Academic Advisor

Provides advising services to students to promote personal growth, academic and career planning, and decision making. Assists, guides, and motivates college students to realize professional and educational goals. Monitors academic success of students, including GPA, SAP, graduation progress, midterm warnings, and student honors. Provides student advocacy to resolve issues that affect student satisfaction. Advises student in all phases of academic and career planning, including program and course information, scheduling, registration, transfer requirements, articulations with other educational institutions, and graduation requirements.: Advises, coordinates, and refers students with specific learning needs regarding the identification and utilization of support services. Collaborates with Admissions Department staff to monitor program capacity, assist in student admissions, and monitor student progress. Human Resources Advisor

Provides establishment personnel assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving human relations and work performance problems within establishment to facilitate communication and improve employee human relations skills and work performance. Talks informally with establishment personnel and attends meetings of managers, supervisors, and work units to facilitate effective interpersonal communication among participants and to ascertain human relations and work related problems that adversely affect employee morale and establishment productivity. : Evaluates human relations and work-related problems and meets with supervisors and managers to determine effective remediation techniques, such as job skill training or personal intervention, to resolve human relations issues among personnel. Community Relations & Services Advisor Public Housing

Promotes tenant welfare in low income public housing developments: initiates and maintains liaison between local housing authority and voluntary and public agencies for development and managements of public housing developments. Facilitates establishment of constructive relationships between tenants and housing management, and among tenants. Secures social services, such as health, welfare, and education programs for improving family and community standards. Provides leadership to tenants in development of group activities, such as adult education and recreation. Refers families with personal problems to community resources. Financial Analysis Manager

Manages conduct of statistical analyses of information affecting financial and accounting programs of public, industrial, and/or financial organizations through subordinate financial analysis staff. Analyzes, evaluates, and interprets data concerning investments, price, yield, stability, and future trends, using financial periodicals, securities manuals, and personal interviews. Typically reports to a director and may have supervisors reporting to this position.: Reviews and/or constructs charts and graphs regarding investments and other financial areas of the organization. Summarizes data setting forth current and long-term trends in investment risks and measurable economic influences pertinent to status of investments. Financial Center Manager

Directs and administers a financial center, ensuring that it provides the public with banking services, credit decisions, and/or service for consumer and commercial loans. Promotes growth through the development of deposits, assets, fee-based services, and the development and retention of new and existing customers.: Leads the sales function for the financial center, meeting and exceeding profit, deposit, and loan sales goals. Oversees the complete consumer loan process. Manages the commercial loan process by establishing relationships, determining business needs, making recommendations for those applications passed to the appropriate loan officer, and maintaining relationships.
