Manager Retail Sales Region

Oversees operations of retail stores in assigned region. Manages the strategic direction of stores within the assigned region, within broad company objectives. Develops and implements short- and long-term marketing plans for sales growth. Typically this job oversees Zone or District Managers; the next level in the organization above this job is typically a Division Vice President or General Manager. NOTE--ERI's findings based on sales volume.: Monitors profit and loss and maximizes return on investment. Stimulates, motivates, and develops employees for future growth. Group/Region Manager

Directs and coordinates regional activities of motor transportation company: examines and analyzes rates, tariffs, operating costs, and revenues to determine such needs or requirements as increase in rates and tariffs, reduction of operations and maintenance costs, and expansion of or changes in schedules or routes. Prepares, for management evaluation, recommendations designed to increase efficiency and revenues and lower costs. Directs, through subordinate management personnel, compliance of workers with established company policies, procedures, and standards, such as safekeeping of funds and tickets, personnel employment and grievance practices, and enforcement of union contracts and government regulations. Reviews operational records and reports and refers to manuals, company instructions, and government regulations to detect deviations from operational practices and prepares directives to eliminate such infractions. Investigates safeguards and inspects regional premises to ensure that adequate protection exists for company assets, property, and equipment. Participates in union contract negotiations and settling of grievances. Coordinates advertising and sales promotion programs for region. Reviews replies to passenger complaints and settlement of claims for conformance with company public relations policies and procedures. Inspects terminals for conformance with standards for cleanliness, appearance, and need of repair or maintenance, and directs corrective measures required to meet standards.

Customer Service Manager Trainee

Drives new and existing sales within a geographic area while managing, coaching, and developing a team of Customer Service Representatives. Trains in a specific geographic area with the customer service team until able to demonstrate the ability to work as an independent Customer Service Manager and a position is available.: Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships and mutually beneficial business relationships with clients. Ensures outstanding customer service including customer contract retention, professional customer service, management of accounts receivable, accurate reporting, and resolution of any customer concerns within an assigned geographic area. Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Recruits suitable candidates for vacancies generated by client organizations. Manages the entire recruitment process after training, including sourcing vacancies and candidates, matching candidates to vacancies, and referring candidates to clients. : Canvasses employers by telephone to establish new contacts and their recruitment requirements. Builds, manages, and develops client relationships through face-to-face meetings and regular contact. Sources the best candidates through effective advertising and marketing using headhunting, cold calling, networking, advertising, websites, etc. Screens and interviews candidates and assesses their needs. Firefighter Trainee

Inspects buildings for fire hazards and compliance with fire prevention ordinances. Performs assigned duties in maintaining apparatus, quarters, buildings, equipment, grounds, and hydrants. Participates in drills, demonstrations, and courses in hydraulics, pump operation and maintenance, and firefighting techniques. May fill fire extinguishers in institutions or industrial plants. May issue forms to building owners, listing fire regulation violations to be corrected. May drive and operate firefighting vehicles and equipment. May be assigned duty in marine division of fire department and be designated firefighter, marine.

Advertising Manager Trainee

Performs assigned duties, under direction of experienced advertising personnel, to gain knowledge and experience required for promotion to management positions. Works with Advertising Manager, media personnel, illustrators, photographers, advertising agencies, and sales promotion and marketing departments to promote products and concepts of organizations through various advertising media.: Receives training and performs duties in Advertising Department to become familiar with line and staff functions, operations, management viewpoints, and company policies and practices that affect each phase of business. Observes experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental duties. Learns how to track and manage research activities concerned with gathering information or statistics pertinent to planning and execution of sales promotion campaigns. Learns how to review rates and classifications applicable to various types of advertising and provides authorization.

Foundation Manager - Annual Giving

Plans and coordinates annual campaigns for the solicitation of funds from special constituencies. Coordinates and manages all aspects of annual giving campaigns, including budgets, preparation of support materials, program promotion, and report generation. Typically requires a bachelor's degree and two years of public relations or fundraising experience.: Plans, implements, and analyzes the results of annual campaigns to include direct mail, personal solicitation, commemorative giving, and telethons. Collaborates with local fund development officials to secure planned gifts. Offers technical expertise to structure gifts that are financial and legally sound. Assists and advises local fund development officials in conducting appropriate stewardship and recognition activities for donors. Develops and implements policies and guidelines to set legal, ethical, and financial parameters for planned giving. Coordinates solicitation of additional donor constituencies, as designated. Manages processes through which gifts are received, recorded, and distributed. Sets goals, develops schedules, organizes solicitations, and acknowledges gifts. Prepares reports and analyses setting forth progress and adverse trends and presents appropriate recommendations or conclusions.

Trainee Financial Advisor

Provides individuals, businesses, and/or organizations with advice on financial matters, utilizing knowledge of tax and investment strategies, securities, insurance, pension plans, and real estate to make recommendations on ways to utilize money. Advises clients on products and services available, ensuring they are aware of and understand those that best meet their needs, and makes sales when appropriate.: Contacts clients and sets up meetings, either within an office environment or in clients' homes/premises. Conducts in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances to determine client's assets, liabilities, cash flow, insurance coverage, tax status, and financial objectives. Works with management in developing sales strategies and new account targeting.
