Employment Director

Plans, develops, and establishes policies and procedures of the employment function in accordance with objectives of organization. Directs and administers employment selection, placement, and transfer programs. Oversees interviewing of applicants and the recommendation of employment offers. Identifies and develops sufficient manpower sources. Typically reports to a Top Officer and manager level personnel may report to this position.: Confers with organization officials to plan business objectives, to develop organizational policies and to coordinate functions. Reviews and analyzes department reports concerning recruitments, interviews, hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, and performance appraisals. Analyzes budget to identify budget needs and/or reductions, and may allocate operating budgets funds. Develops and presents recommendations for improvement of establishment's employment policies, processes, and practices. May recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.

Employment Manager

Manages employment activities of establishment. Plans and directs activities of staff workers concerned with such functions as developing sources of qualified applicants, conducting screening interviews, administering tests, checking references and background, evaluating applicants' qualifications, and arranging for preliminary indoctrination and training for newly hired employees according to policy. Coordinates employment activities, such as those concerned with preparing job requisitions; interviewing, selecting, and hiring candidates; on-the-job indoctrination and additional training; supervisory follow-up, development, and rating of employees; and conducting exit interviews. May report to director level and supervisory level may report to this position.: Keeps records and compiles statistical reports concerning recruitments, interviews, hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, and performance appraisals, utilizing knowledge of job requirements, valid selection processes, and legislation concerning equal employment practices. Analyzes statistical data and other reports concerning all aspects of employment function in order to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and to develop and present recommendations for improvement of establishment's employment policies, processes, and practices.

Contract Administration Manager

Manages contract administration operations involving contracts for purchase or sale of equipment, materials, products, or services, and may direct those who estimate expenditures expected and submits to management. Manages the review of bids from other firms for conformity to contract requirements and determines acceptable bids. Manages the negotiations of contracts with customer or bidder. Manages the analysis of contracts and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred. May report to director level and may have supervisory level reporting to this position.: Manages the development, installation, and maintenance of contract tracking that provide control of expenditures made to carry out activities, such as advertising and marketing, production and labor, maintenance, or project activities, such as construction of buildings. Advises management regarding contractual rights, obligations, and other contractual matters, such as effective use of resources and legal issues. Interprets contracts, accounts, and records to management. Manages activities concerned with amendments to or extensions of contracts. Interprets contracts, accounts, and records to management.

Attorney Director Legal

Directs and coordinates the organization's legal staff and activities. Coordinates the development, revision, and compliance of the organization's policies and procedures with all applicable laws and regulations. Provides management with advice and counsel concerning laws impacting the organization's functional areas. Writes/reviews contracts, files for patents and copyrights, files and responds to lawsuits, and recommends outside counsel when necessary. A graduate degree from an accredited law school is required to carry out the responsibilities at this level.: Develops budget recommendations to support systematically planned programs of legal actions or defenses, and establishes controls to assure optimum deployment of resources within approved budgets. Keeps fully informed of all new developments in corporate legal matters and keeps all levels of management informed of applicable new laws and of the progress and results of court cases. May try large, complex cases.

Attorney Legal Manager

Manages the activities of the legal staff. Assists upper management in providing legal advice and counsel on handling litigation and other legal matters involving the company. Assists in developing and modifying policies and procedures to conform to legal requirements. Drafts, reviews, or revises various company documents. Participates in complex legal projects. A graduate degree from an accredited law school is required to carry out the responsibilities at this level. Typically reports to a director and may have supervisors reporting to this position; however, in smaller companies the manager may be the first level supervisor over subordinate staff.: Provides department budget recommendations and assures optimum deployment of resources within approved budgets. Keeps fully informed of all new developments in corporate legal matters, and keeps all levels of management informed of applicable new laws and of the progress and results of court cases. As required, supplements in-house legal staff by carefully selected outside legal assistance, and monitors and evaluates their activities.

Employment Agency Manager

Manages and coordinates employment services and business operations of private employment agency. The manager level is typically the second level of management and may have first level supervisors reporting to this position; however, in smaller companies the manager may be a first level supervisor over subordinate staff.: Directs hiring, training, and evaluation of employees. Analyzes placement reports to determine effectiveness of employment interviewers. Participates in development and utilization of job development methods to promote business for agency. Enforces, through subordinate staff, agency policies, procedures, safety rules, and regulations. Approves or disapproves requests for purchase of new equipment and supplies. Ensures maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment. Prepares budget requests. Investigates and resolves customer complaints. May negotiate leases and order equipment and supplies for agency.

Contract Compliance Representative (Entry)

Determines provider compliance throughout a region and recommends appropriate actions.: This position is typically responsible for learning investigatory techniques for the detection of inadvertent or intentional fraud. Assists in special investigations and provides support in compliance with requests from enforcement agencies. Researches, handles and assists in resolution of complaints regarding suspected fraud and/or compliance issues. Analyzes documentation and summarizes data gathered from a variety of sources. Interacts with other departments and performs special tasks to include overseeing random examination processes, enforcing membership actions and assessing reports on provider groups or brokers. Conducts ad hoc investigations. This position typically requires at least one year of underwriting experience.

Interacts with other departments and performs special tasks to include overseeing random examination processes, enforcing membership actions and assessing reports on provider groups or brokers. Conducts ad hoc investigations. This position typically requires a college degree in math, economics or a related field and three years of underwriting experience.

Contract Compliance Representative (Mentor)

Determines provider compliance throughout a region and recommends appropriate actions.: This position is knowledgeable of investigatory techniques for the detection of inadvertent or intentional fraud. Assists in special investigations and provides support in compliance with requests from enforcement agencies. Researches, handles and assists in resolution of complaints regarding suspected fraud and/or compliance issues. Analyzes documentation and summarizes data gathered from a variety of sources. Interacts with other departments and performs special tasks to include overseeing random examination processes, enforcing membership actions and assessing reports on provider groups or brokers. Provides first line oversight to less experienced Contract Compliance Representatives. Conducts ad hoc investigations. This position typically requires a college degree in math, economics or a related field and at least five years of underwriting experience.

Contract Development Manager

Coordinates all contracting activities, including providing direction and education in the analysis, strategy, and implementation of all contracting activities to internal departments and external contracted partners. Supports, manages, and administers contracts for services and products across the organization. : Sources contract opportunities and negotiates and implements new contracts. Advises on contractual rights, obligations, and legal issues. Analyzes contract information for terms and conditions, key strategic information, and financial opportunity. Requests or approves amendments to or extensions of contracts. Oversees the execution of requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for qualification (RFQs), and invitations to bid (ITBs). Develops, implements, and enforces supplier and outsourcer guidelines and service level agreements. Conducts regular site visits to observe and analyze contract performance, including administrative competence, provider adherence to established standards, verification that services billed were delivered according to contract, efficiency of program activities, and achievement of contracted outcomes. Performs analyses and advises on responses to funding proposals. Reviews provider reimbursement requests for compliance with contracted budgets and approves payment. Investigates provider and/or consumer complaints related to contracted services and programs.
