Executive Director Red Cross

Directs and coordinates operations of nonprofit agency to provide blood, medical care, financial aid, and other special services: oversees agency volunteer operations in areas such as blood donor program, nursing, and financial assistance to assure program adherence to agency charter. Participates in community activities to develop opportunities to ascertain needs, serve clients, and promote agency goals. Establishes and maintains close working relationships with cooperating agencies to avoid duplication of services. Directs and coordinates the administration and operations of halfway house activities to help with treatment and recovery of drug users, sex offenders, the mentally ill, or convicted felons who are placed in the house immediately after their release from a primary institution such as a prison, hospital, or rehabilitation facility. Directs and recommends programs to allow the persons to begin the process of reintegration with society, while still providing monitoring and support, in order to reduce the risk of recidivism or relapse when compared to a release directly into society.: Develops and implements house policies and programs. Ensures house follows all regulations put forth by the Department of Health and other Federal, State, and/or local agencies. Ensures that services required by residents are available on a regular basis and are provided in an appropriate environment in accordance with established policies. Provides rehabilitation services such as individual counseling, advocacy/ombudsman services, job placement assistance, recreation services, group counseling, education and information, pastoral counseling, professional social work, vocational counseling, legal aid and legal counseling, alcohol and drug seminars, and general educational counseling.

Executive Director Nurses Association

Administers program of professional nurses' association, as formulated by board of directors and association members: participates in establishing objectives and policies of association, and interprets program to members and general public at general and professional meetings.
