Banking Investment Manager

Manages the allocation and investment of cash/funds to optimize rate of return and compliance with governing regulations. Directs purchasing of government bonds or other acceptable securities, sale or redemption of bonds and securities on due date, substitution of purchased bonds and securities for those sold or redeemed, and regulation of funds to branch offices, correspondent banks, and reserve banks to ensure funds are kept at prescribed levels and in accordance with deposit agreements. NOTE--ERI's findings based on asset size.: Arranges deposit agreements with correspondent banks or designated reserve bank, and directs placement of funds to fulfill agreements. May manage placement of collateral funds in safekeeping accounts of correspondent banks or banks designated as reserve banks to adjust and provide for institution's reserve position following prescribed requirements of regulatory bodies. Reviews consolidated financial statements to determine reserve position, and adjusts reserves in order to obtain specified ratio of reserves to liabilities. Prepares reports for management on status of legal reserves and reserve position. May manage cashier activities.

Nurse Licensed Practical

Provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to ill, injured, convalescent, and disabled patients in such settings as hospitals, clinics, private homes, schools, sanitariums, and similar institutions. Takes and records patients' vital signs. Dresses wounds, gives enemas, douches, alcohol rubs, and massages. Applies compresses, ice bags, and hot water bottles. Observes patients and reports adverse reactions to medication or treatment to medical personnel in charge. Administers specified medication, orally or by subcutaneous or intermuscular injection, and notes time and amount on patients' charts. Requires an LPN or LVN license.: Assembles and uses such equipment as catheters, tracheotomy tubes, and oxygen suppliers. Collects samples, such as urine, blood, and sputum, from patients for testing and performs routine laboratory tests on samples. Sterilizes equipment and supplies, using germicides, sterilizer, or autoclave. Prepares or examines food trays for prescribed diet and feeds patients. Records food and fluid intake and output. Bathes, dresses, and assists patients in walking and turning. Cleans rooms, makes beds, and answers patients' calls. Washes and dresses bodies of deceased patients. In home care environment, serves as a liaison between the client and the private duty staff, and assesses the client's condition and the home environment. Provides health care instruction to patient and family members. May provide medical treatment and personal care to patients in private home settings. May assist in delivery, care, and feeding of infants. May inventory and requisition supplies.

Banking Investment Analyst

Analyzes financial information to forecast business, industry, and economic conditions, for use in making investment decisions. Summarizes data describing current and long-term trends in investment risks and economic influences pertinent to investments. Recommends investment timing and buy-and-sell orders to company or to staff of investment establishment for advising clients. Typically requires a four-year college degree in a related field; however, some companies may accept equivalent education and experience combined.: Gathers and analyzes company financial statements, industry, regulatory and economic information, and financial periodicals and newspapers. Interprets data concerning price, yield, stability, and future trends of investments. Draws charts and graphs to illustrate reports. May call brokers and purchase investments for company, according to company policy. May recommend modifications to management's investment policy. May specialize in specific investment area, such as bond, commodity, equity, currency, or portfolio management.

Investment Specialist

Buys and sells stocks and bonds for individuals and organizations as representative of stock brokerage firm, applying knowledge of securities, market conditions, government regulations, and financial circumstances of customers. Must have broker's license.: Gives information and advice regarding stocks, bonds, market conditions, and history and prospects of various corporations to prospective customers, based on interpretation of data from securities reports, financial periodicals, and stock-quotation-viewer screen, and persuades customers to buy or sell specific securities according to their financial needs. Transmits buy or sell orders in accordance with customer's wishes. Develops portfolio of selected investments for customer. Compiles list of prospective customers and telephones prospects to obtain additional business.

Licensed Occupational Therapist

Plans and conducts occupational therapy program to facilitate development and rehabilitation of mentally, physically, or emotionally disabled. Program involve activities, such as manual arts and crafts, practice in functional, prevocational, vocational, and homemaking skills, activities of daily living, and participation in sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities, designed to help patients or disabled people develop or regain physical or mental functioning or adjust to disabilities. Requires a four-year degree in the field of health sciences.: Selects constructive activities suited to individual's physical capacity, intelligence level, and interest, to increase independence, prepare individual for return to employment, assist in restoration of functions, and aid in adjustment to disability. Teaches individual skills and techniques required for participation in activities, and evaluates individual's progress. Designs and constructs special equipment for individual, and suggests adaptation of individual's work-living environment. Requisitions supplies and equipment. Lays out materials for individual's use, and cleans and repairs tools at end of sessions.

Licensed Physical Therapist

Plans and administers medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone diseases, to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability. Reviews physician's referral (prescription) and patient's condition and medical records to determine physical therapy treatment required. Tests and measures patient's strength, motor development, sensory perception, functional capacity, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency, and records findings to develop or revise treatment programs. Plans and prepares written treatment programs based on evaluation of patient data. Administers manual exercises to improve and maintain function. Instructs, motivates, and assists patient to perform various physical activities, such as nonmanual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, daily-living activities, and in use of assistant and supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses. Must comply with State requirement for license.: Administers treatments involving application of physical agents, using equipment such as hydrotherapy tanks and whirlpool baths, moist packs, ultraviolet and infrared lamps, and ultrasound machines. Evaluates effects of treatments at various stages and adjusts treatments to achieve maximum benefit. Administers massage, applying knowledge of massage techniques and body physiology. Administers traction to relieve pain, using traction equipment. Records treatment, response, and progress in patient's chart or enters information into computer. Instructs patient and family in treatment procedures to be continued at home. Evaluates, fits, and adjusts prosthetic and orthotic devices, and recommends modification to Orthotist. Confers with physician and other practitioners to obtain additional patient information, suggest revisions in treatment program, and integrate physical therapy treatment with other aspects of patient's health care. Orients, instructs, and directs work activities of assistants, aides, and students. May plan and conduct lectures and training programs on physical therapy and related topics for medical staff, students, and community groups. May plan and develop physical therapy research programs and participate in conducting research. May write technical articles and reports for publications. May teach physical therapy techniques and procedures in educational institutions. May limit treatment to specific patient group or disability or specialize in conducting physical therapy research. In facilities where assistants are also employed, may primarily administer complex treatment, such as certain types of manual exercises and functional training, and monitor administration of other treatments. May plan, direct, and coordinate physical therapy program.

Investment Accountant

Applies principles of accounting to investment accounts, including maintaining ledger accounts and developing financial statements and reports.: Prepares and inputs general ledger entries. Assists in the preparation of standardized financial reports. Retrieves data from various sources to perform general ledger account reconciliations. Reviews and updates job documentation. Analyzes and distributes requested financial data. Calculates the daily Net Asset Value (NAV) for assigned funds. Reviews market quotes for acceptable fluctuation, reasonableness, and accuracy. Researches and resolves market valuation and/or fee variances and inconsistencies utilizing available technology. Prepares financial statements, month-end closing, fund analysis, monthly accruals, monthly management reporting, requested audit schedules, and market value and asset allocation reports. Suggests and implements improvements, where appropriate.

Licensing Clerk

Issues licenses or permits to qualified applicants: questions applicant to obtain information, such as name, address, and age, and records data on prescribed forms. Evaluates information obtained to determine applicant qualification for licensure. Collects prescribed fee. Issues driver, automobile, marriage, or other license. May conduct oral, visual, written, or performance test to determine applicant qualifications.
