Childrens Aid Society Director

Directs a Children's Aid Society organization with the goal of ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of children and families and providing each child with the support and opportunities needed to become a happy, healthy, and productive adult. Oversees the day-to-day organization, future planning, direction, and operation of the organization. Plans, develops, and administers comprehensive case plans and programs of the organization. Implements short- and long-range plans, and ensures the development and achievement of the objectives of the organization's annual service plan. Monitors the effectiveness of plans through case management. Ensures compliance with relevant legislation and terms of Collective Agreement. Keeps up-to-date with child welfare developments. Represents the interest of the organization within the community. Ensures the development and maintenance of effective community relations with competent staff. Ensures mandatory services are delivered consistently and within time frames required by law and the policies of the organization. Promotes the development of new services. Acts as a liaison between staff and the board. Keeps the board appropriately informed of issues which affect the agency's services, policies, and/or procedures. Provides consultation to management regarding contentious issues and case situations. Supervises management staff and provides advice, support, evaluation of work in progress, assignments, and feedback as needed. Ensures the operation of the organization within the approved budget and monitors and reports budgetary variances.

Director Fundraising

Plans, develops, and establishes policies and objectives of fundraising function in accordance with objectives of organization. Responsible for employees engaged in fundraising activities. Plans, coordinates, and oversees fundraising programs for charities or other causes.: Directs and coordinates activities of employees engaged in the following activities. Contacts fraternal organizations, businesses, individuals, establishments, labor organizations, etc., by telephone, in person, or by mail to solicit donations. Develops list of prospective donor groups by using such sources as newspaper items, companies' records, local merchants, organizational, professional, and industrial listings and directories and other sources. Compiles and analyzes information about potential contributors and to plan selling approach. Contacts prospective donor groups to explain requirements and benefits of contributions. Promotes goodwill. Writes, telephones, or visits potential contributors and persuades them to contribute funds or gifts-in-kind by explaining purpose and benefits of fund raising program. Takes pledges or funds from contributors. Records expenses incurred and contributions received. Assists in preparation of annual budget by providing data and making recommendations. May write letter to express appreciation for donation. May organize volunteers and plan social functions to raise funds. May prepare fundraising brochures for mail-solicitation programs. May train volunteers to perform certain duties to assist fundraising. May speak at meetings about services available. May prepare applications for grants. May recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.

Fundraising Manager

CRM Targeted Marketing Campaign Manager

Develops, executes, and manages Customer Relationship Management (CRM) marketing activities in an organization, including e-marketing programs and strategies, campaign management, and analytics.: Executes campaigns using an array of tools and applications, such as e-mail, web, surveys, etc. Identifies and defines recommendations for tool and process improvements as needed. Manages response handling, campaign tracking, follow-up, and automated lead management. State Historical Society Director

Directs activities of state historical society: directs and coordinates activities of research staff. Reviews publications and exhibits prepared by staff prior to public release in order to ensure historical accuracy of presentations.
