Federal Aid Coordinator

Interviews job applicants on eligibility lists and prepares individual recommendations for consideration by superior. May be designated according to agency unit supervised or purpose of unit.

Top Sales Government Executive

Directs activities, either directly or through subordinates, concerned with contracts for government sales of equipment, materials, products, or services. This position is the highest government sales executive and, depending on organization, Governments Sales Managers may report to this position.: Negotiates contracts with government. Reviews and authorizes bids, process specifications, test and progress reports, and other exhibits that may be required. Requests or approves amendments to or extensions of contracts. Advises planning and production departments of contractual rights and obligations. Examines estimates of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy. Plans, develops, establishes, and implements policies and procedures in accordance with objectives of organization. May act as liaison between company and subcontractors. May recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.

Collaborates with a team of sales professionals to maximize sales revenue generation within the public sector, including the Federal, State, and local government agencies. Develops marketing plans and customer presentations and proposals in order to maximize sales.: Performs cold calling, prospect qualification, and strategic sales process planning. Negotiates and closes all sales opportunities. Implements and drives a business plan to meet and exceed sales and revenue objectives. Defines and leads a process-driven approach to agency mapping, program and opportunity identification, acquisition planning, contract award, and procurement. Maintains a broad knowledge of procurement practices and contract vehicles, particularly GSA business practices and Federal Supply Schedule. Provides opportunity reports, forecasts, competitive status reports, and other needed account information.
