Staffing Manager

Oversees and manages the organization's recruitment and staffing functions. Promotes and sells staffing services to prospective clients and develops and maintains client relationships. Markets to clients by phone, conducts client meetings, and participates in networking events. Oversees mentoring and training of staff, and manages daily operations. Leads the team responsible for staffing and recruitment operations, including maintaining personnel requests, job description maintenance, and advertisement creation.: Interacts with client's hiring or requesting managers to determine needs and to ensure needs have been met. Leads staffing team in reviewing applications and resumes, screening and interviewing applicants, matching qualified candidates to jobs, and providing permanent or temporary placement of qualified candidates for required job assignments. Conducts thorough and objective referencing, including responsibility for obtaining applicable background checks. Provides feedback to hiring or requesting managers based on candidate skills and experience as required by the position. Solicits detailed feedback from hiring or requesting managers in order to ensure selection of the most qualified candidates. Educates and guides staff, assists in recruiting best practices and strategies, legal requirements, and company interviewing guidelines. Ensures consistent corporate image throughout recruiting campaigns. Sources potential candidates through all applicable means, including cold calling, Internet posting and search, networking, employee referrals, community-based partnerships, etc. Creates and implements staffing and employment strategies to enable the business.

Staffing Coordinator

Coordinates staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and to meet demands of department. Monitors reporting of staff hours. This position does not include any supervisory responsibilities.: Completes daily staffing sheets. Interacts with employees to cover daily staffing requirements, including securing coverage for vacancy shifts, open positions, and vacations. Prepares and completes daily staff hours report, reporting problems with employee attendance as needed. Communicates with admissions on a daily basis for census and admission/discharge status of patients. Reviews daily punch detail report on each employee, verifies hours worked, corrects any errors, and identifies trends. Assists with orientation of new employees. Creates and distributes HR communications and helps to implement HR programs. Compiles, summarizes, and analyzes employee data, helping to coordinate HR training and workshops. May verify payroll accuracy for the Payroll Coordinator. May complete applicant flow log, agency usage, and accruals for department. May assist with employment advertising. May perform drug screening for the interview process. May assist with reporting and/or collecting employee information related to Workers' Compensation incidents.

Commission for the Blind Director

Directs activities of state commission for the blind to facilitate vocational and social adjustment of visually handicapped individuals: directs, through subordinates, activities of workers engaged in training visually handicapped in vocational and other skills. Plans and organizes training programs and self-employment opportunities for blind persons. Confers with representatives of civic groups and charitable organizations to coordinate programs and services. Recommends changes in legislation affecting visually handicapped individuals. Represents commission at conventions and addresses public gatherings to promote understanding of problems of blind and partially sighted and activities of commission. Authorizes purchase of materials and equipment within allocated budget.

Social Worker Healthcare

Assists patients and their families with personal and environmental difficulties which predispose illness or interfere with obtaining maximum benefits from medical care: works in close collaboration with physicians and other health care personnel in patient evaluation and treatment to further their understanding of significant social and emotional factors underlying patient's health problem. Helps patient and family through individual or group conferences to understand, accept, and follow medical recommendations. Provides service planned to restore patient to optimum social and health adjustment within patient's capacity. Utilizes community resources to assist patient to resume life in community or to learn to live within limits of disability. Prepares patient histories, service plans, and reports. Participates in planning for improving health services by interpreting social factors pertinent to development of program. Provides general direction and supervision to workers engaged in clinic home service program activities. Works in general hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, drug and alcohol abuse centers, or related health programs. May be employed as consultant in other agencies. Usually required to have knowledge and skill in casework methods acquired through degree program at school of social work.

Commission Agent Livestock

Sells livestock at stockyards as agent for owner: receives, appraises, and sorts livestock according to factors, such as weight, sex, age, and appearance, to determine value and facilitate sale. Contacts purchasing agents and informs them of livestock available for sale. Shows livestock to buyers and receives bids. Informs interested buyers of other bids received. Sells livestock to highest bidder. May purchase livestock as agent for farmer. May specialize in purchase of one species of livestock.

Commission Agent Agricultural Produce

Sells bulk shipments of agricultural produce on commission basis to wholesalers or other buyers for growers or shippers. Deducts expenses and commission from payment received from sale of produce, and remits balance to shipper. May call on wholesalers' customers, such as restaurants and institutional food services, to promote sales and provide nutritional and other information about products. May be required to be licensed and bonded by state.

Staffing Clerk

Compiles and records information about temporary job openings and refers qualified applicants from register of temporary help agency. Responds to hospital, business, or other type of organization requesting temporary workers and obtains and records job requirements. May give employment applications to applicants, schedule interviews with agency registration interviewers, or administer skill tests. Performs other clerical duties.: Reviews records to locate registered workers who match job requirements and are available for scheduled shift. Notifies selected workers of job availability and records referral information on agency records. Sorts mail, files records, and performs other clerical duties. May refer workers in specific occupations, such as nursing.

Healthcare Recruiter

Performs resource and recruitment functions to fill healthcare job openings, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checking, and extending of job offers.: Sources and identifies qualified healthcare professionals through a high volume of outbound phone calls and meetings. Conducts phone screens and in person interviews to ensure qualifications meet requirements. Administers skills testing, reference checks, employee verifications, and background investigations as required. Utilizes resources to attract qualified professionals available for opportunities. Generates qualified leads and referrals for other qualified employees. Attends networking events and remains active in the healthcare community. Creates and places recruitment advertising in channels including the Internet, newspapers, employee communications, and professional publications. Builds and maintains professional relationships with workforce. Presents opportunities to qualified employees and negotiates contract terms. Collaborates with employing customers to evaluate candidates. Prepares employment agreements, extends job offers, arranges for any pre-employment activities such as drug screening, and completes and routes new-hire paperwork. Informs appropriate organizations of new employees. Maintains and distributes recruitment data. Conducts routine follow-up meetings with personnel on customer sites/projects. Performs research on market and pricing. Attends contract meetings and documents information from meetings. May conduct new-hire orientations as required. May attend career fairs as needed.

Staff Dietician

Plans therapeutic diets and implements preparation and service of meals for patients in hospital, clinic, or other health care facility. Consults with physician and other health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions, such as low fat or salt free, of patients. : Formulates menus for therapeutic diets based on medical and physical condition of patients, and integrates patient's menus with basic institutional menus. Inspects meals served for conformance to prescribed diets and for standards of palatability and appearance. Instructs patients and their families in nutritional principles, dietary plans, food selection, and preparation. May supervise activities of workers engaged in food preparation and service. May engage in research. May teach nutrition and diet therapy to medical students and hospital personnel.

Healthcare Manager

Plans and participates in medical care or research program in hospital, clinic, or other public medical facility: provides medical care for eligible persons, and institutes program of preventive health care in county, city, or other government or civic division. Gives vaccinations, imposes quarantines, and establishes standards for hospitals, restaurants, and other areas of possible danger. May conduct research in particular areas of medicine to aid in cure and control of disease. May be designated medical officer.
