Work Force Media Trainer

Plans, coordinates, and directs personnel training and staff development programs for industrial, commercial, service, or governmental establishment: confers with management and supervisory personnel in order to determine training needs. Compiles data and analyzes past and current year training requirements to prepare budgets and justify funds requested, using calculator or computer. Formulates training policies and schedules, utilizing knowledge of identified training needs, company production processes, business systems, or changes in products, procedures, or services. Designates training procedures, utilizing knowledge of effectiveness of such methods as individual training, group instruction, lectures, on-the-job training, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops. Organizes and develops training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials. Trains assigned instructors and supervisors in effective techniques for training in such areas as those concerned with new employee orientation, specific on-the-job training, apprenticeship programs, sales techniques, health and safety practices, public relations, refresher training, promotional development, upgrading, retraining, and leadership development. Updates records and compiles statistical reports on interviews, transfers, performance rating, and promotions to evaluate performance of instructors and monitor progress of trainees. May coordinate established courses with technical and professional courses offered by community schools. May scre.

Security Director

Directs the development and implementation of security programs to guard against theft, vandalism, sabotage, violence, or other threats against the client, organization, or its employees. Directs installation, maintenance, and operation of electronic security systems, such as closed circuit surveillance, entry controls, burglar alarms, ultrasonic motion detectors, electric eyes, and outdoor perimeter and microwave alarms. Usually requires a four-year degree plus two years of relevant experience, or equivalent. Typically reports to a Top Officer, and Security Manager may report to this position.: Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and standards involving hazardous materials, environmental management, and fire safety. Assists with security clearances for new employees or visitors. Conducts internal investigations relating to sensitive security issues. Inspects premises to determine security needs, and recommends protection measures. Participates in investigation of crimes such as fraud, robbery, or arson. Notifies management of security weaknesses, and implements procedures for mitigating losses. May conduct internal investigations relating to sensitive security issues. May investigate acts of vandalism or theft, and works with law enforcement as necessary. Prepares written reports of results of investigations as required. May remove unruly individuals or detain them until they can be turned over to proper authorities. May testify in court.

Air Force Pilot

Pilots fighter aircraft and commands crews to accomplish combat, training, and other missions.: Plans and prepares for mission. Reviews mission tasking, intelligence, and weather information. Supervises mission planning, preparation, and filing of flight plan and crew briefing. Ensures aircraft is preflighted, inspected, loaded, equipped, and manned for mission. Pilots aircraft and commands crew. Operates aircraft controls and equipment. Performs, supervises, or directs navigation, in-flight refueling, and weapons delivery. Conducts or supervises training of crewmembers. Ensures operational readiness of crew by conducting or supervising mission specific training.

Security Systems Consultant

Plans, directs, and oversees implementation of comprehensive security systems for protection of individuals, homes, and business, commercial, and industrial organizations, and investigates various crimes against client. Inspects premises to determine security needs. Depending on client, may have subordinate personnel reporting to this position.: Studies physical conditions, observes activities, and confers with client's staff to obtain data regarding internal operations. Analyzes compiled data and plans and directs installation of electronic security systems, such as closed circuit surveillance, entry controls, burglar alarms, ultrasonic motion detectors, electric eyes, and outdoor perimeter and microwave alarms. Directs installation and checks operation of electronic security equipment. Plans and directs personal security and safety of individual, family, or group for contracted period. Provides bulletproof limousine and bodyguards to ensure client protection during trips and outings. Suggests wearing bulletproof vest when appropriate. Plans and reviews client travel itinerary, mode of transportation, and accommodations. Travels with client and directs security operations. Investigates crimes committed against client, such as fraud, robbery, arson, and patent infringement. Reviews personnel records of client staff and conducts background investigation of selected members to obtain personal histories, character references, and financial status. Conducts or directs surveillance of suspects and premises to apprehend culprits. Notifies client of security weaknesses and implements procedures for handling, storing, safekeeping, and destroying classified materials. Reports criminal information to authorities and testifies in court.

Security Guard Security Service

Observes and reports activities at client's site assigned by security contract service. Provides security and safety for client's property and personnel. Controls access to site by ensuring proper identification of employees or visitors and prepares security logs. Assists visitors with legitimate need to gain entry to facility. Monitors entrances and exits to facility, either at guard station, or by closed-circuit television, and acts to prevent unapproved or unlawful entry. Makes periodic walking tours of buildings and grounds to check doors, windows, and other entries to ensure they are properly secured. Reports any observed irregularities, such as presence of unauthorized people, fire hazards, leaking pipes, unsecured entries, and faulty equipment.: Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors and premises. Investigates disturbances, and in the event of emergency, maintains order and safety of personnel; serves as liaison with emergency response units. Sounds alarm and/or calls police, fire, or emergency personnel by telephone in case of fire, difficulty with unauthorized people, or medical emergencies.

Security Officer

Plans and establishes adequate security procedures for company. Studies security regulations and restrictions relative to company operations. Directs activities of personnel in developing company security measures that comply with regulations. Consults with local, district, or other Federal representatives for interpretation or application of particular regulations applying to company operations. Consults internally with company personnel and departments to assure adequate security. May have supervisory level positions reporting to this job.: Prepares security manual outlining and establishing measures and procedures for handling, storing, safekeeping, and destroying classified records and documents, and for granting company personnel or visitors access to classified material or entry into restricted areas. Directs and coordinates activities of personnel in revising or updating security measures due to new or revised regulations. Coordinates contracts with outside law enforcement agencies. May investigate suspected violations of security. May request deviations from restrictive regulations that interfere with normal operations. May interview and hire applicants to fill security guard vacancies.

Security Aide

Compiles and records personal data about applicants and employees. Prepares badges, passes, and identification cards. Interviews applicants to obtain and verify information, such as name, date of birth, physical description, and (when appropriate) type of security clearance held. Assists manager in preparing required reports and keeping department records.: Corresponds with law enforcement officials, previous employers, and other references to obtain applicant's background for use in determining employment acceptability. Background information may include social, moral, national, and political background. Photographs new employees and may fingerprint workers and keep other supplemental identification systems. May keep records of badges issued, lost, and reissued. May issue temporary identification badges to visitors.
