Occupational Therapy Assistant

Assists Occupational Therapist in administering occupational therapy program in hospital, related facility, or community setting for physically, developmentally, mentally disabled, or emotionally disabled clients. Assists in evaluation of clients' daily living skills and capacities to determine extent of abilities and limitations. Occupational Therapist Director

May conduct training programs or participate in training medical and nursing students and other workers in occupational therapy techniques and objectives.

Occupational Medicine Physician

Specializes in the treatment of work-related diseases and injuries that occurred at work.: Develops and implements an occupational health program at a hospital or clinic setting or within established clinical groups. Examines patient and develops a patient care plan based on evaluation. Reviews reports of patient's general physical condition, reactions to medications, and medical history. Conducts physical examinations, program design, health promotion, epidemiologic studies, and hazard consultation. Provides treatment of injuries and communication of the return-to-work status to the client industry. Services may expand to the full range of occupational and environmental health services. This position requires a licensed Medical Doctor in internal medicine with specialized training in occupational medicine. May serve as a consultant to industry.
