Tool Procurement Coordinator

Coordinates activities of engineering, tool design, purchasing, and other departments, to facilitate production or procurement of tooling: evaluates tooling orders received from production engineering department to determine whether tooling should be manufactured in-house or procured from outside vendor. Examines blueprints to determine tool requirements and special materials or items to be ordered. Calculates and records tool requirement data on tooling order, and routes order to tool design or purchasing department. Prepares requisitions for items to be purchased. Contacts tool room, purchasing, receiving, or other personnel to follow up on procurement or production activities and to expedite movement of tools between departments or vendors. Maintains manual or computerized records of tooling procurement, status, and disposition information. Examines tools and tool records to determine disposition of tools. Processes requests for tool repair. May transport tooling between departments or vendors to expedite handling.

Procurement Engineer

Develops specifications and performance test requirements to facilitate procurement of parts and equipment for aeronautical and aerospace products: analyzes technical data, designs, preliminary specifications, manufacturing limitations, supplier facilities, and availability of parts and equipment. Consults with engineering personnel to establish performance criteria and specifications for manufacturing and testing. Investigates potential suppliers and recommends those most desirable. Advises company personnel, suppliers, and customers of nature and function of parts and equipment. Interviews supplier representatives regarding specifications, costs, inspection, and similar problems relating to parts and equipment. Arranges and participates in conferences between suppliers and engineers, purchasers, inspectors, and other company personnel to facilitate material inspection, substitution, standardization, rework, salvage, utilization, and economical procurement of parts and equipment installed in aircraft, spacecraft, or related products.

Administers the sourcing and purchasing of IT hardware and software for an organization. Coordinates daily activities associated with IT procurement, including requests for proposals, cost and price analysis, procurement audits, and other contract administration activities.: Assists with the identification of requirements and development of requests for proposals. Coordinates all codification of IT invoices. Prepares invoice reconciliation with various in-house reports. Administers organization's software licensing, including new product and maintenance renewals. Maintains procurement documentation. Ensures compliance with the organization's policies and procedures consistent with contract terms and applicable regulations. May coordinate PC/peripheral repair services.

IT Procurement Manager

Manages the sourcing and purchasing of IT hardware and software for an organization. Identifies requirements and develops requests for proposal. Analyzes competitive IT market, evaluates proposals, and leads negotiations for final, contractual IT agreements.: Establishes appropriate supplier performance and contract measures and manages supplier performance. Identifies opportunities to reduce overall costs and improve supplier performance. Reports on monthly procurement expenditures. Manages organization's software licensing, including new product and maintenance renewals. Maintains procurement documentation. Supervises and trains the Procurement staff. Procurement Inspector

Inspects products manufactured or processed by private companies for government use to ensure compliance with contract specifications: examines company's records to secure such information as size and weight of product and results of quality tests. Inspects product to determine compliance with order specifications, company's quality control system for compliance with legal requirements, and shipping and packing facilities for conformity to specified standards. Submits samples of product to government laboratory for testing as indicated by department procedures. Stamps mark of approval or rejection on product and writes report of examinations. May specialize in lumber, machinery, petroleum products, paper products, electronic equipment, furniture, or other specific product or group of related products.

Compiles information and records to prepare purchase orders. Verifies specifications of purchase requests. Consults catalogs, Internet, and suppliers to obtain prices and specifications. Prepares invitation-of-bid and sends to supplier firms or for public posting. Compiles and records prices, deliveries, and items purchased.: Searches inventory records or warehouse to determine if material on hand is in sufficient quantity. Prepares purchase order and sends to supplier and department originating request. Confers with suppliers concerning late deliveries. May compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates and award contract to bidders or place orders with suppliers or mail order firms. May verify bills from suppliers with bids and purchase orders and approve bills for payment. May classify priority regulations.

Administers the ordering, configuring, and rapid deployment of all IT assets for the organization, including desktops, laptops, tablet PC's, broadband cards, wireless/GPS phones, Blackberries, and other peripherals such as printers and fax machines.: Tracks and deploys software licenses. Collaborates with a wide variety of IT personnel, including Help Desk Analysts, Systems Engineers, and Network Administrators to ensure all assets are properly deployed and brought onto the domain successfully with the appropriate configuration. Creates and maintains asset images. Writes automated scripts and debugs complex technical issues. Develops technical solutions to automate deployment of software and assets. Performs rights management and IT on- and off-boarding. Tracks all unassigned assets to minimize inventory. Assigns user asset and ensures they are properly logged into network and that all equipment and programs are functioning properly.

IT Asset Manager

Manages the complete life cycle (from requisition through retirement) of all IT hardware and software assets that are owned, leased, or licensed. : Monitors and manages all activities within the procurement process from order placement to product deployment, ensuring compliance with the organization's ordering process. Assists with vendor/manufacturer selection, reviews vendor performance, and makes recommendations for performance improvements. Defines asset tracking policies and establishes audit processes to ensure data integrity. Maintains current information on IT asset inventories, contracts, and costs by tracking, monitoring, and reporting on these assets regularly. Assists with technology refresh, standards, and life cycle planning. Reports accurate legal and maintenance information about all IT assets. Manages contracts, installations, moves, adds, changes (IMACs), and maintenance activity. Manages and trains asset management staff about processes and procedures.

Fixed Asset Accountant

Manages the company’s fixed asset records for both book and tax purposes while adhering to and maintaining company policies and procedures. Prepares fixed asset accounting statements, financial reports, schedules, and monthly journal entries or system interfaces to record fixed asset activity.: Monitors fixed asset spending. Records the disposal of fixed assets. Assists in the process of fixed assets additions, transfers, and retirements. Reviews and codes fixed assets to the general ledger. Enters and tracks fixed assets into software. Calculates the depreciation and amortization expense and prepares journal entries. Prepares roll-forward schedules. Participates in fixed asset reconciliation process and resolution of variance. Prepares monthly and quarterly fixed asset reporting. Assists in compliance with fixed asset capitalization policy. Assists with inventory monitoring. Coordinates data management and fixed asset management systems. Provides ongoing support for the Senior Accountants. Coordinates information and data requests with the Tax Department. Participates in annual audits and assists with the creation of audit and tax working papers. Assists with capital expenditure requests and other special projects.
