Satellite Project Site Monitor

Monitors training programs transmitted by communication satellite from institution of higher learning to remote educational institution or facility: registers students for satellite communication courses and sells and distributes textbooks and other classroom materials. Activates audiovisual receiver and monitors classroom viewing of live or recorded courses transmitted by communication satellite. Stimulates classroom discussion immediately after broadcast, following standardized format. Monitors live seminar transmittals from institute of higher learning, elicits responses from classroom students, and consolidates and transmits students' questions by teletype or telephone to seminar participants for direct response via satellite. Distributes homework assignments and test blanks to students. Collects completed assignments and tests and mails them to institute of higher learning. Maintains class attendance records.

Rug Dyer - On Site

Dyes rugs on customers' premises, using spray gun and brushes: mixes powdered dye with water according to prescribed formula. Sprays or brushes rugs with prepared solution to remove stains. Applies dye to rugs with spray gun, electrically rotated brush, and handbrushes.

Assistant Site Manager

Plans, directs, and coordinates the daily activities of an assigned work site under the direct supervision of the Site Manager. Plans and establishes procedures and methods to meet operational requirements and assists in preparation of plans to ensure that the site recruits and retains sufficient personnel and inventories to meet workload requirements. Supports the Site Manager in resolving all administrative, personnel, and operating issues. Communicates with other Assistant Site Managers and addresses workflow problems, procedure revisions, and personnel issues. Evaluates and audits employee production for quality and quantity. Facilitates quality improvement programs and ensures customer service levels are met or exceeded. Verifies adherence to all government regulations. Compiles and develops management reports on performance and trends in production. Informs Site Manager of operational issues. Trains subordinate Supervisors in work procedures, regulations, and other issues. Hires, reviews, and terminates subordinate Supervisors and employees. May serve as liaison with customers at the work-site level.

Site Manager

Directs and coordinates activities of workers concerned with preparing and maintaining buildings and facilities in residential construction or logging camp: coordinates through subordinate personnel or personally directs workers engaged in preparing and maintaining such camp facilities as dining halls and barracks used by resident laborers. Analyzes, reviews, and alters program to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Writes documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Writes manual to describe installation and operating procedures. Assists in solving operating problems with site.

Site Engineer

Performs a technical, organizational, and supervisory role on construction projects, including civil, road, rail, and other infrastructure projects. Marks out the site, applies designs and plans, and liaises with subcontractors. Works as part of the site management team, sharing responsibility for site security, health and safety, and the organization and supervision of material and human resources.: Acts as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people, and operatives. Surveys and levels the site, and marks the position of planned structures. Checks drawings and quantities and ensures that the calculations are accurate for the work. Oversees the selection and requisition of materials for use in the construction. Agrees on a price for materials, and makes cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project. Plans the work and efficiently organizes the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines. Liaises with any consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project. Liaises with clients and their representatives, including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress. Performs the day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and monitoring the work of any subcontractors. Writes required detailed reports. Oversees quality control and safety matters on the site and ensures that regulations are observed. Resolves any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.

Site Secretary

Supports the Construction and Engineering site teams providing administrative and secretarial support including project filing, scheduling, providing meeting arrangements, ordering materials, e-mailing correspondence, typing of reports, answering telephones, and greeting visitors. Manages the flow of documents and drawings for the site.: Provides support to the Project Manager and assists in document control. Prepares a variety of memos, forms, letters, and reports. Composes simple, routine letters. Reads and routes incoming mail. Locates and attaches appropriate file to correspondence to be answered by employer. Answers telephone, gives information to callers, routes call to appropriate person, and places outgoing calls. Schedules appointments for employer. Assists with nonroutine projects according to specific assignments. Operates computer, printer, copier, fax, and mailroom equipment.
