Editor Managing Newspaper

Negotiates with newspaper owner's representative to establish publication policies, and directs editorial activities of newspaper departments: confers with executive staff to discuss editorial policy, makeup plans, changes in staff organization, news coverage of special events, and similar decisions. Relays information to department heads. Coordinates work of editorial departments in accordance with newspaper policy. Directs general page makeup of publication. Solutions Operator

Controls equipment to blend butadiene-styrene latexes together with processing oils, stabilizers, and other additives to produce various kinds of synthetic rubber according to formulas: turns valves to connect pipelines from storage tanks to blending tanks or weigh tanks. Starts pumps and agitators. Turns valves to discharge blended materials from tanks into streams for coagulation. Pumps latex into blending tanks to obtain specified mixtures. Gauges tank or observes markings on side of tank to verify specified volumes of each type of latex. Observes dials and pumps specified amounts of additive materials into weigh tanks. Discharges additives into blending tanks. Takes samples of blends for laboratory testing. Records blend data in logs.

Director Construction Engineering

Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering project within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program and organizes project staff according to project requirements. Assigns project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project, such as technical studies, design, preparation of specifications and technical plans, and testing, in accordance with engineering disciplines of staff. Typically reports to a Top Officer and Construction Engineering Manager reports to this position.: Reviews plans for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems. Directs integration of technical activities and products. Evaluates and approves design changes, specifications, and drawing releases. Controls expenditures within limitations of project budget. Prepares interim and completion project reports.

Construction Director

Monitors quality and consistency of construction project. Resolves critical aspects of project in order to ensure successful completion. Coordinates adherence to schedules, goals, and budget. Supervises on-site staff including subcontractors.: Ensures accuracy of constructions plans. Reviews project scope and assists with budget preparation. Generates reports including financial, payroll, and progress. Oversees permit applications and schedules construction inspections. Ensures work is performed in a safe manner in accordance with best practices and applicable safety rules and regulations.

Managed Care Director

Develops and implements strategic, operational, and tactical business plans to meet customer service requirements and optimize financial performance. Maintains and develops relationships with health plans and medical groups. Develops contracting plans and forecasts. : Directs and performs the negotiation of contracts with managed care payers and group purchasing organizations. Monitors existing contract performance. Conducts financial analyses and considers impact of applicable regulatory requirements. Collaborates with senior management and/or multiple decision-makers to conclude sales. Serves as liaison between customer and company personnel on administrative matters. Develops and assists in implementation of referral strategies. Develops and manages the budget. Controls expenses while meeting operational, financial, and service requirements. Recruits, develops, and motivates staff. May lead team of sales/technical/marketing personnel on larger sales efforts.

Directs a multi-disciplinary staff. Coordinates project design and construction activities with utilities, public and private organizations, and other individuals. Ensures work is on schedule, within budget, and complies with technical, safety, and legal requirements. Assists in resolving disputes. Oversees bid process and evaluation of received proposals. Participates in negotiating final contract provisions and change orders. Leads special engineering and construction studies. Represents project before governmental agencies and in public forums. Develops, communicates, and implements safety rules, policies, and procedures. Maintains accountability for the safety performance of all subordinate employees.
