Supervises work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure clean, orderly, attractive rooms in hotels, hospitals, and similar establishments. Assigns workers their duties, and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness. This position typically reports to a manager and is the first level of supervision in the organization.: Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies. Issues supplies and equipment to workers. Inspects and evaluates physical condition of establishment, and submits recommendations for painting, repairs, and furnishings to management. Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and takes corrective action. Provides orientation, training, and inputs on evaluation of housekeeping aides/janitors.
