Responsible for administration, management, and long-range planning of the Home Care and Hospice Departments. Manages multiple disciplines which may include nursing services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, social work, respite care, and home helpers. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing and five or more years of management experience in home care and hospice.: Represents the organization in the service area and directs a coordinated team effort for patient care and customer service. Directs, supervises, and governs the home care and hospice programs including in-patient care, home care, and bereavement follow-up. Administers and maintains quality assurance, environmental, and infection control policies in accordance with objectives, policies, and procedures. Prepares reports regarding the activities of the operation. Directs and supervises the work of staff in providing for the care and needs of patients. Develops, maintains, and implements policies and procedures. Hires, trains, and motivates a qualified staff. Confers and cooperates with management personnel in formulating administrative and operational policies and procedures. Reviews and analyzes expenditure, financial, and operations reports to determine requirements for assisted living operations. Approves requisitions for equipment, materials, and supplies.

Top Marketing Officer

Plans, develops, and establishes policies and objectives of marketing in accordance with objectives of organization. Oversees marketing activities in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures. Requires a degree in business administration or marketing. Typically reports to the Top Marketing and Sales Officer.: Confers with customers and customer representatives to evaluate and promote possibilities for improved and expanded marketing. Recommends changes in philosophy and policy to serve the best interest of the organization. Estimates market values and conditions. Investigates market conditions and facilities to determine time, place, and type of sales. Prepares advertising material and selects media for its release. Determines method of display and sets prices of items to be sold in conformity with value and market. Directs sales aids, advertising, promotional programs, and field services. International Marketing & Sales Executive

Develops objectives, policies, and programs for the International Marketing and Sales activities of the organization.: Plans, directs, and coordinates the efforts of all International Marketing and Sales personnel toward the accomplishment of objectives. Maintains and constantly improves the organization's international competitive position. Ensures maximum sales volume at minimum cost. Provides advice and assistance to the Chief Executive Officer and operating units on International Sales and Marketing issues. Plans and directs activities that include estimating market values and conditions; investigating market conditions and facilities to determine time, place, type of sales; preparing advertising material and selecting media for its release; assigning and directing activities of sales personnel; determining method of display; and setting prices of items to be sold in conformity with value and market.

Home Care Hospice Reimbursement Manager

Assures that all daily patient financial services functions are completed to ensure maximum cash flow, timely customer service with patient families and other staff, and compliance with all regulatory requirements of governmental agencies and third party payers. Manages and supervises the Patient Financial Services staff.: Manages the production of the initial monthly billing, the monthly revenue journals, and related reports for General Accounting. Assists Contract Services in the development of rates for specific facility, provider, payer, and physician contracts. Assists the Controller and the Director of Accounting with revenue rate projections for annual budget preparation. Investigates and evaluates changes in any government or third party payer regulation that may impact reimbursement. Assists in the development of standards and processes that promote effective and efficient operations in the Patient Financial Services area and related areas. Oversees the coordination of staff to maintain the timely flow of billing data, including insurance verifications, census reporting, production of billing, and collections. Acts as an educational resource for staff and management for reimbursement, billing compliance, and insurance issues. Manages resources, such as time, expenses, supplies, labor, etc., and develops staff resources through training, mentoring, coaching, etc. May participate with various organizations on a local or State level in relationship to hospice/health care reimbursement.

Marketing Director (Revenue)

Directs the promotion of the marketing or service activities among customers or prospects; directs representatives who call on existing or potential customers. Directs advertising and marketing campaigns. Holds meetings to coordinate efforts of marketing staff. Typically reports to Top Marketing Officer and normally will have a Marketing Manager reporting to this job; however, in smaller organizations all levels of marketing management may not be present and this may be the Head of Marketing. NOTE: ERI's findings based on revenue size.: Ensures that representatives are kept informed of changes in territories that might affect product sales. Makes forecasts on anticipated market sales. Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring work activities, such as preparation of records of expenditures, progress reports, etc., in order to inform management of current status or work activities. Submits reports of sales activity and maintains records. Promotes satisfactory customer relations. May recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.

Marketing Administration Manager

Manages marketing and/or sales administration. Ensures marketing/selling activities are in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures. Directs and coordinates personnel who provide administrative sales and marketing support. Typically reports to a director.: Updates the status of sales orders and coordinates deliveries from the point of production and distribution. Directs personnel program. Directs preparation of accounting records. Recommends budgets to management. May confer with customers and customer representatives to evaluate and promote possibilities for improved and expanded marketing. May direct marketing and sales aids, advertising, promotional programs, and field services.

Leads the creation of the product business case based on interactions with customers in the consumer market.: Identifies, quantifies, and justifies new product ideas and potential markets. Contributes to the product roadmap and business strategy, and collaborates with others on the company's long-term vision. Creates comprehensive new product business cases that communicate customer needs and key new product parameters to the product development team, while also justifying the financial investment and working to create products that exploit the advantages of the company. Creates new product launch plans that detail the sales collateral and press engagement. Creates sales tools and conducts sales and distributor trainings. Identifies and engages with key customers to drive product adoption. Manages outside resources to create and publish press releases, advertisements, white papers, and conference materials. Forecasts and is accountable for new product revenue, pricing strategies, and end-of-life activities.

Hospice Director

Directs, plans, coordinates, and supervises the overall functions of the hospice program including home care, inpatient care, and bereavement follow up. : Evaluates educational and informational programs. Implements and maintains established department, unit, and hospital policies, procedures, and objectives. Implements and maintains quality assurance, environmental, and infection control policies. Prepares reports on the operation's activities for review by the hospital administration.

Hospice Supervisor

Plans, provides, and evaluates patient-centered nursing care provided by effective utilization of staff members to meet hospice patient needs. Develops and coordinates hospice programs to ensure the delivery of quality patient care. Typically requires graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, current licensure, and a minimum of two years of experience in an acute, home health or hospice setting.: Ensures individualized, appropriate hospice plan of care through effective utilization of the interdisciplinary team. Ensures appropriateness of patient admissions, discharges, and level of hospice care through consultation with interdisciplinary groups. Participates in the patient/family assessment process and care plan development. Coordinates physician instructions with nursing staff and internal and external hospital departments. Coordinates and manages the daily workload of assigned staff to meet the clinical needs of hospice patients and their families. Manages patient care expenses within established guidelines. Ensures compliance with State, Federal, and JCAHO regulations. Hires, develops, and motivates a qualified hospice care staff. Provides guidance and monitors the performance of the hospice care staff.

Director Hospice
