Vice President Engineering

Plans, develops, directs, and oversees all planning and implementation of practices, policies, programs, procedures, and personnel activities of an organization's engineering efforts. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, design, modify, and improve company products and/or services; design testing and maintenance of production processes, machinery, and/or equipment; design and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and physical layout; reliability improvements; cost engineering; construction and engineering project management; and other related activities. Directs engineering management in formulating plans, designs, cost estimates, and specifications. Reviews, approves, and coordinates product and process changes to maintain or improve cost/benefit ratio. Assesses working conditions to ensure compliance with all regulations and safety standards.

Financial-Decision Support Analyst

Identifies, analyzes, and monitors issues that affect profitability, growth, and productivity.: Uses computer software for research, audit, and analysis of clinical and business data to help identify and understand opportunities to improve processes and outcomes. Selects appropriate statistical methods. Provides accurate and useful reports about potential business opportunities. Remains current on data sources and analysis tools. This position typically requires a Bachelor's and three years of clinical or financial analysis work experience in a healthcare environment. May be responsible for recommending strategic alternatives and developing operational plans.

Director Child Support Enforcement Program

Directs agency or major function of public or voluntary organization providing services in social welfare field to individuals, groups, or community: works with board of directors and committees to establish policies and programs and administers such programs. Determines policies and defines scope of services to be rendered within legislative regulations for public welfare agency functioning without board of directors. Assumes responsibility for development and administration of standards and procedures related to personnel, including staff development, budget, and physical facilities. Interprets agency purpose and program to community. Establishes and maintains relationships with other agencies and organizations in community toward meeting community needs and services. Prepares, distributes, and maintains variety of reports. Inspects agency operations and facilities to ensure agency meets standards and procedures criteria. May direct or coordinate fund raising, public relations, and fact finding or research activities. Employed in settings such as child welfare, community welfare councils, family casework, youth serving agencies, health organizations, informal education, and recreation, including scouting and y's, public welfare, and fund raising. May work in specific area of social welfare and be designated director, child support enforcement program; director, community center; director, social service; director, rehabilitation program; director, mental health agency.

Head of Support Services

Manages and coordinates activities of employees engaged in administrative services such as purchasing, security, maintenance, mail and messenger services, office clerical and support services, printing, telecommunications, and cafeteria services. Studies schedules and estimates time, cost, and labor estimates for products, services, and/or completion of job assignments. Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring work activities, such as preparation of records of expenditures, progress reports, etc., in order to inform management of current status of work activities. A bachelor's degree is typically required for carrying out the responsibilities for this job.: Analyzes department budget to identify budget needs and/or reductions, and may allocate operating budget funds. Medical Top Support/Ancillary Executive

Directs activities of multiple supporting units of a hospital. Organizational units may include but are not limited to three or more of the following supporting areas: central supply, engineering, dietary, housekeeping, laundry, security, pharmacy, respiratory, physical, recreational, occupational therapy, medical records, etc. Typically reports directly to the Hospital Administrator.: Coordinates activities with those of other hospital departments. Establishes policies and procedures in cooperation with other hospital officials. Interprets and administers personnel policies and provides for training program. Reviews activities and recommends changes in, or better utilization of, facilities, services, and staff. Establishes and maintains work schedules and assignments of staff members. Authorizes purchase of supplies and equipment. Prepares and submits budget, records, reports, and statistical data.

Hospital Top Support/Ancillary Executive

Reviews activities and recommends changes in, or better utilization of, facilities, services, and staff. Establishes and maintains work schedules and assignments of staff members. Ancillary/Support Top Executive Medical

Directs activities of multiple supporting units of a hospital. Reviews activities and recommends changes in, or better utilization of, facilities, services, and staff. Establishes and maintains work schedules and assignments of staff members. User Support Analyst Supervisor

Supervises and coordinates activities of employees engaged in interpreting problems, providing assistance, problem-solving support, and advising computer user related to hardware, software, and systems. Assists User Support Analyst in solving non-routine software, hardware, and procedure problems. Typically requires a four-year college degree in field of specialty. Typically reports to manager level in the organization.: Talks with staff, computer users, supervisors, and managers to determine requirements for new or modified software and hardware. Writes recommendations for management review. Coordinates installation of hardware and software, and implementation of procedure changes. Interprets company policy to employees and enforces company policy and practices. Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring work activities, such as preparation of records of expenditures, progress reports, etc., in order to inform management of current status or work activities. User Support Analyst

Provides technical assistance, support, and advice to end users for hardware, software, and systems. Investigates and resolves computer software and hardware problems of users. Serves as a contact for users having problems using computer software, hardware, and operating systems. Determines whether problem is caused by hardware, software, or system. Answers questions, applying knowledge of computer software, hardware, systems, and procedures. May work as in-house consultant and research alternate approaches to existing software and hardware when standardized approaches cannot be applied. Typically requires a four-year college degree in field of specialty; however, some organizations may accept equivalent education and experience combined.: Talks with co-workers to research problem and find solution. Asks user with problem to use telephone and participate in diagnostic procedures, using diagnostic software or by listening to and following instructions. Talks to programmers to explain software errors or to recommend changes to programs. Calls software and hardware vendors to request service regarding defective products. Reads trade magazines and attends computer trade shows to obtain current information about computers. May test software and hardware to evaluate ease of use and whether product will aid user in performing work. May write software and hardware evaluation and recommendation for management review. May write or revise user-training manuals and procedures. May develop training materials, such as exercises and visual displays. May train users on software and hardware on-site or in classroom, or recommend outside contractors to provide training. May install microcomputers, software, and peripheral equipment, following procedures and using hand tools. May conduct office automation feasibility studies, including work flow analysis, space design, and cost comparison analysis. May specialize by type of software, computer language, or computer operating system.
