policies and objectives and contributions in attaining objectives. An advanced degree in a field of health or business is typically required for this position.

General Agent Operations

Directs and coordinates activities of personnel involved in transportation of freight by air, motor, and railway transportation systems: coordinates transportation and handling of express shipments within geographic subdivision by directing activities of airport field offices, branch agencies, and railway terminals. Recruits, hires, and administers training of employees. Establishes procedures and standards to implement policies of company. Inspects operations to evaluate efficiency of methods and submits reports to regional manager.

Slot Operations Manager

Manages and directs the daily operations of the Slot Department. Supervises all slot operations staff and ensures regulatory compliance. Directs and oversees slot machine operations, repair, and maintenance.: Ensures staff is knowledgeable about service expectations, features, attractions, promotions, and special events to better service customers. Collaborates with the Human Resources Manager to ensure adequate staffing for all areas of responsibility. Plans layout of gaming machines and continually reviews placement and profitability of machines. Reviews electronic gaming device reports and adheres to Federal cash reporting requirements. Authorizes jackpots over specified limits and ensures accuracy of payouts. Develops and provides feedback regarding the formulation, development, and implementation of departmental goals and objectives, policies, and procedures. Represents the gaming enterprise in public. Identifies and corrects problems promptly. Trains staff and supervisors, audits their work, and identifies areas for improvement.

Assistant Operations Manager

Assists in managing and coordinating organization, branch, plant, or department operation strategies and activities. Assists with the development and implementation of organization policies, practices, procedures, and attainment of operating goals.: Reviews, analyzes, and prepares reports, records, and directives, and confers with managers/supervisors to obtain data required for planning activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered. Organizes resources to ensure effective production of goods and/or services. Assists in giving work direction, resolving problems, preparing schedules, and setting deadlines to ensure timely completion of work. Evaluates current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives to develop and implement improved procedures and practices. Assists in ensuring adequate training of staff and employee compliance to organization's policies and practices. Coordinates activities of department with related activities of other departments to ensure efficiency and economy. Monitors and analyzes costs and prepares department budget. Prepares reports and records on department activities for management.

Prepares reports and records on department activities for management. Managers are designated according to functions, activities, or type of department managed. May initiate or authorize employee hire, promotion, discharge, or transfer.

Retail General Manager

Provides operational, financial, and organizational direction to retail operations in the areas of merchandising, expense and loss control, profit management, budget planning, and supervision in order to ensure efficient and economically sound operations. Directs the overall activities of retail operations to include merchandising, display, sales, inventory levels, maintenance of cash receipts, record keeping, and preparation of pertinent financial reports. Evaluates proposed policies and procedures and makes recommendations for increased savings and cost reductions.: Manages the ordering, receiving, storing, pricing, advertising, packaging, and researching of all merchandise selections. Coordinates all matters related to receiving records, invoices, transfers, shortage and damage reports, and purchase orders. Plans work schedules, ensuring proper distribution of assignments and adequate staffing, space, and facilities for performance of duties. Manages periodic physical inventories. Recommends various personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, transfers, and vacation schedules.
