Registered Health Information Technician

Reviews the medical record documentation to assure specificity of diagnoses, procedures, and appropriate/optimal reimbursement for hospital and/or professional charges and accurately codes and sequences the primary and secondary diagnoses and procedures using ICD-9 and CPT coding conventions. Typically requires a college degree in medical health records and CCS certification by the American Health Information Management Association or a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT).: Coordinates and reviews the work of designated employees to ensure quality and quantity of work performed through regular audits. Assists with research and development and presentation of continuing education programs on areas of specialization. Abstracts and compiles data from medical records for optimal reimbursement for hospital and/or professional charges. Consults with and educates physicians on coding practices and conventions. Maintains reporting documentation for certain procedures in compliance with regulation. Performs medical record audits. Compiles medical care and census data for statistical reports on types of diseases treated, surgery performed, and use of hospital beds, in response to inquiries from law firms, insurance companies, and government agencies. Conducts special studies and research.

Dance Therapist

Plans, organizes, and leads dance and body movement activities to improve patients' mental outlooks and physical well-beings; observes and evaluates patient's mental and physical disabilities to determine dance and body movement treatment. Confers with patient and medical personnel to develop dance therapy program. Conducts individual and group dance sessions to improve patient's mental and physical well-being. Makes changes in patient's program based on observation and evaluation of progress. Attends and participates in professional conferences and workshops to enhance efficiency and knowledge.: Plans, organizes, and leads dance and body movement activities to improve patients’ mental outlooks and physical well-being. Works with individuals of all ages, groups, and families in a wide variety of settings. Observes and evaluates patient’s mental and physical disabilities to determine dance and body movement treatment. Confers with patient and medical personnel to develop dance therapy program. Concentrates on helping clients improve self-esteem and body image, develop effective communication skills and relationships, expand movement vocabulary, and gain insight into patterns of behavior. Conducts individual and group dance sessions to improve patient’s mental and physical well-being. Makes changes in patient’s program based on observation and evaluation of progress. This position typically requires a Master’s degree in dance therapy or a related field and registration as a DTR (Dance Therapist Registered) or ADTR (Academy of Dance Therapists Registered.)

Horticultural Therapist

Plans, coordinates, and conducts therapeutic gardening program to facilitate rehabilitation of physically and mentally handicapped patients: confers with medical staff and patients to determine patients' needs. Evaluates patients' disabilities to determine gardening programs. Conducts gardening sessions to rehabilitate, train, and provide recreation for patients. Revises gardening program, based on observations and evaluation of patients' progress.

Registered Representative

Sells financial products and services to clients for investment purposes, applying knowledge of securities, investment plans, market conditions, regulations, and financial situation of clients. Must be registered to sell securities.: Identifies potential clients, using advertising campaigns, mailing lists, and personal contacts. Solicits business from potential clients. Interviews clients to determine financial position, resources, assets available to invest, and financial goals. Provides clients with information and advice on purchase or sale of securities, financial services, and investment plans, based on review of professional publications and other financial literature and knowledge of securities market and financial services industry. Psychiatric Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner

Under indirect supervision of a Psychiatrist, provides for the mental health care needs of patients through advanced assessment, identification of health states including abnormal conditions, diagnosing, treatment and evaluation.: A Psychiatric Advanced Nurse Practitioner is a registered nurse (RN) who has completed a nurse practitioner educational program and holds national certification as a nurse practitioner from a Board approved certifying body with a specialization in psychiatry. Provides direct clinical services for psychiatric patients according to established protocols and utilizes evidence-based clinical practice standards under the supervision of the supervising physician. Functions independently to perform individual assessments, diagnostic functions, specialized risk assessments, and make critical decisions regarding a wide variety of health situations, including high risk and crisis situations. Obtains patient health histories and completes examinations. Orders, performs and interprets lab and diagnostic imaging studies. Diagnoses and treats acute health problems. Provides health maintenance, screenings and referrals. Provides counseling to promote healthy lifestyles and arranges consultations and referrals. Collaborates with physicians and other health care professionals as needed. Documents examination results, noting pertinent normal and abnormal findings and ensures accuracy of notes on patient medical records. Explains the necessity, preparation, nature and anticipated effects of procedure(s) to patients, patient’s family, or staff. Performs approved therapeutic or diagnostic procedures based upon patient’s clinical status. Adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care. Prescribes, manages, and supervises medication treatment for psychiatric conditions. Provides quality assurance review. Maintains established policies and procedures, safety, and infection control standards. This position typically requires a Master’s degree in nursing, licensure as a Registered Nurse, and graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Post Master’s advanced training and certification in psychiatry is also required. May serve in a teaching capacity or may supervise clinical and support staff in patient care activities. May diagnose, manage treatment and monitor acute or chronic conditions.
