Top Marketing Officer

Marketing Media Director

Plans and administers media programs in advertising department. Typically reports to Advertising Top Officer and Marketing Media Manager reports to this position.: Confers with representatives of advertising agencies, product managers, and corporate advertising staff to establish media goals, objectives, and strategies within corporate advertising budget. Confers with advertising agents or media representatives to select specific programs and negotiate advertising to ensure optimum use of budgeted funds and long-term contracts. Studies demographic data and consumer profiles to identify target audiences of media advertising. Reads trade journals and professional literature to stay informed of trends, innovations, and changes that affect media planning.

Health Plan Marketing Services Director

Develops and implements an effective marketing plan. Manages the marketing services staff and implements strategies relative to the development and management of an effective marketing plan. Typically requires a bachelor's degree with seven years of client services or marketing experience.: Designs and implements programs to maintain positive relationships between the health plan, physicians, providers, and practice managers. Develops marketing materials and communications for employers and plan members. Maintains awareness of the competitive environment and develops appropriate product and sales strategies. Works with Account Executives to service client groups and assists in the development and management of strategic accounts. Oversees hiring, developing, and managing a qualified staff concerned with the maintenance and expansion of client relationships within the health plan. Oversees preparation, coordination, and delivery of plan performance presentations. Identifies supporting strategies for product and program pricing, retention, and net revenue growth. May also oversee the activities of Account Executives in building strong relationships with clients. Prepares, manages, and monitors the departmental budget.

Medicaid Marketing Director

Directs and manages medical service departments that may include utilization management, inpatient case management, ambulatory case management, disease management, appeals and support functions of the health plan. Develops and implements programs for determining levels and implementing changes in utilization, quality and cost of medical care. Prepares policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. This position typically requires a licensed nurse or significant experience in the administration of health programs.: Directs and manages medical service departments that may include utilization management, inpatient case management, ambulatory case management, disease management, appeals and support functions of the health plan. Develops and implements programs for determining levels and implementing changes in utilization, quality and cost of medical care. Prepares policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. Develops and conducts educational programs for department staff and providers. Participates in committees for the development of standards of care for concurrent and retrospective review. Develops guidelines to evaluate over-utilization and under-utilization of services. Prepares and manages the departmental budget. Hires, develops and motivates a qualified medical department staff. Reviews and analyzes the inpatient census to determine workload, resource needs and opportunities for reducing utilization or length of stay. This position typically requires a licensed nurse or significant experience in the administration of health programs.

Medicare Marketing Director

Directs the Medicare Membership function in a health plan.: Plans and directs operations within the Medicare Membership department to provide explanation of benefits and response to Medicare members’ questions and complaints. Plans, implements and continuously evaluates the member service program to enhance the effective use of services and to improve customer satisfaction. Instructs departmental staff on proper member service procedures and monitors service levels. Researches and evaluates complaint reports to detect patterns, formulate solutions and report needed actions to appropriate individuals, departments or committees. Works with Medicare members on complex issues to offer mutually acceptable alternatives to problems and complaints. Responsible for hiring, developing and managing a qualified staff concerned with providing member service to Medicare members of the health plan. Prepares and manages the departmental budget. Monitors departmental statistics, reports results and develops action plans that address deficits. Participates on various committees to formulate actions to proactively address member and provider needs. Prepares and presents management reports that show departmental activities as well as specific problems identified and solutions. Develops and implements policies and procedures related to customer service. This position typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with five years of health plan experience in a customer service call center.

Sales & Marketing Top Officer

Oversees all marketing and sales functions. Plans and develops objectives, policies, and programs for marketing and sales activities of the organization. Reports to the Chief Executive Officer.: Plans and directs activities that include estimating market values and conditions; investigating market conditions and facilities to determine time, place, type of sales; preparing advertising material and selecting media for its release; assigning and directing activities of sales personnel; determining method of display; and setting prices of items to be sold in conformity with value and market. May have both Top Marketing and Top Sales Officers reporting to this position.

Product Marketing Engineer

Develops new product ideas and drives them through the development process, including inception, justification, development, product launch, and maturity. Leads the creation of the product business case based on interactions with customers in the consumer market.: Identifies, quantifies, and justifies new product ideas and potential markets. Contributes to the product roadmap and business strategy, and collaborates with others on the company's long-term vision. Creates comprehensive new product business cases that communicate customer needs and key new product parameters to the product development team, while also justifying the financial investment and working to create products that exploit the advantages of the company. Creates new product launch plans that detail the sales collateral and press engagement. Creates sales tools and conducts sales and distributor trainings. Identifies and engages with key customers to drive product adoption. Manages outside resources to create and publish press releases, advertisements, white papers, and conference materials. Forecasts and is accountable for new product revenue, pricing strategies, and end-of-life activities.

Marketing Administration Manager

Manages marketing and/or sales administration. Ensures marketing/selling activities are in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures. Directs and coordinates personnel who provide administrative sales and marketing support. Typically reports to a director.: Updates the status of sales orders and coordinates deliveries from the point of production and distribution. Directs personnel program. Directs preparation of accounting records. Recommends budgets to management. Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring work activities, such as preparation of records of expenditures, progress reports, etc., in order to inform management of current status or work activities. Submits reports of sales activity and maintains records. Promotes satisfactory customer relations. May recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.
