Architectural Job Captain

Coordinates and prepares design development and construction documents for architectural projects. Assists with client interaction and consultant coordination processes. Assists the Architectural Project Manager and others in the team to deliver a quality product on schedule and within the project budget and the budgeted hours provided for in the work plan.: Assists Architectural Project Manager with client and project coordination and management. Manages projects of limited scope under supervision. Supervises architectural staff and personnel. Provides data for evaluation of budget compliance and project billings. Advises Architectural Project Manager of need for additional service. Coordinates architectural construction document preparation. Analyzes building/zoning code. Ensures compliance with design intent and coordination with specification. Prepares architectural plans and rendering. Assists with the development of details and the organization of construction drawings. Integrates design and technical aspects of projects. Reviews work of consultants for coordination purposes. Interfaces with client and building agencies. Responds to bid inquiries regarding pre-bid approvals and prepares addenda. Provides assistance in construction administration. Prepares project correspondence. Conducts on-site observations as directed by Architectural Project Manager and prepares observation reports when appropriate. Reviews submittals as needed. Assists in project close-out efforts including punch lists. Meets with governmental agencies or officials as needed. Serves as a technical team lead. Manages and maintains project electronic files.

Analyst Job

Collects, analyzes, and prepares occupational information to facilitate personnel, administration, and management functions of organization. Consults with management to determine type, scope, and purpose of study. Studies current organizational occupational data and compiles distribution reports, organization and flowcharts, and other background information required for study. Printer Job

Sets type according to copy and operates cylinder or automatic platen press to print complete job order. : Selects type from type case and inserts type in printer's stick to reproduce material in copy. Inserts spacers between words and leads between lines. Slides type from stick into galley. Removes assembled type from galley and places type on composing stone. Places chase over type, inserts quoins, and locks chase to hold type. Lays form on bed of proof press, inks type, fastens sheet of paper to press roller, and pulls roller over form to make proof copy. Reads proof for errors and clarity of impression. Corrects errors by resetting type and improves impression by tapping face of type with hammer. Positions form on bed of press and tightens clamps, using wrench. Fills ink fountain and moves lever to adjust flow of ink. Sets feed guides according to size and thickness of paper. Runs proof sheet through press and examines sheet for clarity of impression. Pushes button to start press, examines printed sheets, and adjusts press when printing is defective. Cleans ink rollers at end of run.

Compiles purchase orders and product specifications to prepare worksheets used in assembly or manufacture of products. Compares customer purchase order with specifications to determine materials needed and records data, such as quantity, quality, and type of components and expected completion date.: Routes worksheet and other assembly documents to specified department. May keep inventory of stock on hand and requisition needed material and supplies. May obtain documents, such as assembly instructions and blueprints, from files and attach to worksheet. May compile purchase order data, maintain stock and production records, and prepare production worksheets.

Sets up and adjusts machines, such as grid formers or spade-winding machines, used to fabricate parts for electron tubes: reads work order or receives verbal instructions regarding machine setup. Installs specified parts, such as gears, cams, ratchets, cutters, and guides in machine. Assists employers in establishing wage scales commensurate with prevailing rates. Promotes, develops, and terminates on-the-job training program opportunities with employers and assists in writing contracts. Identifies need for and assists in development of auxiliary services to facilitate bringing disadvantaged applicants into job-ready status. Informs business, labor, and public about training programs through various media. May instruct applicants in resume writing, job search, and interviewing techniques.
