Audit & Compliance Director

Develops, directs, and administers the organization's internal audit and compliance functions in accordance with the audit plan and audit schedule to mitigate loss and risks. Monitors organization operations and each financial system and evaluates their efficiency, effectiveness of controls, accuracy of records, and compliance with internal corporate policies and procedures and external laws and government regulations.: Measures and evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of business practices and operations, the reliability of financial reporting, the process for deterring and investigating fraud, and the safeguarding of company assets. Examines and evaluates the organization's financial and information systems, management procedures, and managerial and internal controls to ensure records and controls are accurate. Analyzes and recommends business improvements and ways to better execute the organization's responsibilities. Recommends controls for organization's computer system to ensure reliability of the system and integrity of the data. Provides counsel and advice to management regarding implications of audit and compliance findings, and recommends appropriate corrective measures.

Manager Tax Compliance

Manages activities of personnel responsible for ensuring that tax reports have been properly prepared and filed. Compiles data based on tax studies and analyses of past and current years to prepare budgets and to justify taxes reported. Typically reports to a director.: Correlates appropriations for specific taxes related to divisional programs. Prepares regular and special budget reports to interpret budget directives and to establish policies for carrying out directives. Submits reports to upper management with recommendations for budget revisions.

Financial-Decision Support Analyst

Identifies, analyzes, and monitors issues that affect profitability, growth, and productivity.: Uses computer software for research, audit, and analysis of clinical and business data to help identify and understand opportunities to improve processes and outcomes. Selects appropriate statistical methods. Provides accurate and useful reports about potential business opportunities. Remains current on data sources and analysis tools. This position typically requires a Bachelor's and three years of clinical or financial analysis work experience in a healthcare environment. May be responsible for recommending strategic alternatives and developing operational plans.

Director Child Support Enforcement Program

Directs agency or major function of public or voluntary organization providing services in social welfare field to individuals, groups, or community: works with board of directors and committees to establish policies and programs and administers such programs. Determines policies and defines scope of services to be rendered within legislative regulations for public welfare agency functioning without board of directors. Assumes responsibility for development and administration of standards and procedures related to personnel, including staff development, budget, and physical facilities. Interprets agency purpose and program to community. Establishes and maintains relationships with other agencies and organizations in community toward meeting community needs and services. Prepares, distributes, and maintains variety of reports. Inspects agency operations and facilities to ensure agency meets standards and procedures criteria. May direct or coordinate fund raising, public relations, and fact finding or research activities. Employed in settings such as child welfare, community welfare councils, family casework, youth serving agencies, health organizations, informal education, and recreation, including scouting and y's, public welfare, and fund raising. May work in specific area of social welfare and be designated director, child support enforcement program; director, community center; director, social service; director, rehabilitation program; director, mental health agency.

Supervisor Tax Compliance

Supervises activities and personnel responsible for ensuring that Federal, State, and local tax reports have been properly prepared and filed in a timely manner. Compiles and analyzes tax data based on past and current year's records and submits estimates to management. Correlates appropriations for specific taxes related to divisional programs. Analyzes records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred. This position typically reports to a manager and is the first level of supervision in the organization.: Prepares regular and special reports to interpret budget directives, and establishes policies for carrying out directives. Submits recommendations for budget revisions to management. Develops, installs, and maintains reporting systems that provide control of tax expenditures and marketing, production and labor, maintenance, or project activities. Advises management regarding tax matters. Interprets accounts and records to management.

User Support Analyst Supervisor

Supervises and coordinates activities of employees engaged in interpreting problems, providing assistance, problem-solving support, and advising computer user related to hardware, software, and systems. Assists User Support Analyst in solving non-routine software, hardware, and procedure problems. Typically requires a four-year college degree in field of specialty. Typically reports to manager level in the organization.: Talks with staff, computer users, supervisors, and managers to determine requirements for new or modified software and hardware. Writes recommendations for management review. Coordinates installation of hardware and software, and implementation of procedure changes. Interprets company policy to employees and enforces company policy and practices. Community Development Compliance Specialist

Ensures that the organization is in effective compliance with the laws and regulations which govern its community development programs. Coordinates and submits compliance, regulatory, and government documents for all community development activities in the organization. Disseminates information regarding community development compliance matters and the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) to appropriate operating areas and contact persons. Monitors and evaluates community development, housing and/or housing development, finance, education, social work, children/youth work, criminal justice, or elections-related programs for compliance.: Monitors and reviews the procedures and practices of the organization and its activities for compliance with applicable laws and regulations and adherence to internal policies. Reviews documentation and procedures to assure compliance. Trains staff in all applicable compliance regulations. Coordinates the implementation of new regulations and requirements and conducts related staff training. Responds to complaints, including the analysis of historical patterns. Provides interpretation and clarification of regulations, and recommends appropriate procedural changes. Ensures that the organization is successful in passing examinations conducted by the appropriate governing authority. Works with internal auditors and serves as liaison with regulators. Responds to inquiries and requests for examination ratings, brochures, or public information. Interacts with all levels throughout the organization to ensure regulatory compliance. Identifies external vendors to obtain training materials. Attends seminars to maintain current knowledge of regulatory developments, as necessary. Provides technical assistance to program personnel. Writes reports and maintains administrative records. Prepares, reviews, and executes contracts and other necessary documents. May conduct on-site inspections to assess effectiveness of projects and ensure program compliance.

Representative Dealer Compliance

Inspects franchise dealerships and distributorships to ascertain compliance with company operating policies and procedures and to require adherence in detected instances. Inspects inventory and operating records to ascertain that only approved products are sold and approved operating procedures followed by dealer. Inspects premises and observes working conditions to ensure compliance with company and governmental standards of safety and sanitation. : May ascertain that dealers are paying bills due company and may collect monies due. May advise dealers on financial aspects of operating franchise.

Arch Support Technician

Fabricates steel arch support to fit patient's foot, according to medical prescription: receives plaster cast of foot from prosthetist or podiatrist. Places protection cloth into cast and fills cast with plaster to mold model of patient's foot. Removes hardened model from cast and traces model outline on paper to use as pattern in cutting support. Selects stainless steel sheet of prescribed thickness and cuts sheet to specified dimensions, using shears, guided by pattern. Hammers steel into prescribed contours to form support and places support against plaster model to determine accuracy of fit. Splits support into front and back pieces when indicated according to prescription, using shears. Polishes support, using abrasive wheel. Glues leather to bottom of arch support to protect shoe, and rivets additional leather across top edge for foot comfort, using riveting tool.

Community Support Worker

Investigates problems of assigned community and of individuals disadvantaged because of income, age, or other economic or personal handicaps to determine needs: seeks out, interviews, and assists persons in need of agency services, under direction of professional staff, or refers persons to specific agencies for service. Visits individuals and families in their homes to explain supportive services and resources available to persons needing special assistance. Speaks before neighborhood groups to establish communication and rapport between persons in community and agency, to publicize supportive services available, and to assist in resolving problems facing community concerning housing, urban renewal, education, welfare, unemployment insurance, and crime prevention. Follows up all contacts and prepares and submits reports of activities. May maintain files and records of work activities to provide access to and retrieval of data. May work for police department for purpose of establishing communication between citizens and police officials to promote understanding of functions, purpose, and goals of police in community and assists in resolution of community problems.
