Order Scheduling Manager

Manages, plans, organizes, and controls the activities of personnel in order-writing department who write and process master orders used by production, shipping, invoicing, advertising, cost, and estimating departments. Plans and develops order-writing procedures, systems, and methods using knowledge of company products, pricing methods, and discount classifications. The manager level is typically the second level of management and may have first level supervisors reporting to this position; however, in smaller companies the manager may be directly over subordinate staff.: Directs the establishment and maintenance of customer order records, such as discount classifications, cost basis, special routing, and transportation information. Communicates with appropriate department managers to coordinate and resolve customer order problems. Monitors and analyzes costs and prepares department budget. Prepares reports and records on department activities for management. Ensures adequate training of staff and employee compliance to organization's policies and practices. May initiate or authorize employee hire, promotion, discharge, or transfer.

Order Scheduling Supervisor

Supervises workers writing master orders used by production, shipping, invoicing, advertising, cost, and estimating departments. Assists in planning and implementing order-writing and processing procedures, using knowledge of company products, pricing methods, and discount classifications. This position typically reports to a manager and is the first level of supervision in the organization.: Analyzes order processing system and develops recommendations to improve methods and procedures relating to the receipt, booking, and processing of customer orders. Coordinates and supports the establishment and maintenance of customer order records, such as discount classifications, cost basis, special routing, and transportation information. Assists in preparation and control of departmental annual budget. May hire, train, schedule, motivate, and evaluate job performances of staff.

Airline Manager- Scheduling

Manages and coordinates the airline's Scheduling Department operation strategies and activities. Assists with the development and implementation of organization policies, practices, procedures, and attainment of operating goals. Optimizes aircraft utilization and deploys aircrafts in markets with maximum revenue potential in order to optimize revenue generation.: Meets with other operational departments, for information to aide in developing airline schedules. Determines flight times for current and future schedules, prepares current and future schedules, and verifies the accuracy and success of the process. Coordinates activities of department with related activities of other departments, such as Maintenance, Crews, and Fleet Planning, to ensure efficiency and economy. Evaluates current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives to develop and implement improved procedures and practices. Recognizes and maintains an understanding of the trends in the transportation industry, and seeks out, quantifies, and develops opportunities for improvement to the operations and execution of workflow processes. Determines aircraft needs and maintains full understanding of each flight's financial performance. Ensures adequate training of staff and employee compliance to organization's policies and practices.

Disability Work Compensation Claims Specialist

Reviews, analyzes, investigates, makes liability decisions and approves the release of benefit payments up to authorized levels on initial, continued and reopened claims.: Independently reviews simple to complex claims for adjudication purposes. Evaluates new and ongoing claims to determine liability according to contract provisions, medical evidence, and vocational evidence and duration contract guidelines. Performs periodic follow-up to determine continuing existence of a disabling condition. Analyzes documentation and summarizes data gathered from a variety of sources. Responds to telephone and written inquiries from claimants, attorneys, physicians and policy holders. Updates and maintains accurate records. This position typically requires knowledge of case law and state worker’s compensation laws. A minimum of three years of claims adjudication experience is typically required.

Call Center Traffic & Scheduling Analyst

Monitors and analyzes various real-time production performance measurements in call centers. Provides immediate feedback to department supervision and management concerning traffic variances. Determines daily staffing requirements, analyzes call volume trends, and forecasts future requirements to efficiently and profitably staff the call centers.: Ensures that the call center meets department goals through the analyzing of various traffic measurements. Reports call center performance through the production of reports. Prepares schedules to meet traffic requirements. Monitors call center agent activity and real-time call traffic. Monitors agents' real-time activity and intervenes when appropriate. Provides and makes recommendations for training opportunities by analyzing volume of calls per skill and agent availability.

Materials Scheduling Clerk

Prepares requisitions for procurement of material and supplies. Compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, stored, and issued, and requisitions needed supplies. Prepares inventory or keeps perpetual inventory records.: Verifies material received against requisitions, shipping notices, or invoices, to determine irregularities in order. Inspects articles and rejects defective ones.

Clerk Materials Scheduling

Evaluates and selects program participants according to specified criteria and counsels and instructs selected students in matters such as vocational choices, job readiness, and job retention skills and behaviors. : Assists students in applying for jobs and accompanies students to employment interviews. Confers with employer and visits work site to monitor progress of student and to determine support needed to meet employer requirements and fulfill program goals. Counsels students to foster development of satisfactory job performance. Confers with school and community personnel to impart information about program and to coordinate program functions with related activities.

Schedule Planning Manager

Negotiates with governmental regulatory body to change company's route application (fixed schedule for flights) over authorized routes as representative of certificated air carrier: analyzes documentation on company operations and recommended changes in route application, prepared by subordinates, to determine if company position warrants requesting route application hearing, considering such factors as current and projected traffic load, route application of competitive carriers over same route, and profitability of route operations. Submits current and proposed schedules to schedule committee for consideration and approval to request hearing before regulatory body. Prepares company's position and arguments for presentation at route application hearing and negotiates with body for additional route applications or deletion of route applications on unprofitable routes in order to improve efficient utilization of flight personnel and equipment and to reduce losses or increase revenues. Directs and coordinates activities of workers compiling documentation on route application, analyzing data, and preparing recommendations for schedule changes.

Process Controller

Verifies performance of yarn texturing machines for conformance to specifications, using test equipment and instruments: reviews work order to determine machine to be checked and type of inspection required. Inspects machines for threading problems, such as incorrect placement of yarn and opened feed rollers. Measures operation of machine components, such as oil roller, transverse bar, and rotating shaft of feed roll, to measure operation of machine, using counter, speed indicator, and stopwatch. Observes and records factors, such as heat setting and package tube color of yarn. Determines amount of tension on yarn, using tensioner. Examines friction unit to ensure positioning of belt and to identify defects on unit, and measures speed of unit, using stroboscope. Measures level of humidity, using psychrometer. Compiles data of measurements taken of machine and machine operations and compares actual measurement with measurements from specifications book. Notifies specified personnel of deviations from specifications.
