Supervisor Auto Mechanic

Supervises and coordinates activities of automobile mechanics engaged in repairing, adjusting, servicing, and storing motor vehicles in industrial or commercial establishment: analyzes defective equipment to determine cause of trouble. Inspects and drives repaired vehicles to verify repairs. Trains workers in and demonstrates repair and maintenance of vehicles, using handtools, welding, and grinding equipment. Evaluates performance of workers. Keeps inventory of repair parts and equipment and requisitions replacement stock. Prepares repair reports and vehicle requests. Schedules transporting of passengers or materials to service or storage areas. May supervise workers engaged in inspection and repair of miscellaneous equipment, such as cement mixers and electric trucks. Performs other duties as described under supervisor.

Auto Design Checker

Examines detail, layout, and master drawings of either auto-body or chassis parts, assemblies, and systems, for practicality of design, accuracy of mathematical calculations, dimensional accuracy, projection, and conformity to specifications and standards, using computerized work aids. Applies knowledge of auto-body and chassis design, methods of manufacture and assembly, and drafting techniques and procedures. Discusses necessary changes with staff members and coordinates corrections.

Auto Design Detailer

Drafts full-size or scale detail drawings of either auto-body or chassis parts and assemblies from specifications, master drawings, layouts, models, prototypes, sketches, or verbal instructions, for engineering and manufacturing purposes drafter, applying knowledge of auto-body or chassis structure and methods of manufacture and assembly.

Apprentice Auto Mechanic

Performs duties as described under apprentice.

Marketing Director (Experience)

Directs the promotion of the marketing or service activities among customers or prospects; directs representatives who call on existing or potential customers. Directs advertising and marketing campaigns. Holds meetings to coordinate efforts of marketing staff. This position typically reports to the Marketing Top Officer and normally will have a Marketing Manager reporting to it; however, in smaller organizations all levels of marketing management may not be present and this may be the Head of Marketing.: Ensures that representatives are kept informed of changes in territories that might affect product sales. Makes forecasts on anticipated market sales. Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring work activities, such as preparation of records of expenditures, progress reports, etc., in order to inform management of current status or work activities. Submits reports of sales activity and maintains records. Promotes satisfactory customer relations. May recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.

Manager Retail Store (Experience)

Manages daily operations of a retail store engaged in selling specific lines of merchandise, such as groceries, meat, liquor, apparel, jewelry, or furniture; related lines of merchandise, such as radios, televisions, and household appliances; or general lines of merchandise. Formulates pricing policies to ensure profitability of store operations. Coordinates sales promotion activities and prepares or supervises preparation of merchandise displays and advertising copy. Performs and/or supervises employees engaged in taking of and controlling inventories, reconciling cash with sales receipts, keeping operating records, or preparing daily records of transactions. Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties. Typically the next organization level is an Area Manager and supervisors report to this position. NOTE--ERI's findings based on years of experience.: Orders merchandise or prepares requisitions to replenish inventory on hand. Ensures compliance of employees with established security, sales, and record keeping procedures and practices. Typically accountable for controllable expenses, cash management, merchandising, and loss prevention. May hire and train store personnel and maintain employee relations.

Manager Project (Experience)

Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. May report to a director and may have supervisors reporting to this position. NOTE - ERI's findings based on experience.: Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects. Establishes work plan and multi-disciplinary staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel. In larger organizations may have the responsibility of managing project supervisors/leaders assigned to specific projects. Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. May manage sub-contractors and their workforce. Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required. Prepares project reports for management, client, or others. Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.

Retail Store Assistant Manager (Experience)

Assists in managing daily operations of a retail store. Performs a variety of duties personally and/or supervises employees performing duties. Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties. Prepares or directs workers preparing merchandise displays and advertising copy. Performs sales work, takes inventories, reconciles cash with sales receipts, keeps operating records, and/or prepares daily record of transactions. Reports to Store Manager and supervises subordinate staff. NOTE--ERI'S findings based on years of experience.: Acts as manager in manager's absence.
